Great scissors. Have been the standard in Europe for ages and also marketed by Marc Petitjean (responsible for bringing CDC to the wider public) under his own moniker.

I’ll add to your list, the scissor finger openings are also vastly important to some of us, so five areas of concern. For example, I’m missing a finger due to a combat injury, and I can actually still use the renamed scissor quite easily with my clunky sausage fingers, although fewer of them. I own several of the reviewed brands personally and find myself with Renamed scissors in my “let me get it with my good hand” more often than not. I’ve only found one pair of scissors that I like equally as well as far as blade thickness, sharpness, and durability and that’s the Kopter brand, however, I really struggle to get my fingers in them even when not stored flat on the tying surface and that’s not a good thing. Unfortunately, for such a high quality pair of scissors, the finger openings are just a bit on the petite size for me, so point Renamed. Great and honest review, that although some people may say is a sales pitch, and even though you own a storefront, I know you are being truthful. I know you are passionate about our sport, anal retentive when it comes to your flies (as we all should be), and honestly trying to educate and pass on knowledge to others and the next generation that will replace us some day. Well done, solid assessment!

Gotta say, I have these and anadromous scissors and the anadromous are better and half the price. Can’t say enough nice things about em

All scissors are sharp when they are new. Question is do they stay sharp. That depends on what you are cutting. I have had a pair for quite some time. To me the finger holes are too small.

+1 for how many times he almost said "shizzer." Because I still can't say "sharp scissors" without saying "sharp shizzers"

Fiskars Black Label tuned on my surface grinder. As a machinist, I can say that their steel is vastly superior to Renomed, Kopter, and Dr. Slick. $20/pair, last a very long time.
