Jiaoqui is a pure fiction enabler for Acheron mostly. Jade does the same, but for different teams. So ultimately is a question of making 1 team more universal or if you like to use different damage dealers depending on the weakness.

I'm planning to pull for e0s1 Jiaoqiu. 64% vulnerability + Aventurine 10% from his sig gives 74% vulnerability in total. Jiaoqiu ult also benefits both Acheron and Aventurine ult for more damage. And you want enemies to take actions for his talent and if they attack, that also benefits Aventurine. Jiaoqiu will be huge for Acheron in PF since she becomes an erudition unit with the amount of ult she can use and can free herself up from dotcheron team which is typically used in PF. It gets better if you run Aventurine's sig. I say if you plan on going for Jiaoqiu sig, then he's pretty worth it. 64% total vulnerability debuff is nothing to scoff at. Otherwise his performance outside of his sig is not enough to justify pulling for him.

They put a limit to how much stacks Jiaoqiu gives Acheron. It's 6 debuffs per JQ Ult. That's 6 stacks per 3-4 JQ turns. Even Gepard on Trend can sometimes be better than him now. It's so sad. 😞

@@sameowel You can play around with it by making him really fast. Like doing Vonwaqc and 160+ spd. The sooner he can ult again, the sooner he can reset the trigger limit. I still thing it is a bad change they add it, maybe they can increase the limit to 9 or give him ways to gain more energy so he 2t ult consistently. This only affects his pf performance with Acheron but the moc and AS remains the same. But it can be played around if you build him fast.

Finally a content creator who doesnt shit on Jade lol. These MOC supremacists gaslight themselves because theyre broke from the Firefly and Ruan Mei banner by labeling Jade as bad lol. Her being a non-hypercarry DPS/Support gives her longevity in the meta and infinite synergy with future OP erudition units

Well I am one to always accept when a character I like is not good enough, and Jade sadly is one of those units, definitely not someone I would recommend to a new player, but for someone like me, who has been playing this game from day 1, and pretty much has all the OP universal units, sometimes a nieche but insanely awesome in that nieche kinda unit is exactly what I need...

Jade a great character. I was lucky enough to get both Firefly and Jade and they both excel in their own right. Jade is especially great if you focused on getting a full follow-up attack team like I did. Yes, she is more useful in Pure Fiction than in MOC. But I don't see why that is a bad thing. Pure Fiction is still an important part of the end game and having characters that excel in Pure Fiction is never a bad thing in my opinion.

Honestly I could clear apocalyptic shadow and moc but I struggled in pure fiction so special thanks to Jade the icon who helped me and now I kinda wanna go for e1 so I can use her with topaz and ratio really well

Did your Jiaoqiu calcs include his Burn damage/increase in DEF ignore from the DOT set for getting all three (assuming you don't have Kafka's S1), and the increase in Arcana stacks from the Burn?

For the acheron calculation I mostly focused on acheron's personal damage, but for the dot team, yes I did calculate with the dot set on all three dot units and every unit is e0 with F2P lc

7:36 Is this their cumulative damage per boss fight, or it's just one instance of their Ult? I was planning to get Jiaoqiu so my Acheron can spam her Ult more frequently.

For both teams, I calculated damage against the swarog boss with extra mobs, as he has both wind, lightning and fire weakness, and it's total team damage under 5 cycles, with average builds

A decent bit better in MOC/AS and a lot better in PF. If your regarding Acheron. but in General Vulnerability is Better then Defense Shred (or at least a lower amount of it) by a bit, though he's quite SP negative, compared to Pela being super SP positive, + Regardless of how he compares to Pela Generally, he's gonna have a hard time competiting with Bronya/Tingyun let alone The Harmony Trifecta on a lot of Teams. He's an upgrade for an Acheron team He's a Alternative to Robin/RM in a DOT team and he could work in Ratio/Boothill/Argenti teams okay.

