Are there about to be some BIG changes coming in 2024 to VA Tinnitus ratings?

26:00 I am so thankful that my "Doc" told me to get everything on record. My med record is about 5 inches thick! Have over 20 claims in,and a couple suplementary, and only about about 2 are at 0% Still waiting on the PACT for lead/asbestos, but I'm at the bottom of that list.

I was in the infantry and I was injured I fight everyday for survival I'm in trouble with my mental and physical health, asking for prayer.

I put in a hearing loss claim in March, I was just tested for Tinnitus (which I have had for years). AF '81- '95

Thankfully, I was able to get my tinnitus rating, along with my Obstructive Apnea. Coast Guard 2002-22

I filed for tinnitus on May 2nd and have a C and P exam June 27th. Did i miss out on the 10% on tinnitus without hearing loss?

1st Cav 89 - 95. It took from 97 to 2023 to finally get my %10 for tinnitus. Been at 90% for 15+ yrs.

US Navy 1986-89. Naval Reserve 1990-2007. All i have is 10% for tinnitus and 0% for hearing loss. Worked on the flight and hangar deck on active duty. Been denied for PTSD, knee, back, shoulder, etc!

Good afternoon, I am watching your video from 5 days ago regarding Tinnitus. I currently already have 10% and I have another test tomorrow 25 April 2024. Listening to your videos, my appointment might be of no use unless there are additional underlying symptoms such as actual hearing loss, vertigo etc. I have felt the noise is more intense this past year and it interferes with my hearing. Sleeping, snoring and occasional balance issue. Considering the changes you both mention, should I go to my appointment tomorrow or not? I think you mentioned that I would likely be grandfathered, and my current rating would not be affected. Just turned 68. In the USAF for 21 years 76-97 was in the 431 career field jet fighters

Hi guys, I'm rated at 30% for Diabetes and tinnitus. Since getting that 30% rating, I now have migraines, Sleep Apnea, and now have hearing aids. Should I try to upgrade? I'm retired from the USMC> I don;t get extra retirement, just 30% of my retirement pay is not taxed. Was in Vietnam During 1969.

USAF 71-74 SAC. just after realizing i was eligible I was granted 20% back radidiculopothy and 20%, lumbar strain. I was also rated 10% for tinitus and 20% hearing loss. I have since learned other symptoms are all related to tinitus. Ie: vertigo or menieres syndrome, anxiety from not being able to hear or understand most words, hypertension and a few other things. My question is should i pursue these further or will i jeopardize my existing rating? Currently at 50%. All are service connected and documented to in service. Im seeing my PC and going to review these symptoms..

I was in the marines from 81-85 mos was supply at mag 39 air wing on the flight all the time, also work as a marine security guard for 18 months were I was awarded expert marksman three times. Can I file for tinnitus. Thanks David

I have ringing in both ears. The first time hearing test, I lost 50% of my hearing. Just recently, I had another hearing test. According to the recent hearing test, I lost 80%. In 1982, during seek and locate and apprehending of a SNM as listed as a deserter from the United States Marine Corps. 1st MarDiv. The vehicle I was in, was hit by a vehicle on the passenger side . I suffered with broken Tibia and fibula in my right leg. I also fractured my neck, fractured right side colar bone. My right ear ripped of the side of my head. I was rushed to Riverside Riverside General Hospital ICU. RIVERSIDE, CA. Few days later u was transferred transferred to Naval hospital located in Camp Pendleton, CA. For many years thereafter I suffered with pain. My right hip hurts daily . My left leg is. Constantly swell up. I have pain in my neck. Can I out a claim for my current condition.
