How can pogba be rated as one of the best midfielders in the world if he can't play multiple roles,I still think he's great but his defensive contribution isn't the best, easy fix play him higher ?
Haydon Dalley he can defend very good also, (that’s why we never seem to concede goals) but our problem is we have a lack of creativity that’s why we need him further up
Actually, there's where he goes wrong.Being a defender you require some positioning discipline that pogba lacks. In the same respect, Matic is one of the best CDMs in the world.
#sundayvibes What is the best XI for each of the worlds best national teams (Spain,England,Brazil,Germany,Belgium etc) I know it’s a long one but would be v interesting especially with the World Cup so close
They know nothing about Serie A. Bunucci was shit in the beginning but he has improved a lot since. Bonucci alongside with Romagnoli is one of the best center-back partners in Europe at the moment. Milan's owner isnt out of money, he has come out and said that himself after all the bullshit inte newspapers.
So frustrating watching this show as a Serie A fan. All they do is occasionally suck of Napoli and Juventus without doing any research into any other team.
Bonucci is playing as the best defender in the world again. Since Gattuso has come to Milan, Bonucci has become a new player and Mussachio (Trash) is bench. Stats also back it up, he is the best-rated defender last 9 games
The problem is there don´t watch the Serie A. Example Mertens is not as good as people think. I´m Napoli fan and mertens is not near the level of Higuain for Napoli. Mertens is overrated but they think is amazing.
Haters: "Pogba isn't world class because he can't play multiple midfielder roles" Oh so that means Sergio Ramos isn't world class because he only plays CB and not LB or RB. That means Suarez or Lewandonski aren't world class as they only play as strikers but can't play on the wing. That means Kante isn't world class as he plays as a CDM/CM but can't play as a CAM or a RM/LM. Everyone has their best positions and you don't NEED to be versatile to be World Class. So everyone saying Pogba needs to be able to play as a CDM if he wants to be world class needs to consider this and should judge him when he's playing in his preferred position rather than go ham on him when he's forced to play out of position.
This is the problem with United. They buy great midfielders, and then bench them, ruining the shit out of them. Schweinsteiger, Pogba, Di Maria, Veron.
sumedh joshi schweinsteiger was too old for the prem, pogba has still had many good games this season and last, di Maria didn’t want to be at the club, and Vernon was just shit in the prem, was still shit at Chelsea too
sumedh joshi di Marie isn't a great player... He is a good player with pace and he has been scoring for PSG recently but he has years do get his act together he was poor at utd he wanted to much time on the ball ....mourinho is playing pogba in wrong position I think most football fans agree he is playing him to deep and has to play him higher to get what you paid for ...like the guys said a 4-3-3 looks the way to play but he will have to change.... Don't know if mourinho will change until maybe next season...
If Man Utd best player this season is underwhelming then what are the other players . Do people actually watch football all just follow what the pundits say
Who's going to win the World Cup this year? Check the last digit of likes on this comment... 0 = France 🇫🇷 1 = Spain 🇪🇸 2 = Germany 🇩🇪 3 = Belgium 🇧🇪 4 = Brazil 🇧🇷 5 = England 🇬🇧 6 = Portugal 🇵🇹 7 = Argentina 🇦🇷 8 = Uruguay 🇺🇾 9 = Chile 🇨🇱
As a united fan I agreed with joe until he said play martial as compared to rashford he seems lazy and unaware to what’s going on around him. I’ve also realised recently martial and lukaku are always stood on their heels and they need to be on their toes if they want to be quicker in attack.
completely agree what jose is doing with pogba , he needed a humbling. if you watch united you'd know he's guilty of being too casual, losing the ball many times thinking he's untouchable. if you're playing at that level you need to be able to play any position, even if it's not your favorite one however with that said mou has been unable to get the attack going. even b4 sanchez we had an amazing start to the season with martial and rashford each coming off the bench to make an impact.mou needs to find the right system, otherwise we could slip out of the top 3
Bonucci has actually played extremely well in the last few months. Him and Romagnoli are an incredible partnership. You guys are so naive about Serie A sometimes..
I'm so glad someone's finally said that Sanchez would be a better fit for United on the right. We signed a very versatile forward who's being played in the forward area where we have the most depth, which is frankly ludicrous considering Martial is having his best season. No-one else has a problem with this until now so I'm so happy to hear this Loving the show keep it up.
I love it how we played 4-3-3 against Chelsea ( 2-1 win) , pogba played in a 3 man midfield and Scott mctominay took Herrera's place. We looked so good in the second half. Let's go for crystal palace next week!!!
Pogba hasn't been bad. He's been covering every role in the midfield, and we saw how well he was doing at the beginning when we had a strong backline to cover him.
my best 2 cent for united line up: GK: de gea RB: valencia CB: bailly lindelof/jones/rojo LB: shaw( give him more game times) CM: matic herrera AM: pogba (need more freedom) RW: sanchez LW: martial (more dangerous in left wing) CF: lukaku /rashford (more pacey , like against chelsea last year)
Ederson. ( As an answer to the last question) is somewhat, to a certain degree revolutionizing the goal keeper with his ability to play the ball out from the back with his feet. Also amazing shot stopper.
All I can say about the Pogba/Mourinho situation is that if I was a United fan, I'd much rather keep Pogba than Jose. It would be MUCH easier for Manchester to get a world class coach or at least a really good one. Hell, some of them aren't even employed. But look at world football now and tell me what player could realistically come and replace Pogba that United would actually be able to take without it costing them an arm and a leg. Goretzka is already binded by Bayern. Rafinha could be that guy but if he goes on a run of good performances at Inter, he'll either stay there or be taken back by Barca (who desperately need new central midfielders) and nevermind anyone playing for a direct rival. Only reason Matic and Sanchez arrived is because one was a swap and the other's contribution to his team was underappreciated. While I respect Mourinho, I feel like the team he has could have its true potential brought out by another manager with more offensive minded tactics.