There was a few reasons why i wanted Jiaoqiu, those being foxian/pretty man, fire nihility character, and guinaifen replacement ignoring kit differences. But there's no point in pulling for any kind of character if they don't do anything. I mean as always pull for whoever you want, no matter what I'm getting sunday/screwllum, but i would like to have characters on an active team. I just hope there's more available info on him and his supposed nerfs, jade seems pretty cool and i need more quantum on my acc.

I would probably go for Black Swan. She's Kafka's best teammate and I think her rerun should be relatively soon. If you enjoy the Dot playstyle definitely go for her.

I'm Skipping Jade for Yunli, (I do intend to go for Jade's Rerun later on, but for now I intend to Skip her for Yunli) Yunli looks a lot of Fun as a counter unit. Though I do see Jade as a AOE Topaz (Who might eventually get her own Ratio-Like synergy.). So a Jade rerun will be on my Radar. I did want Jiaoqiu at one point for my E2S1 Acheron, but considering he's a Weak Niche debuffer rather then a strong Versatile Debuffer, He just Really disappointed me, Just gonna work on making Pela faster then my Sparkle for my Acheron team rather then Waste my Pulls on Jiaoqiu. After Yunli, I will see if the new units in 2.5 interest me.

I got Jade, and i gotta say it was worth it. She really shines in PF, i instantly got 40k points on 1 side easily, while she was sitting at 48/180 Ratio + 6/7/7/7 Talents. So not even an OP Build. I used Herta, Jade, Ruan Mei and Robin. So her team was very optimal but there was still some air for improvement.

My Acheron E2 team is Sparkle E0S0 , Aventurine E2S1, Pela E6 So my question is: Is it worth to replace Pela E6 with Jiaoqiu E1S1? So far I got very mixed anwsers. Some say: Yes ofc. Much better. Others say: No, same or only a little bit better.

I have E2 as well and I'm probs skipping. Theoretically it doesn't sound that much better than e6 pela. Especially if you have a trends user. Even if you didn't, someone tested without trends and you get only 1 extra ult in PF and none extra in moc due to nerf on his ult (caps stack to 6 I think). Damage amp wise, e0 is bit higher than pela. Don't think it's worth all jades. His LC looked really really nice which was probs why it got nerfed since CN players were using it with pela and making her better than jiaoqiu which was really funny. But we have to see, maybe when jiaoqiu is released, it's better than we hope. From leaks and tester so far, it looks mid especially for E2 havers.

I use Aventurine E2S1 in my Acheron team. Even in the last version before release, Jiaoqiu was made weaker for Acheron I'm definitely planning on skipping him now unless something changes significantly. Only my Acheron & Firefly team get upgrades. The next upgrade for Acheron will probably be Sparkles E2S1. And let's see if Lingsha is really a Gallaghar upgrade for Firefly as some rumors claim.

Absolutely. All of those units will eventually re-run, and you can get them then! Then you'll already have Jiaoqiu ready and waiting. It's ALWAYS a good idea to pull for characters you like and want.

My most dissapointment is the nerf that Yunli got which really destroyed to be wrost 2.0 character in the game with argenti and laos boothill. I dont know why HSR developer hate physical characters like this. For Jade yes she is only PF dps with herta. But for Joa he is gona be top tier.

Well jade is out, among these two, I don't recommend anyone, personally I recommend sparkle that is arriving for her rerun in the second half of this patch, and then wait for Acheron rerun...

jiaoqiu is is the most disappointing character they've release in a long time. i want to like him, i want to get him, but he is just not worth it in any respect. I wish he either did more damage or healed like his flavor text says, or idk, be at least a ruan mei level damage amp. Debuffs are inherently worse than buff, and ruan mei also has so much utility in speed, break effect, break extension, and break efficiency so he wouldn't actually even remotely power creep her, but he should at least be as good as her in DOT teams for goodness sake

I think these units are very underwhelming compared to All the harmony we got, Acheron, Aventurine and Firefly. Jade is only good in one game mode, Jiaoqiu isn’t even a healer anymore so he’s just a random debuffer that is slightly better than pela/sw for Acheron, but nothing incredible. Yunli will be a good dps, but definitely a skippable character as well. I will probably skip them all for Sparkle and maybe E2 Acheron.
