A part of Utah history lives mostly through rumors - the existence of a seedy, underground world, buried beneath the streets of Ogden's historic district. Mike Headrick went in basements and businesses to find the truth.

I toured the historic street tunnels PERSONALLY while working at Brewskis/Beatniks & City Club... they're creepy as creepy gets! Although ough many blocks are closed and sealed off (at property owners' discretion) they are still accessible and even functional in most areas, but you won't find them beneath 25th street literally lol no wonder they found nothing there because they are below the buildings *not the roads* and they are technically private property(properties)with private access doors and stairways leading from each building..

I've been as far as one can go down there recently. There are a few offices, and there are tunnels that connect, but like the lady was saying in the video, they are basically just basements that connect. I'm sure some shady life went on down there back in the day, and it's kinda cool to visit now, but there weren't any tunnels going north and south. Atleast , I saw no evidence of that.

Most of Brewskies used to be Rowducks, and the owner was good friends with my wife and I and we've been down there. Yes, it exists...although it's not "under the street" of 25th, that's why they didn't find evidence under the road...because they're UNDER THE BUILDINGS! lol

These tunnels are all over the country. Even in other countries. Because they werent tunnels. It used to be ground level.

I doubt Ogden at that time was more “rough” than Chicago. Definitely a bs rumor if I ever heard one 😂 Capone most likely didn’t say that haha

The music at .20 oh my, even for alcapone this was rough, yeah d&c says someone was punish and sent to Ogden yeah that was the punishment. And before elChapo there was Ogden mafia

I no they exist I was sent in a bunch of tunnels as a boy because I was a little boy could get just bout any wear I hate tunnels now ive found dead body's in them one was my friend she was around my age probably about 5 years old every one told me she moved but I found her dead

I know for a fact they go to Brigham Utah and to salt lake and all the temples are built on top of them.. they all lead to the mountains.. The LDS church is doing something to the tunnels I know it. All on 23rd are old houses some have tunnels closed off under them. The churches all lead to each other.. Some of the houses have huge wine cellars too.

Lol dumb rumor our church doesn't drink wine though Jesus did in the new testament but we drink water but some countries cannot but juice depends on what's easy to get in other countries we use it for sacrament which is in remembrance of Jesus Christ who died and suffered for us and atoned for our sins so we take the sacrament to renew our promise we made at baptism and to remember Jesus Christ and always remember him so we may follow his example in our own lives. I lived in Ogden I didn't know about the tunnels but odgen is wonderful city I love the summers and mountains and trials so close the only thing I don't like is SSI my son's have SSI and they would axceity every month if we didn't have it because we used for rent they changed the amount alot my husband pay didn't change it was causing us to suffer so we moved back to west of salt lake city and everything is so much better never had any problems with social security so I won't live there with social security nope.

My home town in California has the same urban legend with tunnels and prohibition. A while ago before the Qanon stuff and before conspiracy theories became main stream a small theory was developing around these tunnels and whether or not they have been there since prohibition or before. Europe had the catacombs that early Christianity came from. But it appears that they didn’t make them either. I feel these are the cities that an ancient civilization used after a meteor attack. They follows rivers, like all life does.
