I trusted in the Lord of Jesus Christ as my personal savior into my heart through faith alone, and not of works, by accepting his free gift of salvation, by his grace on February 16, 1996, each day, I confess sins for process of sanctification, to receive Jesus Christ as your personal savior, please refer to Matthew 10:28, John 3:16-18:36, 5:24, 6:37:47, 10:27-29, 14:6, Acts 2:38, 16:30-31, Luke 15:10, Romans 1:16, 3:23, 4:5, 6:23, 10:9-10:13, Ephesians 2:8-10, and Titus 3:5. God bless the world, and thank you for sharing.
No I disagree on your only saved by belief we’re not saved by belief we’re saved by works and belief. You have to show your belief by doing works. If you live a sinful life and you don’t do works, your not saved God commanded us to do both.
God says in His Word that it is ONLY by faith in Jesus that you are saved. James 2:26 is saying that the kind of faith that PRODUCES good works is what real faith is because if your faith doesn’t produce good works, it’s really not faith. That is saying that is simply real faith that saves you. There are no works involved in your salvation. God made it clear and simple for us. If we had to work for it, we would never be able to receive it because we would easily lose it. In reality you can’t lose your salvation and it is received through faith ONLY.
Yes if you believe and profess with your lips and believe in your heart that Jesus is lord you’ll be saved. Yes but we can’t read that to the exclusion of other scriptures, for example we have another scripture where Jesus makes it vary clear he seas not every one who seas to me lord lord will enter the kingdom heaven only those who do the will of my father, again not everyone who surrenders there will to me will enter the kingdom of heaven only those who do the will of my father in heaven. So we realize that connected to faith is also action that connected to faith is also works in fact the letter of James makes it vary clear he seas faith with out WORKS is DEAD, THAT FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD in a another words how to say it faith without works is no use faith without works is like having no faith that you actually have to we have to get. Were saved by grace working itself out in love in-fact that frase sole fide, “faith alone”, it’s only found one place in the entire bible and that is in James chapter 5 when James seas we are NOT saved through faith alone the only time that rallying Cry of faith alone is there those two words are together in scripture is when Saint James writes we are not saved by faith alone but what are we saved bye were saved by grace through faith working itself out in love and we see this again we see this even Jesus has made this so clear at the end of Mathew’s gospel right Mathew chapter 25 he seas number of kind of apocalyptic end of time Visions or Parables he says that at the end of time here is the lord when the sun of man comes he’ll divide them like sheep and goats to the sheep they’ll go to Everlasting rest with my father and to the goats to damnation. what is the differentiation between the sheep and the goats well to those who are saved, those who go to heaven essentially Jesus seas what he seas I was naked and you clothed me I was hungry and you fed me I was ill and in prison and visited me and they say when did you do that when did you and they say when did you do that when did we see you naked and hungry alone and he says as often as you did it for one of the least of my brethren you did it for me and to the others he says I was hungry and you didn’t feed me I was naked and you didn’t clothe me I was ill and in prison and you didn’t visited me and they will say to Jesus when did we see you he says as often as you didn’t do it for one of these least of my brethren you did NOT DO IT FOR ME and you realize they both call him Lord right those to heaven and those going to hell BOTH call him Lord now it could be at the end of time when Jesus reveals himself as lord to everybody even those who didn’t believe in him that a distinction maybe that case but the differentiation between heaven and hell is not based off of did you believe you believe in me the differentiation between heaven and hell is not did you have faith in me the differentiation because heaven and hell IS DID YOU TAKE CARE OF THE LEAST OF THESE or did you not take care of the least of these DID YOU DO SOMETHING OR DID YOU NOT DO SOMETHING this is so critical. Salvation is a gift of grace none of us deserve it none of us work our way up to heaven none it is a free gift remember we’re saved by grace through faith working itself out in love at the same time faith with out works is dead utterly useless it can save no one having works is not merely a sign that I’ve been saved having works comes out of this live relationship with god where I’ve actually surrounded myself to him no it’s completely his gift but I have to do something with his gift or it is as if never got a gift.