How was Roberto Firmino not mentioned he's been so pivotal, this season especially, and his unselfishness is the reason we get so many goals. Sometimes Salah and Mane get too greedy and shoot when they could pass but not Firmino and 21 goals is pretty good for a false 9. Not to mention his runs that makes space for Salah and Mane as well as his defensive workrate
Milan bought decent players, but too much of them. Everton just bought really poorly. They were so close, though. Sigurdsonn didn't need to be signed.. put that 45 million towards someone else in another area and they would have been fine.
Worst punditry is when they say "that's a good penalty" purely because the keeper guessed the wrong way, when if the keeper had gone that way they'd be calling it a poor penalty
Lacazette with 9 goals and 3 assists so far is decent so he can't be considered a flop. It's decent considering the fact he was getting subbed after 70 mins each game and has only played in the PL and two cup games this season.
Lacazette is not a flop. He’s getting no service from the midfield. 1st season. He’s been playing with a leg injury since the beginning of the season. It just wasn’t major at the time but over time it’s gotten more serious.
As much as I'm loving United's recent struggles, Pogba is clearly very talented (not as much as people say, but still has bags of ability) where as Bakayoko has to be one of the worst players I've seen in recent memory. He is SO frustrating when you consider he earns hundreds of thousands of pounds a week to play like Ali Dia.
in my opinion I think pogba played pretty well against sevilla, he glided past players but did give away the ball like twice but I'm pretty sure the whole utd squad gave the ball away at least 3 times each player
James is my surprise player, the man can create so much, he finds space where there pretty much is none, he is so good on set pieces that it honestly surprises me when he doesn't get a shot on target of find a man. I expected him to be a good player that would add depth but his quality makes me want Bayern to buy him immediately, if there is a buyout clause in the loan, he is so good that he is seriously competing with Muller and Robben, he's even comet ping with Thiago.
i cant say i think about france when i think about a country known for something in foodball. think when i think def i think about italy and germany, attack Brazil and argentina, change in foodball spain had the biggest impact in my opinion and last but not least the team that people always think will do good but fail to do so England and Netherlands
Bonucci played in a back-three with Barzagli and Chiellini for ages. Those three had a bond and chemistry together like nothing before. This season he was chucked into a back-four a young Romagnoli and Fabio Borini.. yeah, that's not anti-climactic at all. I wonder why he was so bad at the start of the season. Hm.
Is it just me or do they discuss a question like "Who improved/ surprised/ disappointed etc. the most..." almost every week? Impressive though, that they find new answers to these questions every time.
pogba isnt quite a CAM, but he is a more attacking player and Jose expects him to play like Matic? pogba should be played further up...Jose is about to ruin a brilliant young players career
Big surprise this season was Inter, started the season surprisingly excellently on great form and made a surprisingly calamitous fall as they're now 4th in Serie A
on the Paul v Jose, I personally think it's both their faults, moreso Jose, but Paul could be doing some things a bit better than he is, however, I do think it's more Jose simply because he's not the right manager for Paul, and in my opinion, he's not a very good manager in the first place (have you seen how he treats youth players?) so it could be a coin flip, I do say both as Paul should be trying to work on his defensive positioning and other defensive aspects, but Jose needs to wake up to himself and realise what he's doing wrong, same with Wenger as he needs to realise that he should be playing a wide 4-1-2-1-2
I’m a United fan and I’m sick of the “put him on the left hand side of a midfield 3” bullshit. A top quality midfielder can multiple roles for the team. For example, De Bruyne has played as a 10, on the right, deep lying playmaker and as a box to box midfielder. Pogba clearly has the talent but he doesn’t have the attitude to be a world class player. He thinks the team should revolve around him and should be brought down from the clouds. Plaudits to mourinho for putting the team first and not allowing the best player automatic minutes when his attitude is shit. I think this will be good in the long term.
You don't need to question the biggest flop of the season. Bakayako. Not only has he failed to live up to the hype that was created when joined Chelsea he has failed to do simple tasks that school boys can do,that's why he's the biggest flop. Also I feel Bonnuci is a bit harsh considering he left to join AC Milan who have been disappointing as a club, not a player.
interesting, how such a 'world class' player needs two defensive mids next to him just to play well. seems as if fitting pogba into a team is more trouble than it's worth.
First it was Miki, now it's Pogba, which players talent is Mourinho gonna be wasting after Pogba? Mourinho's track record of talent wasting speaks for itself.
Lacazette is a big flop. Can barely score. If anyone says he’s better than Lukaku or even Morata look at their goals cos that’s what a striker is meant to do, score. Bakayoko is non-league level as well.
Viratos lukaku can’t control a ball but he’s not shit cos a strikers job is to score and not control. Morata has 0.6 goals a game so is very good and is seen as a bottler even tho he’s wasted less chances than Salah and yet Salah is seen as a God
Man Unido yeah sure scoring 2 against the likes of Huddersfield makes him brilliant. He’s had less than 12 touches in the opponents box when playing top 6 opposition.
Noah West you’re comparing salah who’s got a tonne more assists and goals and is a winger, his contribution is tenfold more than those two. Lukaku has barely touched the ball in a top 6 teams box let alone score against them and he’s done this for multiple seasons in the PL. morata has missed some atrocious chances, he’s barely played which explains the low number.
