Thank you so much for all the subs lately guys! We're on the road to 2k subs right now, so I really appreciate all the support! I'll be sure to keep you up to date on all the Persona news.
Saying that they want to "recreate the orginal Persona 3 experience simply sounds like a lazy excuse. We all know that P3FES and P3P improved the game a lot, this remake is just a makeover.
Wouldn't mind not having FeMC if the alternative is to give these guys social links. It's a damn shame to see the remake go backwards, not forwards. I know they aren't including the Answer, but I would have at least thought they would have tried to reintroduce half of your party's social links lmao
@@Emerald_Forge what? I never asked for femc to be added, just that it's a bit weird that a remake wouldn't feature social links that pertain to important party members.
@@moraiteru You're misinterpreting my comment, what I'm trying to say is that trade is very unrealistic because IF they suddenly change their mind and we get femc we'd almost certainly get male social links.
The whole reason we even wanted a remake was to combine the content of FES and Portable and now we get none of that. This has to be to make player double dip when they release persona 3 reload deluxe edition. Kinda scummy but it makes Atlus money so good for them
@@100dayGamer not for me I wanted a remake because I wanted them to fix what fes did not have Like the social links And Tartarus And the graphics I could care less about femc I like the male protagonist a lot more He’s original after all and he fits with the game a lot better
Honestly i think it'd be cool if they just added everything from all the P3 games they made over time into this remake, make it the ultimate P3 game. As well as include mechanics from P4 and P5. Battle mechanics and all party member social links. I'm pretty sure so many people in fandom would love that! The Awakening and FeMC could be DLC, while everything else would be main game stuff. That would be the ultimate P3 game! Don't get me wrong, i'm still gonna play it regardless of having all that, but i'm just saying that would be the better move to make. This game deserves as much love as P4 and P5, so far i feel like they're milking P5 content, way too games for.
@@Kekorock1 not baton pass exactly but all the modern persona games have a mechanic where party members get abilities the more you upgrade the party members social link so i feel like itll be weird to not include that in a modernized remake
I sadly dont think so, because it is probably going to keep al the mechanics and game system from original P3 according to what they said in the announcment. Only change will be that all party members will be finally playable I suppose.
Spoiler Theodore will be in the remake btw he's a cannon unlike the femc she's not some said Theo and Elizabeth will have a similar role just like Justine and Caroline
if they are bringing the gameplay in line with 4 and 5, its reasonable to assume that party members will unlock special combat abilities from their social link ranks, like protecting the protagonist, or helping dizzy teammates. this wouldn't be possible without male social links, though they may make them unlockable through these extra events that have been mentioned.
I hope in this remake you can actually friendzone a girl, because my biggest complaint about persona 3 fes every time do a social link with another girl the other girl finds out do you have a relationship with that other person and then your social link is broken 😑
I would love or Junpei to finally get the recognition he deserves, not form the player but from the other characters. He is underused in the story mode too mcuh considering he is around from the very beginning.
Ngl I hope we can get something similar to Picaro versions for P3, I wanna see a Blue Arsene and a Blue Izanagi styled after the Gekkoukan High School uniform
I actually wanted all the party members to have a social link because it’s a way to bond with them personally and it can make the members grow together with the MC and rely with each other sadly it won’t happen and that’s a big downfall for me wish atlus can do something about it….
I remember thinking "oh boy, cant wait for the part about Akihiko and Shinji' past, its gonna be lots of drama!" but they never really opened up to Minato/MC :( At least you get to know them...if you are a girl, which I am, but in a portable version with not so good graphics.
Including the answer probably involved more work than they were prepared to do but there's always a chance they could have it as dlc at a later date. As for the male sees they could include most of their dialogue from p3p social links but it means animating whole new scenes which I doubt they'd do. Again, there's always hope though.
Seeing as TA is a Aigis-centric chapter and lacking the SL mechanics, why not remake Aigis: The First Mission as well and pair it with a hypothetical The Answer Remake? Not only would it beef up the DLC by including the mobile prequel to P3 but it would also give players an opportunity to play The First Mission on a current day system and it would make for a good thematic package from seeing Aigis begin as a brand new combat unit to one able to bear the Wild Card.
@@rayvenkman2087yup. This is, imo, the best way to implement The Answer portion of the game. The First Mission + The Answer would be a whole new game experience with Aigis as the MC. Very fitting.
@@qyaruddick Plus it’d be a way to sell a Aigis-dedicated DLC by including both and tying them into each other. Maybe have First Mission be something of an extended prologue to The Answer.
I think they will get their own social links, and if this game is updating the original to P5 standards, we should be seeing social links that impact battles and dungeons in the very least, which means every character needs one to improve their battle support.
I was thinking about this earlier today. They’ll probably keep stuff like the male characters limited to the special events. Would probably result in arcana overload if they all had links in addition to the base ones; on one hand that’d mean lots of potential link bonuses if they bring that back from 4G & 5, but on the other it’d definitely have a noticeable affect on fusion.
Junpei has always been a bro despite not having a social link. I'm not saying he and the other male characters shouldn't have a social links but if a character is well written and given proper screen time, the need for a social link becomes irrelevant. I never felt Junpei, Shinji, Akihiko or Ken's scenes (which were plentiful and well detailed) were any less impactful because they didn't have social links. Another thing to keep in mind is Atlus said this remake of P3 would have more dialogue than almost every other persona game only being rivaled by P5. I can't imagine them not dedicating that dialogue to the characters that didn't get social links or to the characters that needed more character development like strega and the members of the kirijo group.
Him being a bro (which he totally is) doesnt make him a developed character, at least not when compared to his peers in SEES. He literaly has no background.
@@betoperez7079 he doesn't need a background, thats the point of his character. his character is he's suppose to be a normal everyday person that just so happened to have the gift. throughout his story he even struggles with the fact that he doesnt have a reason to fight unlike the other characters that do, which is why he beefs with the MC and lies to impress chidori by acting like a big shot. eventually comes clean to her that he lacks a reason to fight and chidori helps him realize that his reason to fight is to protect others. his character not having a background is intentional and an important part of his character development.
