@@MikeW165 I just gave you reasons why the Roman Empire fell; Political corruption, the massive amount of slave labour under the empire, economic downfall with high taxes, inflation, etc, the massive amount of land they had control, which led to poor defence as they did not have the men nor resources to defend it all. It wasn’t one thing that caused the collapse of the Roman Empire, it was a combination of things that led to its collapse in totality

I know a man from Jordan that works at a computer repair shop. After years of trying to enter legaly and tired of waiting-He paid to be escorted across Our Southern Border. He said he was given a cell phone, a 4 digit permit number a plane ticket and an offer of Citizenship if he would commit to 3 years of Military Service. I found him to be extremely credible.

I served for five years back in the late 70s/early 80s and the only non citizens I saw in the Navy were Filipinos. Apparently we had an agreement to allow them to serve but only in certain support roles like supply, in the pay department, etc.

You still MUST have proper papers to be here to enlist. It's entirely fair to have a LEGAL immigrant who enlists in the military. They can earn their citizenship that way, but they will not be able to have certain security clearances until they have become a citizen.

When I joined the Military they contacted my friends and neighbors to verify I was legitimate. This is a slap in the face of every Active Duty member and Veteran in our Republic. I've never been more disappointed in my Country. This is a sad time in America.

In Roman history, they allowed Germanic tribesmen to join the Roman army (foederati) in a process historians call the "barbarization" of Rome's army. The problem was that such individuals were not loyal to Rome but only to their paycheck and as such were constantly undermining Rome's future. This was one of the primary reasons that Rome fell.
