For everyone curious, I HIGHLY recommend checking out the novel Skunkworks by Ben Rich, audiobook or hardcopy. It's a fabulous read about this jet and all the other miracles make by the Skunkworks team
I just watched one of your DCS edits of Red Storm Rising the other day and thought it was incredible. I went to send it to my friends but the videos are all gone. What happened to them? Did they get flagged or something?
Came here to ask the same thing. It was a great project but I wouldn't count on more videos from now on. Whoever owns the audiobook copyright probably filed a claim.
FYI, Lockheed experimented with shooting AIM-9s from an F-117. It can do it and that's how it has the "F" for fighter designation rather than A or B. (It also helped get around a few arms limitation treaties.) This is not a secret, you can look it all up
@@timw483 it’s really cool. I was listening to the Fighter Pilot Podcast episode on it. That was the first time I’d heard, coming straight from a Nighthawk pilot
Dude. The video is KICK ASS. As always. But you GOT to tell me, where DO you find those bad battle jams to go with em? Hell I'd download the music just to listen to. PLEASE tell me you don't write it yourself. I'll be hosed if you do!
I do not do them myself. Ive tried my hand at producing my own music not where my talents lie. ru-vid.com I also have a strange taste in music and had stumbled upon White Bat Audio's stuff a wile ago. THAT guy has talent!
www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3317754/ Its this mod made by Jinxx. Its currently broken (or at least WAS for me) That was what I had spent yesterday afternoon working on. It is also stealthy.
Odd that it would be loaded with sidewinders. No FCR so you'd have to eyeball the range unless it has a laser rangefinder that can point forward. If you wanted an aircraft that could do something like this but be WAY more survivable it'd be the 22 or the 35. The 117s strength was always the surprise stealth bomb capability.
