I was 15 when I became pregnant with my first and I was expecting it to be VERY challenging especially due to other circumstances but she was the most chill, sweetest baby girl. She didn't even make a peep let alone cry when she entered this world. At 3 weeks she began sleeping from 10pm to 5am! She NEVER had a fit during her toddler years. Was just a go with the flow bundle of complete Joy. This year I turned 45 and My little bundle is turning 30 this Month. Looking back not only did I raise her she helped raise me💜
Just wanted to say, I started following you because of the fitness content, but seeing your family grow it feels like we are part of it and I look forward to your videos regardless of whether they are about the fam or training. Love every video so much because no matter the content they make me feel happy! ❤️
Foxy at the animal park was so cute and it shows how awesome you and Kurt are with foxes positive attitude and encouragement of you. You’re all so cute 🥰
I am currently binge watching all your old videos again and to see how far you've come from 6 years ago is the most motivating thing ever!! Thank you Sarah for always making my day!!
To everyone who reads this comment. Please pray for Sri Lanka!!🙏🙏 My country is going through terrible times and we need people to know about what's going on! Thank you! ❤ ❤
I love how in every video Sarah goes "i don't want to make this a family channel" and 99% of us are here like no, please show me your kids MORE hahaha. Every video I get so excited to see Fox say new things, melts my heart
I can’t believe how Fox looks like such a big boy with his haircut, also his hair is nearly brown! My hair was like that too, I cut off all my natural blonde ends and now it’s a mousey brown lol.
I love when Kurt said the book is setting up false expectations! I feel like there’s so much pressure on having a newborn on a sleep schedule when they are meant to wake throughout the night!
This 👏🏻👏🏻 my daughter is 20 weeks and started sleeping through for the past 5/6 weeks, no schedule she got herself in a schedule I just went with the flow and followed her lead. She now goes to sleep at 7/8pm and sleeps until 7am!
The fact you gave birth 6 weeks ago and not only look amazing and can fit into a bikini but a white bikini after 6 weeks? Wow I’m so jealous. I bled for about 12 weeks after my second baby. In all seriousness you look amazing, happy and confident. X
sarah: “staying in a small villa” me: SMALL😭😭😭it’s huge😭😭 you guys make me so happy you’r family is so beautiful and i can’t wait to see how malakia grows up, foxy is amazing 🥰❤️
So you know there are several croc farms around the area, one for skins for Louis Vutton and a few for meat that I know of…some of these farms are on the tablelands (up the mountains) so it always niggles in the back of your mind that a few eggs washed away and hatched and could be hiding in dams or creeks spots…. Amazing animals and such a great way to see them at Hartleys… so glad you got sunshine because it has just rained here for about 2 months straight in the depths of the wet season
As a Port Douglas local I hate to tell you this but Hartleys is indeed a farm where they breed crocs for skin and meat…. They also have the sanctuary side and attractions etc but your memories may not be completely inaccurate. They used to include a lot more info in their tours about the breeding process etc but they don’t anymore.
@@SarahsDay Yep you’re definitely not crazy! They have a little bit of info on their website about it but other than that they don’t tend to advertise the breeding side as much. They do a lot for sustainability and rehabilitation as well, I guess there is good and bad in everything. But I’m glad you enjoyed your visit up north!
