We should have the option to choose between fervent and mother regardless of we are in free battle pass or paid one. I am a f2p player and use fervent fang. I have a rank 6 fervent and i already need to wait for 5 months to upgrade it to rank 7. But now this is terrible for me. This will harm most the f2p players.
I’ve got a rank 9 fang and needed 8 more copies for 10. No way to get more than 3 a month now and they require boon of plenty and collectors bp to get. $20 for 3 fangs vs $5 for 4. Not happy.
Best channel hands down! I only needed one fervent and I got it from my boon of plenty today, but it would be extremely annoying if I already wasn't maxed out to see that the battlepass would not provide any! Ashava was the most disappointing boss that I have faced.......It was extremely boring and easy!
Hey Lida, i aquired 7 of the new gems from the shop pkus Battle pass and 1 thing I noticed is none of them are tradable! So im not sure if they are going to treat this new gem tge same way as the Fervent Fang (only from Battle Pass) or its going to be available from Elser Rift runs. Either way, them having available in the market as a purchase option will be null and void if they aren’t tradable. Also the new boss Ashava is easy for any normal powered player. It does offer a raid squad to help but fairly simple. The drops you collect seem to be a one time collect, same as other weekly raids. Hope this helps
The fang is in the 10$ store pass, personally, I haven't been playing for long and I was actually thinking of changing my fang to something I can craft, still i needed one more to upgrade to a rank 5, nevertheless I'm holding on to it to see if the next battle pass has it, having said that if they do remove it from the pass it should be made craftable.
Yeah, I'm super-upset about this. My Fervent Fang is rank 9, and I was hoping to get it to rank 10 soon and then awaken another slot! This sucks! If they take it out of the Battle Pass, then they should make Fervent Fang craftable!!!!!
But ferven fang will be back for sure in the next battle pass, because mothers lament is craftable but ferver is not! this will be just for the launch and arrival of lilith and Ashava is just trash, no fun at all
My Ferv Fang is rank 9, I haven’t been playing actively long enough to have finished leveling it. If this holds, and FF is CAPPED, then just add one more reason to curse Blizzard and DELETE this money grabbing, hamster wheel of a game.
Since the gem switched happened, I feel the Fang will be craftable in which it should. As for Ashava, there's a lot of whales on our cluster and defeating Ashava took no more than 10 seconds. I want to do it again with lower stat players because we didn't see one attack ability from Ashava. Didn't get great rewards from that. I saw scrap and dust. No legos. As for the battle pass, nothing much has changed. Since the Hellquary requires more remains, there should be an uptick on all items within the battle pass. I know about level 30 being lower. Last thing is the daily login rewards have been the same since launch. These rewards don't entice people to log in every day. We all knew the first week these rewards weren't worth it and people left specifically because of that knowing the future of rewards. And yes, the MMR is terrible.
@@bfam6066 I think it depends on your class, build, financial investment etc. From my understanding it's a great PvE gem. I personally haven't had any experience with it, but I'm looking forward to playing with it. It just sucks that it's so hard to obtain.
@@bfam6066 Its a great gem for single target damage & provides bonus damage on bosses. As a DH, I like it better than Bloody Reach because I don’t have to worry about my distance.
I stopped using fervent a few months ago when I realized I would never get enough copies of it, but taking it out of the battle pass is terrible for other people. I would like to see fervent as a craft able gem if it is not coming back to the battle pass.
My assumption is this Mother's Lament switch is only for this BP - Mother's Lament came out as a tie-in to D4, so after the launch it makes sense for it to not be in future BPs and Fervent Fang to come back. This makes sense as far as why Mother's Lament is available everywhere else/craftable.
This is really bad and should absolutely be brought to their attention. They provided no information on what the plans are surrounding fervent fang. Seems to be just a massive oversight. I don’t believe their intention is to only obtain it through the boon. They just didn’t even think about it. 5$ bp gets you 4 gems, the boon is 10$ and gives 2. It just doesn’t make sense. Maybe next season it will go back to fervent? Maybe it will become drop/craft? No information at this point is well over due and clear major oversight imo. Guess my fervent will be sitting in my bag for a while since it won’t see rank 10, maybe forever?? What a joke
another aspect which Blizzard/NetEase shoul consider, a lot of player wont buy battlepass anymore, if they leave the mother lament in, myself included, i think a big chunk of revenue comes from battlepass i try to be f2p as much as possible, but already bought battlepass 4 times but i wont pay for a craftable gem
Yes I wish they gave notice. Or have a way to craft instead of ML. But since you can craft ML as well this isn't making alot of sense. (PadilinCake/Phattie)
I'm fairly certain it's only for this month. Also worth noting you made this mistake on your first video, but crafted gems cannot be sold as they are bound.
Ashava was a waste of time and energy from a development standpoint, it was a one minute pointless battle with no difficulty curve, they missed an opportunity to give us a boss akin to the difficulty you see in a traditional Diablo game.
Great point, this easily could of been ramped up to make it a meaningful event. I'd have been thrilled for a challenging encounter with resonance removed or something to that effect. Missed opportunity for sure.
If it’s just the one time as a promo, it’s ok… but if there are no more fangs, then I would be concerned because, in my opinion, it’s S tier, and I use it.
I love the way Lida reports the happenings inside his house the same as the game. “Something was just knocked over.. fortunately nothing was broken…” cat’s badges are going to lose points in the loyalty category. lmao
I need two more Fervent Fang copies to get to Rank 10 and this will set me back a couple weeks, having to rely on Boon of Plenty to drop those last two copies into my inventory. Not a big deal but they should have made it craftable or something. Or let you choose in BP screen whether you take Fang or Lament.
