Are you a liar?
Once upon a time, Truth was on his way to enlighten the village of Ignorance on a very hot afternoon. Just before entering the village Truth saw a beautiful pool below a crystal waterfall. Truth could not resist the temptation to take a plunge and have a good long swim in that pool.
So Truth took off of his beautiful, soft and silky bright white clothes and hanged them on a tree by the pool. Truth jumped into the pool and was having a good time swimming around naked in the cool, crystal clear water.
Shortly after Mr. Lie who was also on his way to the same village, arrived at the pool, sweating from the heat of the sun in his old, torn, filthy garments. When Lie got to the pool, he could not resist the temptation to jump in and take a swim to cool off.
As Lie prepared to take off his raggeddy old dirty clothes and take a dive, he noticed a problem. He saw that Truth was already in the pool, and this was a big problem because darkness cannot exist where there is light.
Not knowing what to do, Lie being the sneak that he was, decided to change his smelly, filthy clothes for Truth’s bright spotless garments, and then continued on his journey to the town.
When he was yet a far way off the villagers recognizing the perfectly clean, shimmering white clothes shouted, "Hey, it's Truth!" But as Lie got closer and closer, they saw it was nothing but a Lie.
In the mean while, Truth finished his swim and found that his clothes were gone. In its place were the filthy clothes of Lie.
Truth decided that he would much rather walk naked than wear the filthy clothes of Lie. So he set off to go to the town without his clothes on. As he got close to the town, a little boy instantly recognized him, and ran yelling to the towns people, "Here comes the Truth, the NAKED truth."
Today, I want to share with you the naked truth. Today, I want to straight up ask you a question: Are you a lie wearing the garments of truth?
Inside today's Advent Message, we'll take a good long hard look at what the Word of God, the Holy Bible has to say about being a Christian.

I do wish I could get my friend to listen and study with you. I have tried to explain this truth and that of the state of the dead. She will believe unless she sees in the Bible. I have tried to show but to no avail. I don't know what what else I can do.

When you've done everything you can to show her what God has told us what happens when we die, the only thing left for you to do, is to turn her over to God in prayer, pray for her and let God work in her.
