We were on Carnival Paradise January 2023 and had a wonderful time. The ONLY drawback was the buffet. The food was pretty bad including the desserts. The cakes were stale. The MDR was great and the crew was fantastic! You'll have a great time. God bless. Jim and Marsha - Kokomo, Indiana
I sail Paradise a couple times a year as we live in Tampa Bay and love the long weekend cruise. She is a small but mighty ship. As much as I like longer cruises this is just perfect for needing that getaway. Always things to do in Cozumel. The size of the comedy room impresses me. The food normally fairly good, great room stewards. Always had a pretty good Fun Squad.

Have Fun, I am taking my Mom on the Paradise the end of June for her 80th birthday. Picked a smaller ship to save her the walking. Can't wait to try the New Emeril dishes .I have not been on a cruise in Years.
Heck ya I've been on her 3 times ...your right she is small but I always have a good time on her ... hopefully you will as well❤do valet parking 👍🏽well worth it...
We like the smaller ships as it reminds of when we first started cruising. Going out of Tampa, it takes FOREVER to get to international waters - so keep that in mind. It is cool to go under the bridge so make sure you catch that.
Never have been on the Carnival Paradise. Never sailed out of Tampa. Our first cruise was a four day cruise. We went on the new Carnival Triumph in it's inaugural season. Play in the casino. I usually have a glass of wine with a meal. When they offer me a drink in the casino I usually have water. Never been to Cozumel. Like to eat in the MDR. Like the smaller ships better. The Magic is a Dream Class ship and they are pretty large. Like the Vista Class ships even if they are larger.
I was on the Paradise twice. It's a beautiful ship . No need for all the specialty dining restaurants that modern-day ships have. 😢Enjoy your upcoming cruise. If you want extra activities precruise or postcruise the Florida Aquarium is very close by the port. Also the port terminal is hassle free.
