I agree. It is not wise to come up with clarification for doubts that are not known among the majority of the muslim. Those people who have any doubts, get them cleared from their own research or asking religious scholars.

Reminds me of when one of my friends was angry because he heard that someone said that his mushaf numbers of ayaat was less than what is commonly available, fortunately we have studied fiqh sholat and Al-Fatihah so as an example I said 'Just like in Al-Fatihah which there are differences in ayaat, there are differences in ayaat numberings, you should check the content instead of comparing the numbers of ayaat'.

Salam. Can you also do a video about the differences Ibn Mas'ud's Quran differs from the compiled version from Uthman? There are several academic attempts to discuss these differences. Ibn Mas'ud being an important figure in relation to Quran preservation makes this interesting how he had a different Quran compilation of his own.

Assalmu Alaykom. A bit unrelated to this video but a one i had on my mind for a long time. In one of your videos you talked about Madd Atta'theem مد التعظيم, and after learning about it i always wondered, would those 2 cases have this type of madd: إِنَّنِيٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعۡبُدۡنِي وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكۡرِيٓ (١٤) طه [14] وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا نُوحِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعۡبُدُونِ (٢٥) الأنبياء [25] In the words "La" and "Illa" Or does it only apply to the word "La"? (For non arabic speakers, those are Ayahs 14 and 25 of surahs Taha (20) and Al Anbiyaa' (21) respectively

There are no missing ayaat in Kur'an. They are controlled many times by prophet Muhammad and angel Gabriel.

Yes. صراط الذين انعمت عليهم۝ Some Qiraat have an ayah here and don't count Bismillah as an ayah.

@@truthfulservant8572Or more accurately, Bismillah is regarded as an Ayah, but not as the 7 Ayat. Bismillah is "Ayah Zero" for every Surah except in Surah Taubah, or as Ayah 1 in some Qiraat of Al-Fatihah.

so, do we have all the sanad of all the qiraats? how many of them differ in the sum of the chapters or verses of the Quran? like we only know 114 chapters have 6236 verses. how many are there in the other qiraats? i heard surah at-Taubah is a continuation of surah al -Anfaal in some qiraats ? is that true?

All of the Qira'aat have al-Anfaal and at-Tawbah as separate suwar (chapters). As for the numbering, it varies among the Qira'aat (the science for this is called ʿilm ʿadd al-āy) from 6210, 6214, 6217, 6226, 6236 as per the endings, going back to the Sahabah. All count 114 suwar (chapters), the difference is just where to stop (and count the verse number) when reading specific sentences within those same 114 chapters. And yes, we have chains of transmission for every single of one them, connected, documented, as mass transmitted (mutawaatir).

And there are more like ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (in the chains of ibn Āmir and ʿAbdullāh ibn Katheer),as well as ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿUmar, and our mother ʿĀ'ishah bint Abi Bakr, etc.

Thats explain why some Christians preachers says that we have different versions of Quran while in the same time "mocking" their Bible to have different versions. They dont know how Qiraat works. The content and the words still the same but only the numbering, starting of a verse, and style of recitation that are different and none of that affects the content and the true meaning of the verse and the chapters in the Quran.

all of the qiraats were originally from the prophet a. ie same source people didnt make it up later on most of the differences in the qiraats are sub language changes but there are some things unique to each qiraat that has nothing to do with dialect the main thing is they all come from the same source and are all accepted people broadcast all of these different qiraats on the radio and telly

The 7 Qira'at are not 7 Qur'ans. There is only one Qur'an, and this one Qur'an itself contains 7 Qira'ats. All 7 Qira'ats are from God, because that is how the Qur'an is supposed to be. And how it always was.