My mum of 7 had every single one of us sleeping through the night by 3 months, I was 6 weeks. She absolutely swears by expressing your morning milk and using that as the night feed as its really thick and hearty so less likely to wake throughout the night hungry :)
Feels so special to be “a part of your family”. I was struggling making a family of my own when I found your channel and you and you’re family have helped me so much. Thank you for always and ever for that
Hey Sezzy! I worked at a crocodile park in Cairns. I just wanted to tell you that you weren't imagining it as a child. A farm is exactly what you thought it was. The crocodiles are bred for their skin and meat. Hartley's is one of these places. They have the sanctuary side for the visitors (Hartley's Crocodile Adventures) and they also have a farm behind the scenes as well where the crocodiles are bred and killed (Hartley's Creek Farm) - you may have noticed they sell crocodile burgers and also crocodile leather items in the gift shop - this is all from their farm. Its a different company but it's owned by the same people. You just might not have done the farm tour when you were there this time - not even sure if they still do it. Just wanted to let you know that you weren't crazy and imagining it because it's definitely real. There is a section about it on their website as well X Love your videos and so glad you enjoyed your time in our beautiful part of the world 🥰❤️
Literally the only people I look forward to watch, love your whole family, fox is just the cutest toddler ever , I’ve been watching since just before you told Kurt that you were pregnant with fox it’s so sweet to see how much you all have changed and now your married with 2 kids it’s so sweet xx also I’m from Australia in Perth xx
Can I just say…I genuinely enjoy watching your family vlogs! I don’t really watch many other vlogs besides yours!! Love your family and you guys are just so much fun! You guys are goals :)
Sleep is very much a developmental thing, they sleep longer when they are ready to. My 18 month old woke every 3hrs until he was 1, then he suddenly started sleeping through the night. These nights are challenging, but frequently waking is a protective mechanism against SIDS 💜
Just thinking how is 2016 you were heartbroken and now you are living your best life with a super nice husband and 2 beautiful children gave me hope that is does get better and what is meant to be will come your way! ❤️ you are an great role model and girl boss. ❤️❤️
Foxy is so intelligent!!! Would love a parenting video where you talk about any practices you specifically implement but I know ur also the coolest mum naturally so 🥹
I love foxy 🥺he's such an adventurous boy. It's the most sweetest thing to watch him grow. Thank you Sarah for allowing us to be a part of your family journey 💖💖
Hartley’s does do crocodile farming so you actually remembered it right! One of their tours you can go on actually talks all about the farming and how they liken it to cattle farming. They aren’t legally allowed to leave crocodile eggs when they are laid around the park. So they remove them, but felt it to be a waste to throw them out and destroy them. Towards the back of the park is the farm area which they take you on a tour of if you go to one of the sessions during the day and you see it. They use almost every part of the crocodile in some way, either for meat or for bags and belts etc.
I live in PD - this croc farm is like this at the front but they do have a “farm type” out the back wishing they show sometimes. And there are HEAPS of baby croc jammed into small concrete enclosures with tarp on the floor that they slide around on. And they put them in big concrete looking water tanks in the dark so they grow faster - kinda sad !
I have done “the babywise way” with all three of my babies and they have all slept through the night very early. My baby boy is 8 weeks old right now and sleeps 7 or 8 hours every night! Love that book! Stick it out and create the schedule! It is so worth it☺️
Cairns local Sezza and we used to have a croc farm in Cairns and it had a tour attached. Not Hartleys Creek, that is a sanctuary and is awesome. The croc farm in Cairns inlet, were the crocs that would get sent away I'm sure it's still there and up for sale currently. You may have heard about this place while you were at Hartleys and that's were your lines got mixed
Love the video, but I live in Port Douglas and the crocodile farm you went to is actually like chicken run, they have a seperate part for it out the back where they’re farmed for skin/meat, etc, so maybe that’s what you’re remembering from your childhood! 😃
Fox calling everyone and everything his best friend is sooooo freaking cute! I love watching him discover everything and being so adventurous. I can't wait to see Malakai at his age and he himself will be 6 and they'll be running around together, being best friends!
If that is Hartleys in Port Douglas there is absolutely a crocodile farm there. You must of not gone to that section of the zoo this time but you did when you were younger. They do multiple daily talks there and they do breed for the crocodile skin. It looks like human sized swimming pools with no water for about 100 crocodiles in each pool (over 10 pools). We sadly went last year and did not know that is what we were supporting. It made me think of tiger king but crocodiles.
I’m not a mom but I am kind of getting back into working out so it’ll be so fun getting back into it at the same time as you! I think I’m gonna start sweat it to shred it this week! I want to add weight lifting I think as well but we’ll see lol the alligator farm thing had me cracking up 😂 and Fox with the kangaroos was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen and him saying “be brave” 🥹❤️ that was adorable lol
☺️Y’all are such a blessing to each other and the world. How you keep so upbeat even when things may not be great somehow you manage to keep the faith and smiles is amazing. ❤️❤️ Thanks for your continuing inspiration to all us mommas. Blessings, Linda
You were right! The crocodile farm pits are out the back part of the zoo. You can also go and visit that part of the zoo. That's where they breed the crocs for meat and leather products.
This family vlog may be my favorite video on the internet like foxys excitement for everything makes me so happy! I love the family content so much!!!!!
My kids started sleeping longer stretches (5/6 hours) from about 7 or 8 weeks. They were sleeping through the night within 2 or 3 weeks, they would stretch longer and longer as the days went. But then at 4/5 months they hit their sleep regression and everything changed 🥴
Omg Fox is just the cutest!!! I love all the lil one liners he says 🤣 I’m taking my 2.5yo to Cairns later in the year .. would you recommend the waterfall? Was it easy enough/ not too far for Fox to walk himself?