Fervent Fang not available except for once month with the battle pass this has seriously pissed off everyone on my server. My server is the highest Asian server and I have not heard of anyone that has a rank 10 Fervent Fang. According to the chat this morning when everyone found out I could see everyone was saying they have between a level five and a level eight. Lot's of people were talking about quitting the game and or majority also said there's no point buying a battle pass if I can only get one a month. This was coming from people that have spent a lot it's the same people everyday talk about I can't wait to buy the new skin coming out yeah it came out and you can imagine the things that whales would be saying in the chat finding out that they're no longer able to get something that they've purchased in the past for months feeling like they're scammed and hustled is the comments I saw. Maybe that was their intention to get people to quit the game or not spend any more money on the Asian server If that was their intention they succeeded.
anyone else not getting completion reward for killing ashava?? killed her multiple times now and the dread pilgramige window says 0/1 multiple ppl in my server saying same thing
@@issabelle17 figured it out do elder rifts till u fight ashava as the boss of the elder then it will complete. i had to do 3 elders for it to complete
The Fervant Fang should have remained as a Battle Pass gem. It sucks that a craftable gem was swapped in - I would prefer a rare gem that is only available from just the Battle Pass. I know that some players have reached rank 10 with their Fervant Fang's and those players probably do not have any use for it anymore. Ashava was easy - solo'ed it this morning.
Still need 12 copies of the fang, I guess 4 more months to wait for those. The new event boss.. a joke, like every other boss. Once you reach the combat rating requirement is just doing it for the rewards, no challenge whatsoever.
Ashava I don't understand what the purpose is...aside from advertising. You can repeatedly do it and loot isn't awful, with one legendary in about 5-7 runs solo. Got less than 5m hp so its quick just have to wait for him to get back up midway through. In short, I am disappointed. Try it on a really low character under 2k CR if you have one available to play, it is quite fun like most all the fights when it is above your CR a bit. My alt was mid 1600's CR.
Look if that new gem is truly replacing Fang forever. Then the only way to get copies of Fang going forward is to buy it by spending $15 per month for the highest tier of battle pass to get the coins to buy the gem. That is something that I just won't do. So if I ever did need it or wanted it then I would just do without being free to play. My hope is that one of the following is true so Fang would still be available for free to play. 1.) Mother's Lament is only for the current season battle pass. 2.) Mother's Lament is only craftable for the current season battle pass. 3.) Blizz gives us some other way of getting Fervent Fang. Because if this is what they are planning to keep it that way for years to come. Then there is nothing that would prevent them from trying to nickel and dime us for other legendary gems that they either add to the game or already have in the game by sticking it behind the highest tier of battle pass. Where they would be telling us want that gem to upgrade the gem you are using. Or to add gem resonance then fork over some cash to get it. I will keep my hopes up till I hear from Blizz is some way. Although these days I don't put much trust in Blizz like I used to due to the egregious p2w in Immortal. I still will say that if Immortal didn't have the egregious p2w. Instead let's say that they had designed immortal where cosmetics were the focus. Sure you could still buy with real money legendary crests, plat, eternal orbs, and dawning echo. But let's also say that those things were also things that you could earn in the game (albeit at a much slower rate). Where instead of p2w it would be pay to progress faster. I think that Immortal would've, if done right, under those conditions would've made Blizz way more money than a game like Genshin Impact due to it being a Diablo game. Also we would have way more people playing it as well. Instead greed has taken root in them and that is why the game is the way that it is. Even though I do hold out some hope that it will change. The chances the way I see them though is slim, or maybe none.
Thanks for elaborating in such detail. I think it's a good stance to wait and see, I feel something will be done or it's temporary. Was just really caught off surprise when I saw it and prompted the video.
If Fervent Fang went away at least I hope it would become craftable form now on. Ashava event is a bit anticlimactic cos I know this boss is very challenging in D4 but in DI it’s kinda meh, 45 Seconds raid 😂 I don’t do BG and was always screwed over with the badge everytime my clan is Immo. Never had a problem as shadow and always gets 8% badge but can only get 4% badge as Immo, so I feel the game essentially says “do BG get trashed by whales for 8% badge or get lost 😒” everytime it’s Immo time. So im actually glad this is no longer a thing. Apparently people were very okay with this treatment of player from blizzard the last time I posted this issue on Reddit. So yeah I don’t like my 4% damage being held hostage by BG participation but it is what it is. Don’t really care anymore 🙂
I am expecting Blizzard/Netease to screw this up on the next update.. I think this is gonna be another situation of 1 step forward, 10 steps backward... It appears that they have dropped the ball and have given up on fixing bugs and crashes... This is what happens when the programmers and QA and whatever does not play the game they make...
I complained about Fervent Fang replaced by Mother's Lament in BP Season 14 and was told by other players that this is only a one-time thing to pay tribute to Lilith. Next BP will revert back to Fervent Fang. Time will tell.
@@MinMaxRPG A comment on DM's video about a week ago. I can get you the link if you want. I play on a Japanese server, and was told the same by an Asian player about this ML gem replacing Fervent Fang is just a one-time deal for this BP. They obviously don't consume English RU-vid videos, so that's the word on the street right now.
its crazy, fervent fang is mainly use by low spending players, helps in pve and BG for dmg. Why remove 1 dps gems and replace with another? how is this going to help closing the gap between low spenders and whales?
