Are the old 7.3l Powerstrokes still worth it? I bought one cheap!

I picked up a 2001 Ford F250 power stroke 7.3 L diesel
It had a bad oil leak
And bad brakes
Some other small odds and end things like door switches and trailer brakes, but all that stuff came back around and started working just needed some WD-40 on some connections
We change the oil cooler seals did a full fluids change and she is on the road driving

You picked a good one to start with! Doesn't take much to gain power only weak leak is the 4r100 after you start building it.... where in the south are you located?

I don’t plan on building it for more power really. Spooling better would be nice but not needed. I’m pulling a 4 seat RZR on a car hauler with all the camping gear. So maybe 5000 pounds. I’m in franklinton

@CocosPlayound you can install a hydra and make sure up pipes are not leaking and do the kc turbo rebuild kit and it will waken up the truck a ton! Unfortunately there will always be a turbo lag being a non vgt turbo.
