Are There Secret Doorways in King Tut's Burial Chamber? 

...or perhaps, they are empty doorways because Tut died very young. Maybe the tomb was intended to be larger. Fun supposition.

I was in King Tuts tomb a few weeks ago. Its tiny, and I suppose its possible there is another tomb back there, but Egypt is a dangerous mess... a total cesspool of corruption. Every tomb guardian offered (for $5 or so "baksheesh") to let me past absolutely any barricade, take pictures of anything, or visit any off limit areas. It was like this in Aswan, Luxor, Cairo, Alexandria, and everywhere in between. They dont care if it ruins the paintings, etc. Its nuts there right now, so much barbed wire, dead animals, bomb sniffing dogs, graffitti, pickpockets, touts... and no tourists. I wonder... do the majority of modern Egyptians even care if anything is buried in these tombs? They (most, not all) will just graffiti and abuse it, like most sites I saw. Saw one family smashing bottles on smaller sphynxes near Karnak. Very unfortunate and depressing place, with such a vibrant and wonderful history! Sure wish they appreciated it and took better care of these important sites.

I can't understand why Egypt want to keep so many of their hidden treasures & burial chambers a secret. There is a technology similar to infared that has been used from above that has found 12 more pyramids & many other chambers & treasures. The Egyptian government don't want to dig these up (from under the sand) which is annoying because this is a great part of history & the more we can understand about the ancient world the more we can learn about who we are & where we came from

It is a fact he died unexpectedly. It is also known tombs got created before pharaos died. So not farfetched to believe they were just unfinished rooms/halls they quickly closed down due to the sudden death. Been there, can not remember a tomb where the end did not end with the coffin. Therefor do not believe in secret treasure many want to believe. Sorry, to break it down so simple.

Another doorway? What could you find there . Carter found 5k items and his mummified remains , what else be burried in this crypt. ? And stuff stacked up tight, all of his valuables and daily items in one plaxe. absolutely no chance of having another door or room.
