I’ve been doing my own laundry ever since 13 years old, however I will say I totally understand the psychology behind Foley’s relationship with his mom and I’m 100% for it! From everything you guys have described his mom as, she seems like the “boss-lady”, the one who likes to get things done. And as you get older finding and keeping your purpose alive is what keeps you alive and makes you feel useful. So, I love what you and your mom have. That’s good stuff right there, keep throwing your undies her way. Wish I phrased that different.

Funny you say that, I've been doing my own laundry since 13 too, but I moved out and my siblings are out of the country, my washing machine got wrecked during the pandemie, so I had to do an emergency load at my parents house, and her cleaning lady ironed them and everything. The next week my mom started calling inviting me to do laundry so the cleaning lady has sth to do. Think she just likes having visitors. It's a hassle, but 2 years now, so I sit and have tea and talk for a bit, the laundry is the excuse
