I honestly think there’s a secret tech with SW and Rappa. Def shred and break damage work so well together, and with built in super break I think Rappa can shine in certain scenarios. She might not 0 cycle or deal 1 million damage at the drop of a dime, but she’s going to be great in all modes.
I wish she was a duo dps to Boothill and this would have spiced up break teams and lore accurate. Firefly just got Lingsha so we don't need a dedicated PF break character it was straight up trolling releasing Lingsha before Rappa. If she was a Boothill enabler at least she could have function like Jade and make him good in PF etc. since BH team use Bronya it wouldve been nice someone actually replacing her.
I got jade to E1 s1 and I feel like she clears most content for me.. but since I invested so much in her I’m always looking for another follow up or erudition unit to pair with her but Herta is so damn good…. Rappa looks cool but not really my vibe tbh. And I started the game late so never got DIL I’m thinking of getting him and putting him with jade lol
I pulled e0s1 boothill when he released and screwed myself out of Firefly so Rappa is my chance to fulfill my multi target break needs. Hopefully we get more info about the new tingyun around rappa's release so we get a better idea about how the meta is going to shift. I just hope it isn't another lingsha/Gallagher situation where tingyun is basically a 1 to 1 marginal increase over harmony trailblazer
I never needed a Jade, I definitely won't need a Rappa. Herta still doing great in PF. I have Himeko built but I find solo Herta easier to 40k. How about second team? Acheron, JQ easiest 40k on auto.
You know what... I don't find any endgame challenges hard anymore... I have so many well built units now... That I can just auto everything up and don't even have to think about it... HSR IS EASY
I feel bad for ppl that say erudition is bad and still struggle to clear pf 🗣️ Rappa is Def low value but more ppl should've pulled jade. Now rappa is looking like a more tempting offer to those that can't clear pf
Jade doesn't depend from super break teams, and having quantum element is a great advantage, because she can bypass shields elements. If you have robin, jade becomes a force of nature. Rappa could have been better if she had weakness implant. Originally rappa was created for pure fiction, like jade or Argenti, but Devs wanted a flexible break dps. Of course they had to mess things up and now she's decent dps but not the best. Firefly and boothil are still the best for break archetype. Ironically lingsha and Gallagher are great in pure fiction and they weren't even designed for that. With a crit build lingsha can be a substitute for himeko (if you don't have her yet). Anyway, save or skip, the choice is yours.
Im torn because at the beginning of the game I decided to get every imaginary character. And so far its been a great idea and I've loved every single one so far. But Rappa just does not do it for me. A rapping ninja concept is kinda eh for me and shes yet another female character that doesn't know the existence of trousers. Her animations look cooler than I thought they would and I love the break meta. But I'm still just not excited. And especially since Robin took nearly 180 pulls to come home and I'm broke on passes I'm not hyped about even trying to get her. Especially with potential future characters. Why why why couldn't Screwllum be the imaginary erudition character he's right there HOYO PLS
If she came out pre-Acheron, Firefly and Feixiao then she'd look pretty good... Unfortunately that's not the case. The dps role has been so disgustingly powercrept that while I'm sure she'll "function" just fine, she's also painfully unimpressive... And as a Breaker she'll also step on Firefly's toes when it comes to assigning supports, which isn't a good strategy for success.

She is not a bad character and feel like she will get better overtime, my problem is she raps during battle.. i don't want her to override my honkai star music because that be banging fr especially boss battles so i am good.. if she didn't rap i would had pulled and yes i have robin and hate her singing and only use her sometimes if i can get away from using her i will but her ultimate is just too damn good..
I'm supportive of just getting Eidolons for strong characters and make them work on PF. Feixiao E2, Firefly E2, Acheron E2, all of them can reach 30-35k or even full clear with little difficulty, on top of clearing everything else. PF specialists are at the bottom of priority on my pull list. I only pulled Argenti because I think he's cool.
also acheron in pf doesnt even need to make full use of her 2x nihility passive as well since her dmg is soo high she just blows up entire waves anyways where having an advance or generalist harmony just does more
@@Not_SARU True. Hoyo needs to make PF challenging enough to be on par with the other modes. You really don't need 2 PF specialists at this point in the game.
@@Pilques personally speaking im fine with the current state needing jiaoqui to optimize Acheron for PF given his limited utility use aside of Acheron teams is fine as as is and Himeko for the HimeHerta core also isnt guaranteed. Himeherta being plenty strong is still very nice for f2p players. PF specialists like Jade or Rappa just have exceptionally low value for anything but PF. Rappa can do well into an imginary weak MoC but if the lineup isnt catering towards her as much anymore she will definetly fall off compared to the other non PF mainstays esp going forward On top that enemies like Hoolay 100% prove you need to stay om top of your game for MoC where wasting jades to get an unnessescary PF specalilist instead of a mainstay support/Dps can hurt you more in the long run
They massacred her so much in the beta but I'm still going for my girl because she's so cool and her animations are sick I'm personally going to use her as a sub dps for my boothill, because galaxy ranger duo (and I'm hoping and praying the two have interactions in 2.6 or at least have voicelines about each other, I need my silly duo hoyo!!!) Like who doesn't love the idea of a cyberpunk ninja and cyborg cowboy working together
Most of those earlier showcases also included Rappa's passive which did break dmg when other characters broke, so Lingsha's dmg included some of Rappa's dmg too.
Beside from her cool design, her kit is kinda.. meh for me. I got FF E2S1 and destroy everything in every contents, Herta + Himeko are queens of PF and Archeron / DoT team are standing by. So, big big skip for me
Like she is good in PF but if you really want help in that mode... just pull jade she is the best character in PF and rappa she is just... not even close be as good as her and also she is the worst break dps in the game and to be honest such a good desind and animations for this character to be one if not the worst limited 5 star
Still gonna pull for her despite the treatment she got in v3 and v4. She's just so cool to me and I'm at the stage where I can just chill in HSR. Also, I think rappa is more of a sub-dps than a main dps. Her talent relies on enemies having their weakness broken, and who can break enemies very quickly? There are a lot, but right now Firefly is the most consistent and universal. Unfortunately, Rappa doesn't really have a spot in a Firefly team atm unless you're gonna replace Gallagher/Lingsha with Rappa, but I had a feeling it could still work since Firefly already has self-healing abilities. Then again, Firefly is also already self-sufficient when it comes to breaking enemies so it all comes down to whether you want to try and make Rappa work (with the risk of wasting your mats over nothing) or not.
@@ShoXpress still, this would really hurt her as much as, if not even more than it did to Jiaoqiu, who's considered a 5-star Guinaifen/Pela even until today despite being close to Ruan Mei and Robin's level as a support because there aren't a lot of Ult-focused DPS other than Argenti, Yunli and especially Acheron, or Topaz, who was considered mid prior to the release of Dr. Ratio and the Grand Duke set (which is around the time when Topaz's potential skyrocketed) since there's no other FuA centric Hunt DPS than Topaz back then.
Agree. She is sub-DPS, but not for Firefly.. She is for Boothill who finds it difficult to fight against non-physical-weak mobs, and likes it when opponent's recovery is delayed so he could have more time breaking broken enemies. I have speedy Boothill (177 SPD), and I need more DPS. Gotta get Rappa for Dual-carry with Boothill.
Minute Acheron gets her Eidolons, it’s over, she can literally deal over 2M damage even without a premium team which is bonkers to me. Like who thought to make her broken with her eidolons, literally e6 is her true lore form 😭