CRYING with laughter at Fox with the kangaroos 😂 Kids are so funny how they’re super fearless & dive in head first & then go oh shit I’ve taken it too far help 😂👏🏽
It is chicken run! The farm part is out the back! It’s to preserve population and prevent poaching! But the sanctuary part is nice! Not so pleasant but good for the population 🐊
Sooo, with the Crocodile park - you’re right about both! There’s a sanctuary side and also there’s a farming side. They do farm the crocs for meat and skin but it’s don humanely to protect croc in the wild
“I didn’t want this to be a family channel but this is my life” 😂😂😂 mannnn holidays with kids are so unpredictable you just have to take it day by day depending how the kids go and have literally no expectations. I love Port Douglas I’ve been there twice, second time was my baby moon it’s sooo nice there, was cool watching all the places I’ve been before. Good advert for Australia too 💦☀️🌤 omg fox ‘YEAH THE BOYZZZZ’ sooo cute and the ‘you need to wear bougie clothes’ that is hilarious. LOVES IT! 🤍🖤🤍
As a local can confirm Hartley’s Crocodile offer tours of the farm where they actually breed them for skin & meat on the other side of the park🐊🐊 maybe it was not in your dreams after all....
I’ve been to that crocodile farm! You’re not crazy - they have a section that’s in a farm facility! It’s off to the side and they have tons of signs for it but it’s separate from the sanctuary.
Thank you Kurt! What you said it's completely true! It's not realistic to think a baby that small can sleep that long for most people! Nobody should feel pressured for their baby to sleep X number of hours! Just take it easy and remember it'll get better! Don't pressure yourself, you're doing great and you know your baby best! Don't let anyone pressure you into something you feel it's not right for your child! We have to break these stereotypes that put extra pressure on new moms
I am also reading the same book. I will tell you I tried this technique with my first one and it didn't work she started going down and sleeping all the way through the night on her own at 3 months. I now have another baby 6 weeks old. She has been sleeping through the night for 2 weeks now. This book can and does work maybe not for every situation but I can attest to it that it does work. Also my second one wouldn't sleep either during the day until I started swaddling her for every sleep every nap and at night. Hope this helps and good luck! Love your content.
Foxy is just SO grown up now and it is the cutest thing 😍 it’s gonna be so sweet to watch malakai grow up and see how him and fox are going to be! Glad you guys had a fun trip! 💕💕💕
Sezzy! Even if your channel became a “family channel” we would absolutely STILL love it!! From the start you’ve wanted to heal your gut and body and even at one point didn’t think you’d be able to have a family. It’s all connected and it has come full circle! How amazing is that?! And YOU did that. You’re amazing girl, I love your channel!!
is it me or has Fox all of a sudden become crazy grown up in everyway, such a little champ his personality is a vibe!!!! hope u enjoyed your family of 4 holiday xxxxxx
1000009%!!!!! Recommend the BABYWISE book!!!! Well, the main point is to give the baby a full solid feed so that they can get a full and solid sleep. It prevents them from waking up prematurely just from being hungry. Sometimes a bit of comping is required, but it really helps them as well as you are gifting them sleep.
Loved it! I was smiling the entire time! I've totally "remembered" things from my childhood only to discover it was all the dream. LOL! Share whatever you want Sez...we are here for it! Loved your vlogs before the boyz and love them now. Foxy is so sweet and funny! "Be brave mom!"
I love this video! Travel videos are my favorite and there’s nothing wrong with having some family vlogs and some just for you. Fox is an incredible kid. He’s so sweet & smart!
I followed babywise for my first baby! It was a great guide but obviously tweak it for your child. I think that’s why she’s a great sleeper. I just had my second baby and plan to do the same thing.
There is a croc farm exactly how your describing in Cairns!! And you see all the babies who have been bred climbing on top of each other in concrete yards. But Hartleys is the best! And nothing like this. Glad you enjoyed it in FNQ 🙏🏽💗
I just have to say that Hartleys (the animal zoo) that you went to, does have a crocodile farm. It’s a seperate tour. And yes they do breed specifically for skins and meat which is very common in Qld and Nt 👍🏻
I have been watching you since your previous relationship. I can’t say enough how happy I am for you with this life you have created. Your boys are absolutely beautiful and mum life looks so good on you ❤️
Totally agree with Kurt, that book doesn’t sound realistic in relation to baby sleep at all! Could lead to a lot of stress if your baby isn’t doing what they’re ‘supposed to’. My almost two year old has never slept 7 hours without waking me.
