I had one kid. It is MY responsibility to take care of myself. It is not my kid’s…. I am responsible for my own welfare. Not my kid….no matter how many kids I have, their income level…. My life is MY responsibility!!!

some people arent worth the energy it takes to explain why you dont want to talk to them anymore. sometimes "ghosting" is the best thing to do. you have to do what is best for you. my mom is a narcissist and treated me like garbage my whole life. at 38 years old, i had to cut her off for my own mental health and i dont regret it. it's a long story as to what was the last straw but i was done. nothing i could say would make her realize she was in the wrong but i had enough with the lies and brainwashing.

His parents will never be proud of him. If anything they are jealous. These two individuals have issues that go way back and Eli can't fix them. Don't be mad at them. They are like this for a reason. Just understand it.

It's a normal feeling. I actually cried when I found out my second was a boy, NOT because he was a boy (my gut felt he was), but I was grieving the fact I knew I'd never be a girl mom. Two and done. But, deep down I knew I was meant to be a boy mom. I wouldn't change a thing! A lot of it was hormones too. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Boy mom for life! ♥️ I couldn't imagine having a girl now. Haha.

I thought so too because I have both. My daughter was actually a breeze she's 18 now and he's the difficult one from age 2 to now 15 yo 😂

I'd love to see any resources you have in regards to parents being physically present, but emotionally distant, and it being less traumatizing if the parent stays away. We are trying to process through that and feel that way...

My mom had two miscarriages before me and my sister. We are both girls. I am divorced and most likely never having kids in general at this rate, Grieve REAL things...this is such a 1st world problem...

I've been there just a few weeks ago. It takes time and it takes talking about it. From there, you will figure out a plan. For me, talking to a stranger was easy because I was not embarrassed since they don't know me.

I cried when I found out my second one was a boy! I knew I had to have a third because I knew I needed to have a daughter. I had to have the chance to have a relationship like me and my mom do. I got her!! I didn’t find out the sec before just in case even though I just knew it was my girl! We are best friends!!

That was my first thought too when i read the title, but after listening I realized that he has to meet people where they will understand. This woman ultimately did feel wrong about her feelings and he basically told her she’d have to get over ir but in a nicer way. I didnt take it as him pandering to her really

@@pattyajones she has no problem inviting all the veterans into her home. People she doesn't even know who could snap and kill her family. But when they want her husband's brother to move in she is all worried.
