As a mom that nursed all 5 kids, including twins, you do not have to stop nursing, and I was told this by my lactation specialist. It is all about preference and what makes mom comfortable.
I wanted to keep nursing until my son turned 2 years old, but unfortunately my milk supply decreased drastically at 9M (was producing 5oz and it cut down to 2oz) i did everything i could to keep my son breastfeeding up until 13M. I'm grateful for the experience even though breastfeeding wasn't an easy journey for me.
I breastfed my first born till she was 14 months. It was harder for me to stop breastfeeding her than it was for her. Such a special time. Unfortunately with my other two daughters I couldn’t produce enough so I had to go to formula after a few weeks.
Yes, a part 2 would be nice. Also, I agree with Kam. I got all (4) of my daughters' ears pierced at three months. You don't want her to be six months because by then she will definitely be old enough to tug at her ears and possibly hurt herself.
I got my daughters ear done at 3months! & it was super smooth and healing process was great! I feel like the longer you wait the more bothered she’ll be by them getting pierced. I love y’all though absolutely made one beautiful baby girl! 🫶🏻& I can’t wait to see the vlogs on house hunting! 😊
The sooner the better so she doesn’t bother them. Had both of our daughters done after their first set of shots. Best decision we ever made. They were healed before they even realized they had plus earrings r so cute on them
I’m just in aweee of how much y’all have grown over the years. !!! I love you and your family so much 🩷 seeing y’all from prom to now is so beautiful ❤️
Yess!! I remember that video and Kam complained about having to work the next morning but still making the best of the night for Tricia. To watch them now as parents looking to buy their first house is awesome to see. I had a similar upbringing to Kam so it’s heartwarming to see him and Tricia achieving the things they’ve dreamed of.
Got my daughters at 5 months (11 years ago)… it was the best decision! She barely cried- her aunt went with me to help. She’s now afraid of pain (she’s sensitive to it because of a condition she has) and wouldn’t probably get them done if she had a choice so she herself is thankful she doesn’t remember and they’re already done! She never tugged or we never had issues and they stayed in for the longest before I ever changed them out. Like a couple years lol. ❤
Her eyes are beautiful! Im 7 months next Wednesday and I’m having a biracial girl and seeing her beautiful eyes literally brought tears to my eyes and made me emotional
You two are doing amazing job being a parent for the first times. Kylah is a beautiful baby girl and she is growing up so much in a years just about. She is so lucky to have you as her parents. Ever time you all come on here to share things with friends. We want to thank you for sharing your experience with your daughter. Just enjoyed every minute with your daughter while she is little girl. Time will tell when you two another baby again. ❤️
Part 2 would be amazing. You both are doing such a great job as parents. Kylah is so beautiful. I am so honored and want to say thank you for allowing me to follow your journey. Kam you are such a sweet and loveable husband, Tricia I had waited 11 years to get my daughters ears pierced, so I say do it when both of you guys are ready I don't think there is a typical age, I have heard it's easier when they are younger. Either way i think its a parents preference. ❤❤
I got my daughter’s ears pierced when she was 3 months. Very smooth process. It didn’t even seem like she was bothered after a couple hours. The longer you wait, the harder it is(imo) because then she’s becoming more intentional with her movements and will definitely tug on her ears once she feels something different.
Definitely the only ones i watch on a regular basis. And look forward too seeing new videos. Love them. They are wonderful parents and I love who they are as individuals and as a couple.
Definitely Kameron ! ! ! I Agree With You 100%. Take Your Time ! ! ! Get Married On Your Own Timing ! ! ! Do Not Let Anyone Rush And Push You ! ! ! It Is Your Life Long Decision ! ! !
Love this video. Well answered. Kylah is changing so much, looks more like Kam in this video and her hair is even curly. You are a lovely couple and well suited to each other, dont change, your love together is adorable 🎉🎉❤. Good luck with your next chapter, housing buying. Look forward to your next video. Kam really is a doting Daddyxx❤
This couple and family is never tiring to watch, you guys are such good people honestly i feel blessed to have the oppertunety to following your beautiful family ❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🥰
I, too, like when Kam’s hair is off his face. He looks handsome. Tricia, as i told you before, you were meant to be a Mother. You are a wonderful mother to beautiful Kylah. Beautiful family!
You can breastfeed while you are pregnant and even after baby gets here. It's called tandem feeding. You should look into it. When breastfeeding while pregnant and after it is a great way for you and both babies to bond. Not only are you bonding with both of your babies but they would also be bonding as siblings and they would have a stronger bond. This is coming from a mother with 7 children.😂😂 You guys are a beautiful family and may God bless you and your family.
I’m a medical assistant at a pediatric office and we start piercing at 2 months old, I would do it just to get it over with trust me you won’t regret it! Just make sure to follow the aftercare routine and she’ll be good after a few days! ❤❤
You guys are such good and sweet parents and I love seeing you both with Kayla. She is so beautiful and I know you both are proud of her. I enjoy your videos and look forward to more. God bless your sweet family.
I've always gave so much respect for Kam for seeing how much woman are warriors it's truly amazing that he sees how hard the babies take a toll on our health mental health and just makes us a certified G always lmao 😂❤ but i love yall so much and love watching kylah in this video she has gotten so big ❤❤
Trica this is the perfect time to get Kayla’s ears pierced.. I did both of my daughters at 3 months.. I feel like if u do it when she’s older there’s a chance she may pull on them.. Love you guys 💜
I'm sure someone else has mentioned this by now but no need to worry it is perfectly safe to breastfeed while pregnant. And I can so relate to those shower cries. Just make sure your not hiding your feeling in there. My shower cries usually had a reason behind them. Extreme exhaustion and fatigue was the top on my list. Don't ever feel like what you may be feeling is wrong. Our minds and bodies are amazing and very powerful, giving birth put everything in your body on a crazy whirlwind. There are some amazing mommy groups on FB that make you feel so well understood. It feels good to hear others say exactly what you are thinking. OK I'm done, sorry for the long comment. Love you guys.
