Angela, I'm also a born-again Christian. We women are supposed to have hair as a "covering". Some of us are losing our hair, so using artificial hair is fine, not a sin. You've made this a job. Nothing wrong with that. Personally, I've learned a lot! I've always believed it's okay to be content and even pleased with the way God has created us. You can feel pretty and still walk in the Spirit. It's all about attitude, behavior, and what's in the heart. Am I ready for Jesus? YES!!

Hi there! Thanks so very much for your kind response. Yes, you are right, in a way it DID become a job. A job which replaced my Real Estate job of 30+ years. It didn't start out to be a job. It started out to be a "help" to so many women like me who were looking for believable silver, grey and white wigs. Little by little it developed into a job. That's another vid for another day. I completely understand what you're saying... I too became a lukewarm Christian lately. I have been focusing on wigs, perfume, makeup sort of that's slowing down and lately I realize they have become my "idols" A few weeks ago when I felt that I was ready I did a big time cleansing and repenting. And then just a couple days ago , when I felt it was right, I said a prayer to break generational curses. It was a very intense prayer but I spoke from my heart and I feel a weight has lifted off of me and I am back on track. A friend of mine who I have hounded for years to read Revelation, to repent and to become closer to God. She has finally done it. She cannot stop talking about God and the joy I hear in her voice makes me very happy for her. But again I do understand what you're saying... we are closer to the end times than people think and what a lot of people want to know. I loved hearing you tonight and thank you for sharing that with us. May God bless you all and I pray for you and your health and that any and all answers will be found to your current situation.

I looked up the definition of an idol ... here it is: (Websters Dictionary) an object of extreme devotion a movie idol. also : ideal sense 2 ... : a representation or symbol of an object of worship. Our appearcne can become an idol. @@onewithgreyhairThe information that you posted definitely and unfortunately fits me and where I was at at that time. To be truthful and this is embarrassing to say I didn't even think about God I was thinking about oh I want this and I want that and I have to have this and that... My wigs and perfume collection also purses are out of control. Some of the wigs I haven't even taken out of the boxes yet. I probably will not live long enough to use up all the perfume that I have so I definitely feel they were my idols. Again thank you for the description or definition rather of an idol. My eyes have been opened and like I said I feel I'm back on track. I am going to check out the link that you left and thank you for posting it. Take care and look forward to your next video.

Wow this is such confirmation to me …. Thank you for your obedience. I too am a wig wearer as I started loosing my hair when I was as about 48yr. I watched and learned as much as I could about wigs , beauty and incessant yearning to make things beautiful I watched hrs of decorating and wig talk shows. I too am a believer in Jesus and my life is out of balance . As of late there’s has been such discontent and boredom with all the above things I have been obsessed with. I’ve put my identity it the wrong things. Your talk is so timely and I thank you .

This is amazing! As I watched you, obedient to God’s calling, I realized that the entire time, I was smiling. This brings me such joy! To witness you sharing how God intervened in your life is a breath of fresh air. I really enjoy watching various RU-vidrs, like you said, makeup, clothing, skincare, nails and of course Wigs, I just never expected anyone that I’ve been following, to open up about their faith. I am a child of God. Jesus is my Savior. I have no doubt where I’m spending eternity. Thank you so much for stepping out in faith like this and reminding us as believers to be on fire for our Lord.
