What happens is responsibilities change you so you get more in your head because of that. We forgot to have fun be natural and just live life.

I’ve always been introspective but I’ve been more in my head as an adult than as a child because the internet provides a lot of information for me to reflect on that I did not have access to as a child.

5:03 Exactly. Mundane life gave you time to relax your brian. Today you’d probably be listening to a podcast on your bike hoping to find answers to questions you have. And we all know the answers we’ll find will lead to more questions 🤣😂

54:55 I think most men come to these forums 1st when they are analyzing their problems and 2nd to complain about the problem once they realize there are few individual solutions to change their predicament. I personally prefer these scorned men get their anger out in these spaces where we can curtail their hostility in a positive manner rather than have them express their rage in real life. People have always known that forcing egalitarianism would lead to disenfranchised men and bitter girls. The damage is done. It’s too late to incentivize most men now because there are few incentives for them to self inprove. The best we can do in these times is try to preserve men’s self respect and sanity. It’s not your fault huMan that society is messed up but showing displeasure for men who have given up will make men view you as the same girls and bureaucrats who put them in this situation. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to elevate a man when he’s at his lowest. It was Barbosa’s dream that men would stop judging each other as people with obligations and start seeing ourselves as brothers willing to work as a collective regardless of where we came from or what we decided to do with our lives. Please be the link in the chain that fulfills his wish.

My simple ethic, is work, rest and play. Missing anyone of these 3 pillars, Fix it. Easy to say. Just requires effort. STar Wars Yoda quote " Do or not do. There is NO try. " Respect your channel and take away inspiration huMAN. Thanks mate. 👍😎

Excellent conversation, thanks huMAN, Khaoru and Boffin. The old, young and in between have a lot to learn and share from each other. Each of us is a unique island and a library of sorts. Although our perspectives may differ from the lenses, lessons and experiences we derived them from building bridges of communication and understanding between the islands is not only important but vital. (We all may be islands but still share occupancy of the same planet) Online is only one way things are communicated, shared, expressed and expanded upon. It is useful and serves a great purpose as well do the abilities, skills and civility needed to do much the same and more in 3D. IMHO I think if people took a deeper look with in, understanding themselves better and take personal responsibility to mindfully enhance, expand and improve their perspectives things would be better. You first have to understand yourself well before giving a well-rounded go of understanding someone else. One can spend time in their head and that’s ok. It may also depend how they are spending that time there. Is it being creative, productive, working on positive solutions and acting on them or ruminating in the muck and mire of perpetual discontent, disassociation and malfunction? Sometimes I wonder if people actually realize they have a choice and that choice can have a lasting Doppler Effect either good or bad.

I am 30 and seen the before time and the current digital time. The real ground breaking moment for me was when I finally moved out at 26 and it was a literal new chapter opening for me. I said to myself afterwards that I should have done this sooner. Boys having terrible teachers for Father's really only exasperates everything

Millennials as a generation grew up in this strange time, where many were caught in a transitionary phase of society. Not only was the world moving from an analog world, to a digital world, but the economy was in the final phase of moving the last remanence of the industrial base offshore and moving to an economy dominated by Services. You can add in many other factors such as the 2008 recession. In summary, it’s not that Millennials never went through seasons, it’s that many of us became frozen at certain point in time. How can you transition into adulthood, when wages have been stagnant for years, the barrier to a well paying job has been moved up and house prices have left wage growth behind?

… well, these seem to be valid qstn.s, at least from your point of view on ‚the world‘. other ones (in our context here in particular) might be, though, why and for whom to deal with erecting | acquiring a house, consume all over the place, striving for else than personal development + interests (maybe shared with others - or not) !? what‘s the point with the current ‚menu‘ (sense a. clarey) at all !?

I feel like the problem is that many Millenials got frozen in that transition without noticing that reality moves on. Now there is a huge chasm that needs to be crossed, having to catch up with a much different reality while in many ways being developmentally stunted and many fall through the cracks, becoming blackpilled. Taking responsibility is impossible from a largely unconscious disassociated state which many find themselves in.

24:47 society has become atomised over the last few decades. This has been driven by many factors, but the internet have been a big driver of this. A monoculture no longer exists and people live within their own subcultures. Of course, this is more apparent the younger the individual, but is it any wonder people are living in their heads too much, when they struggle to relate to the others persons meme, both meme in the sense of the “internet meme”, but also the evolutionary meme.

Hi, huMAN. Do you think that if we helped each other get what we want we could at least minimise compromise? Carrying the lessons of making sure what we want is truly what we want(realising sometimes that what we thought we wanted wasn't what we wanted). As long as language degrades, nothing is going to get better.

Not true, it's hard for teachers that they can't beat up and abuse children anymore because they will be recorded and fired. A lot of those teachers go into that profession for the wrong reasons. When I was at school we didn't have ITOs, but even then teachers complained, there was a clear distinction between teachers, those who loved the subject and loved to teach, and those who are miserable and don't want to be there. They want all children to go at the same pace, well too bad, all kids learn differently and you aren't there to make it easier for yourself, you are there to help students to learn