I came here for the second time just to watch how beautiful the baby is.❤ Kam is quick to talk about baby number two but does not want engagement questions. Trisha is tired of waiting too Talking about the finger getting dusty.😆
You don't have to stop nursing if you get pregnant! I nursed through two pregnancies and until all my littles were around 4. Obviously that long is not for everyone, but you should do whatever feels comfy for you.
I loved how you guys answered these questions and tried to get as detailed as possible and you guys kept things honest and realistic when you answered. I got my ears pierced when I was 10 months old. I think it honestly just depends on the parents and when they feel most comfortable with it. Love you guys ❤
In Nigeria, the nurses help pierce the ear if the parents are ready and most times they are . The babies don't feel the pain at that time since their ears are still very soft. The longer the wait , the longer the ears are less soft .
Dear Tricia and kam i think that u guys must spend time with baby kylah enjoy her first before having a new baby but also a baby is a beautiful blessing from God ❤❤i love all of you..hey baby kylah 😊😊
For my sister, her baby’s ear was pierced after they gave birth to her.. and it’s cos the babies have very soft skin that time and they won’t feel pain unlike when they are older.. Most people in Nigeria here do it immediately they are born
Right now would be a good time to get her ears pierced because as she gets older, she's going to start exploring her ears, more, her hair, her nose, etc. so if you do it right now and let her get used to them being there she won't mess with them as much as she gets older, but don't rush it. Love you guys.❤
I highly suggest that you pierce her ears now! If your gonna do it cause my first daughter I waited till she was almost 6 months old and she was more aware of her ears so she pulled at her ears my second daughter got hers done at 3 months at it was a ease!!
Hi, I got my ears pierced when I was a baby at around 6 months but when I now (as a teen) went to get another piercing the piercing guy told me that its not recommended to pierce a baby and even young childs ears because theyre still growing and so if you pierce them as a baby at the middle of your ear lobe then as you grow the piercing hole shifts down (which is how mine is right now). Its not a health issue it just means that when she's older the piercing won't be in the normal place. Hope this helps! ❤
When is Kylah, going to meet Savior and Shine? I can’t wait. Stay Safe Happy and Healthy, much Love❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 wow, Kylah looks just like Kam. I pierced my baby girl’s ears at 3 months.
Honestly, it is recommended that you pierce her ears as soon as the pediatrician says you can. The reason is that the baby will not remember it, and the baby will be less likely to pull at their ears. She may be upset when it is done but will forget quickly. The longer you wait, the more likely what I mentioned will happen. Top tip from mom to mom, Tricia, have either Kam take her into the room to get it done and you walk away or if she has a godparent have them do it. I handed my baby over to my sister and I walked completely out of the room and doctor's office so I could not hear her cry. After a few minutes, my sister came out and handed me my very calm baby. She reported she was fine, she did cry but it was over quickly.
I've not watched the whole video yet but I'm just gonna say wait a few years before you have another baby let kylah have you to herself for a few years and you're in no rush anyway
If you're wanting her ears peirced before she 5, I'd say do it now. After she's 6 months it'll be harder to take care of them and keep her hands off. (My opinion) I got my daughters ears done at 3 months old and have no regrets. My son got his done at 7 years old and we kept forgetting to clean them twice a day and one got infected, we took them out. Then he wanted it done again. They're good now, but he was always touching them and who knows if he washed his hands before touching them.
Do it NOW...as she gets older it may be more challenging, n she might tug on it because she's more aware of something on her body. Love the vids keep them coming!!❤
Hey Tricia it's time to get her ears pierced. I understand your feelings about it hurting but it's best to do it now not when she gets older. I did my two girls at 4 months. Had no problems with infections or anything. Just follow the directions that they will give you .
Love y’all so much stay safe and stay healthy positive vibes Tricia and Kam TK family for life and baby Kylah love Coco and Chole and Sky much love ❤️ to y’all both u guys are the best RU-vid couples 💯
We asked our doctor when they would recommend and they told us 6 months. So that is what we are doing. Plus it’s half way to one so it’s a fun way to celebrate
I learn how to be with my partner now I learn so many things on you channel before my relationship near broke but through your videos I fix my relationship perfect thank you guys KYLAH we love you
I got my daughters ears pierced when she was 3 months old!! The younger the better cause they don’t pull on them 6 months she will be pulling on them, if you get them done at 3 months they will be fully healed by 6 months
Wow I’ve never seen Kay’s face lol lol it’s always covered up with his hair so I couldn’t really say the baby looked like him cuz I’ve never really seen his face until now. Handsome young man. And now I see it, Kylah is daddy’s twin all the was, it’s totally clear here. ❤
I agree, she should definitely be getting her ears pierced like now Tricia, so prepare yourself because she’s gonna look even more gorgeous than she already is😊.. just think of it as getting it out of the way lol 💎
My daughter will be 2 months on Saturday and she gets her shots next week. At first I was all for getting them right away but not that it’s almost time I think I have to wait a bit longer. My husband has always said not until 6 months. I think he’s winning this one.
