Otis record for me. Glad you finally found The Jesus and Mary Chain. I have been a fan of them since high school when I first heard Psychocandy. Darklands is still my favorite from them with Automatic a close second. All their catalog is great and they still tour. So go out and see them if you can.
I'll tell you Chris every time you bring up the Record Pi it makes me feel good because I bought one because you highly recommended it. It works every time. I don't return warped records anymore. It would be nice to add The Doors to my collection. Thanks again for the great video.
You always have the best videos Chris. Thank you so much for the opportunity you’re giving us all. If I’m lucky enough to win, I’d choose the Doors LP Keep doing what you’re doing brother, you’re awesome!!!!
I have done this a bunch, found a great band that I somehow missed when they were more "at their peak". Sitting there thinking "how??" Glad you found TJMC! If I were to choose, I guess it would be the Otis Redding, LP.
The Doors. The Doors went to superstars in 1968 while my older brother was serving in the army stationed at Colorado Springs. He was lucky to be there as part of the security detail for the Doors.
Another valuable lesson on album purchases. Thank you Chris! I do have a question though….I wanted to buy one of those cork platter mats and they were no longer available on your website. Did you sell out or was there a problem with them?
Cheers to Rhino for using Third Man for their pressings. Like Pallas in Germany, they set the standard. And BTW, I'd love to win the Otis Redding album.
It looks like you have a Ortofon Quintet Black. Is that correct? How do you like it? Thinking of upgrading from my current Sumiko Blue point no. 2. Using an Oracle Delphi turntable with a Sumiko tonearm (circa late 80’s). Any thoughts? Love your channel.
