Agree about bringing this novel to the screen, but it would be better as a faithful mini-series or series. If they were to condense this to a movie, it would suck. There is so much in this novel that still resonates with the current Russian military. As for these chapters, kill the background music. The narration and the graphics are the most important. The constant background music is too loud and annoying.
Dude, I got to ask. 1) Are you planning on reworking these vids now that Kola is out and a bit more appropriate terrain is available, and 2) You wouldn't happen to need a any pilots to make these, and 3) is there any way I could get a copy of these missions to fly?
1. Its very tempting to re-do the dance of the vampires.I think ALL of the assets for that are now in the sim. 2. I have considered trying to recruit help but with trying to get time on my own to make the stuff I couldn't expect people to commit to anything. 3. Ive upgraded computers sense most of these have come out and honestly the mission files are so broken up its not so much like you would consider a campaign or purpose built mission. As a teen, Red Storm Riding was an awesome read. Years later, in the Navy, I was in Electronic Warfare and Anti-Ship Missile Defense. Since then, Red Storm Rising scares the **** out of me. We were taught to fight the scenarios in the book and more. I can put myself in the CIC of the ships and know what they were thinking and doing. That scares me.

Technically, the F-114 is light bomber not a fighter -as many others have pointed out, it has no offensive capability I don't know why it was designated as a fighter?
The designation is F-117 it is a tactical bomber but, as you can see, it can also perform other tasks. This mission would be an operation in which their stealth properties were urgently needed. In the book it is the F 19A "Ghostrider" as far as I know it was never actually used in a mission so I am reluctant to name the aircraft type. I started watching this as a Clancy fan. I think youve hit on to something here. Sort of a new genre. I would pay for these. Much more entertaining than the garbage on tv . Really well done.
