Just took out the brand new Missy Gannon Captain's Thrashers out to the field and chucked them around. Watch the video to see how they fly! If you want to support me head over to teamdiscraft.com and grab an AB hat, jersey or disc!
Yep that’s az. It ain’t hot til it gets over 110. I’ll be playing in 115 tomorrow morning. Play all summer. Just bring you some extra water and do a little shade chasin
Couldn't agree more. It gives me this vibe of "I don't want to do social media, but I don't mind chucking some discs so let's do that". Kinda his own niche that fits him perfectly.
I think his natural ability size and power give AB the highest ceiling of anyone on tour, him Gannon and likely Calvin over the next five years will push the spoor to however far it goes
Thanks for keeping the early releases in. As an amateur player, it's difficult to be hard on myself when I early release, as the best player in the world does the same thing from time to time
Dude I’m gonna say this now, you’ve got everything I look for in a RU-vidr not even just disc golf RU-vidr, your humor is my humor I like, sudden small comments or jokes throughout your video get me cracking up all the time, like within the first 10 seconds you had me out of my seat
I love that he could have edited it out/ rethrown the anax. Nah not AB, it was a shank, close your eyes 😂 bro don’t ever change plz. Can’t wait to see you at DGLO
Love to see the big arm MPO put that extra speed on the less stable discs and then power down a bit and getting the distance from the discs! Ofc. when the tournaments gets around most turn back to their less "free" distance, but more predictable overstable discs to not shank when the touch goes out the window. This shows the touch Missys backhand got when she cranks them in big headwinds and gets full flight inbounds^^
AB’s dry style is what the scene needed. Also, as a New Yorker, big Missy fan. Her USWDGC undertaker is one of the most aesthetically pleasing discs I’ve bought. Cotton candy sugar skull gunslinger? Yep.
Thanks for all the throws! Lots of different angles and speeds, forehand and backhand is (of course) the best disc review process And as far as you throw, that's a lot of walking in the Arizona sun! Maybe discraft could send their top star more than 2 discs to review!?!
Some of the best energy transfers in the game the transformation of potential into kinetic along with the anatomic fluidity accompanied by the visual symphony of the physics of flight is my kind of artistic expression keep carvings those lines AB!
I appreciate the camera view needed to be high to catch the flight of the discs. But I really appreciate views where I can see most of your (or any pro, for that matter) form while throwing. Either way, you earned a sub. Keep up the good work.
What about some clinic for the next video, backhand form, hyper/anhyzer one video and forehand next. Otherwise I just love your videos, they're wholesome and chill to watch!
Don't die of heat exhaustion! We need you to win at least 1 more this season! Crush Europe and can you please make a "Slower arm speed Straight Fairway/ Distance Driver? I'm Talkin Neutral with very little fade if any. You make awesome videos so just keep um coming and God Bless!
Not sure what replaced it, but the ESP Sting flew like what youre describing. It's one of my favorites for low power floater fairway shots. Dont know why that was discontinued.
The Archer Shots though! Perfectly weighted Hyzer, straight and Anhyzer in like 15 seconds. They are just landing like Orions's Belt, . . dink . . . dink . . .plink...
The dynamics of the Post Production Profiling of a disc has always been a curiosity to me. Flat: Faster due to no resistance against the flight plate. Due to such, less glide with no airspace under the plate. Flip fast, fade fast. Domey: Slower due to resistance of the domed plate, more glide due to more airspace under the plate. Flippier due to requiring less speed to get the disc to move, dome for drivers often tend to drop the parting line, causing more air to push over the edge of the rotation.
I'd love to see a top view with a drone in a little picture in picture action on your throws to really get a sense of the shape and distance. It's hard to see from the back.
I believe the 5th number on discraft discs is a more in depth stability number. Like a stalker and cicada have the same basic stability (-1), but the cicada is obviously way flippier. If you look at the 5th number though its 1.1 for the stalker and .5 for the cicada. I like this way better cause you actually know the relative stability of a disc instead of a broad whole number.
Anthony PLZ make it easy’er fore the EU players to get yours disc so we can support you. We give so much in transport to get them 😢 and you are #1 player fore me and my friends 💪🏼
AB question sir: Do you have true "wooded" courses that mimic the thick rough and tighter tunnels of the East? Curious how one practices those located in the Southwest. 🙏🏻
Will an understable disc do a barrel roll in the air if thrown hard enough?? 🤔 (off the wall thoughts over a cup of coffee) You’re the fastest arm in disc golf…I’d love to see you experiment with this idea 😂
How would you compare these to the Zues? Longer? Slightly flippier? Thrasher is my current distance driver (noodle arm) but I do tend to turn them a bit more than I want, especially in a head wind. The Zeus is just a little more stable for those straighter bombs. I'm hoping this will fit nicely between the two.
These are always humbling. 68.5% and it goes more than 100ft farther than my longest ever throw while nearly dislocating my shoulder and ripping my acl into 3 pieces. Cool disc though, i love the thrasher its my farthest flying disc in my bag by 20-30ft.
N I C E! Archer is super under raited. Casually throwing them 350 on every line possible at 12 % power 🤯 is a different level. I just tried to go grab one but Discraft shoulda threw some money stamps in there for you cause you A.lways B.allen 🥏💸💰 #LETSGOOO
