Many of the times , greatness comes from pushing social norms and going out the box and sacrifices . Thank you for being very raw and honest with us . You are doing amazing Phuljung la
Like the way you answered all the questions. I guess about the gender issue, you have literally answered it in a beautiful way. Honest and true feeling just poured into. Good man
We tend to take wrong decisions in life that are not necessarily bad but just not right for us but that wrong decision will take us a long way to get where we are supposed to be. Your journey as being a monk has made you realize your own passion. That path might not be right for you but you walking on it has brought you where you are right now which is really inspiring and I support you for that. Also, I agree with your point about “gay” concept very much as I would agree with brushing teeth every morning. There is absolutely no shame in being a member of the LGBTQ 🏳️🌈 and although because they are the minorities in our community, that doesn’t make them any less of a different than other people who are recognized as something other than “gay”. You are doing a wonderful job by educating people the right way. Thank you and keep making videos...🤗
Keep it up bro and I don't think so that u should answer everything loo.. They are different person in those World.. Actually u know me better that... I love you as where you are bro... Keep going n keep rocking ✌
བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས་ Tenzin la! I've been learning Tibetan in the United States for some years and started studying conversational Tibetan recently. That's how I came upon your videos. Watching the videos on your channel and on Sonam Topden's channel makes me want to revisit India and Nepal soon. I especially want to travel to Dharamsala one day and see His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It was encouraging to hear your answer to the gay question. When no harm is done, why not respect each other's personal lives and lifestyles? Also, we can all do good in the world whether we are ordained or laypersons. I'm curious to hear more about your Buddhist studies and how that has impacted your life. Thanks for making this video!
Thank you for sharing so candidly. I often feel the Tibetan tradition of most monks being so from childhood is counterproductive and more of a socio-cultural tradition than anything based on Vinaya. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche a few years ago wrote something about the Tulku system in the modern world, it would be interesting to hear your views and experiences on this too. Stay safe.
Sangye Dorje from my point of view, human being comes first, then comes your titles and titles are not so important..... I read the essay written by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, I totally agree with his points.
Proud of you for your hardwork, positive attitude and humble nature, you will go far, Wish you the best, your answers are straight from heart 👍( maybe the music video Drogpo with Sonam Topden made other think you are gay 😃)
Always be happy....and keep making informative and good videos.....what ever world says...for me you are doing a beautiful job.....you are wonderful and beautiful person the way you are.🙏💛💛✌️🌼🌼🌼
Phuljung tu es le meilleur. it's mean u are the best.he has a positive attitude and he works really hard at everything.keep it up...👍 p.s. he is very much straight..😎
I think the most beautiful thing in human being is the mind and the heart's....and that 2 thing I have been seen in u sir.....😍😍that all we need to b......I wish u a lot of success in your life god bless 🙂

I fully understand that you said “ leaving the monk hood is the worst decision “ since joining monastery at such a young age, you form a familial relation with ones teachers and attendants ( since you are a rinpoche I assume you have one if not few ) and to leave monastic life is almost like betraying them and letting them down. One can be conflicted for the rest of life. One of the Nelson Mandala’s regret that comes out in his audio biography is that “ he didn’t bore the responsibility as the chief of his tribe as his father would like “ even though he became a world renowned leader later.
Tenzin Thinley sorry it’s not about betraying them-- it’s about following my heart and just being true to myself. Don’t want to end up life doing things which I don’t like. But they are always in my heart, include them in my prayers though we don’t talk no more since I left the monastery. Everything changed for a reasons and I must have to accept the consequences of my decision which lead to end up the relationship with my near and dear ones ( which I think they are not true my dear people and friends -- they tended to take care of my title the most rather than accepting me as a human being the first). Whatever, I am happy now and enjoying my path.
Haha I think people assume you as gay because you are very soft spoken and gentle by nature ..and don’t say leaving a robe is not not a worst decision honestly I have witnessed lot of people leaving monkhood because their parent’s decision by admitting them monastery at very young age .. what ever you do , do it with 💯 percent ..be compassionate in life !! And yes , I have just subscribed your channel..may many more do the same and your goal of 100k subscribers be accomplished soon ..
Brother luv frm tawang .....i hard that ur a tulku...is it right bro? Any way i really luv to watch ur videos .....visit again in tawang .....lots of luv
Rinzin Rinz check my (ex-monk - so proud to call myself ex-monk 😜) other videos which are in Tibetans, appreciate for it rather than always saying Speak in Tibetan-- SPEAK IN TIBETAN. this ex-monk has audiences from all over the world, so always speaking in Tibetans would be difficult. Hope you could understand it. Plus majority of the coming contents would be in English for sure, love to reach to larger number of audiences and will shine representing TIBETAN. After all, human being comes first and your nationality comes next. ✌️
Sometimes people can b so rude for no reason. It’s disheartening. Speaking English doesn’t mean disrespecting mother tongue. I think for RU-vidr it’s better to speak English to grab lotta attention to hit more views.
I love to listen to my state name when you choice to be which north east state you love the most it's was a pleasure 😊 and yeah I'm also new in youtube community please give me some tips I just started and upload my introduction video on RU-vid channel of mine.just check it out.
Great, you have sense of guilty droped out from monk life, I m happy still you are duddhist, and dharmma minded person. Keep consent faint to Buddha, dharmma and sanga.
Sonam Tashi the education I got from the monastery is very valuable, helpful and practical to lead happy family. Love to spread this particular message to the world in the coming months through videos
