I think you're missing a major point. With the dorm you're re-rolling furniture until you get higher ranks, then applying blueprints to increase the rank even further. At the end you should have all A and S rank furniture. That will give you character mood benefits, more dorm curreny, etc.; so you can farm for coatings faster and easier. So: Construct furniture (Use all ten currency for highest stats) Recycle any C rank furniture you construct Modify any B rank or above furniture with a blueprint If the rank doesn't improve, repeat until you have an A or S rank item Fill room with A and S rank furniture to raise rating for better character mood. High mood characters can do chores to give you currency. Use currency to buy more dorms. Use more dorms to generate currency for mucho coating sketches.
Dont forget that the chibis have preferences- 1 desired and 1 liked and 1 unimportant, so when building furniture put the 10 coins mostly in 1 of the 3 stats and some in a secondary stat, and do that for all furniture in a room. Put chibis in that room that desire the primary stat and like the second stat. Eventually youll have 6 rooms where 2 are high comfort 2 high function 2 high beauty, and each of the 2 has a high comfort function beauty secondary stat.

Yeah, I was fine with it, because I figured you could get partitions or something but then I realized there is no option for that lol, so we just got some toilets sitting beside my couch.
@@wakuwaku9920 as far as I know, It's not possible to buy it with D coins (maybe for now or it'll stay like that) since it's a recharge gift (5000 RC purchase). Hope they'll add more decorations.
The stats on the vending machine are really bad. Instead of crafting such a bad item, either craft something better than the items in the store, or just simply buy the items in the store. The store items are actually pretty nice, and then you can use the blueprints in order to roll for the effect that either boost stats or even increase certain aspects such as stamina or mood Regen. You can use blueprints on items based on their category (such as a regular sofa being turned into a black leather sofa with the blueprint of the black leather sofa). Hope this helps because the dorm's weird.
I think dorm is just as important as the main game because you get gifts as rewards when claiming dailies to gift to your units to increase your bond level with them
The crafting item does makes a difference. Each character has an affinity to each of the main dorm characteristic, either beauty, comfort or utility. When you craft item you can use the material to increase your chance of getting a higher grade item for a particular dorm characteristic. If your first dorm is comfort as main stat, you should craft walls, cieling, beds and shelves that have a high grade and use mats on comfort to hopefully get a high comfort rating. The items i mentionned have a higher potential rating then small items. The point of all that is so that your character moods and stamina can recover faster so you can send them on chores and get gifts more often. For min maximg, your best bet is to go with larger high grade items that take up the least space, even if your room looks like a movie theater filled with sofas instead of a cool gaming room lol.
I never knew it was so easy to get S rank decorations tho.. Anyway After a few weeks the only character who gave me a gift was kamui 😭😭😭 they don't love me anymore...
Feel free to correct me, but you actually want to use more than 3 dorm coins on items for a chance to roll higher stats (the letter besides the stats indicates how good it is. C > B > A > S) and once you get decent stats, THEN you want to use blueprints to improve those items and make them look good. Until then it's probably better to just outright buy the furniture items in the store, since they have decent stats already. But if you're just going for the dailies, then yes. Crafting 3 furniture with 3 dorm coins each and just disassembling one is the way to go I guess.
rubbing Lucia and Liv? yes. i always craft using 10 screws and so far i haven't seen a rare furniture. i think modifying what you crafted has a better chance. also, when modifying, you have to match the type of the base furniture with the blueprint. for example, you can only use an accessory blueprint with an accessory base furniture. i also put constructs with the same likes and decorate accordingly to maximize happiness. last, number of dorms = chores!! you need a construct (with stamina) per chore, tho it's not that important since you just get screws from doing it, but hey.
I hope in the future we get update about QoL in Dormitories and i wonder how i can maximize the point like the "Flower" Logo, the"Coin" logo, and the "Teddy bear" Logo?
so, for anyone who ask these questions like, what is "beauty", "utility", and "comfort" at the top of dorm screen. each construct character have these traits. so, when u wanna craft one item, the next screen would go to the type of items. choose one of them, whatever u wanna craft. the next screen should go to those 3 option. if u wanna max up the "beauty" option, one of construct who have the beauty trait would go up. but mind that, the other traits didn't go up. and these traits would also boost ur construct's mood. when their mood's at max, the stamina for doing chores also speed up. also, if u don't want to bother do these things, just focus at doing the chores to stack ur materials, and just buy the already made items. depends on ur taste and style. there's 2 set. one is cyberpunk style, and coffee shop style.

I did that but i did wrong with the dorm coins and making the furnitures. So i started making it by just three coins and modify the item with the blueprint it saved me more coins🙂im waiting for the sakura theme now lmao.
Good video! But I have a quick couple questions hopefully someone can answer. Firstly, is there a more reliable method of farming dorm coins? The (dorm) story missions only get you so many, and I can barely make enough to buy the 1 purchase of discounted sketches in the shop with 3 coins. I saw a “daily mission” guide from a year ago on the JP edition where every time they did a dorm event (tap a happy unit with the blue triangle) they got a coin, and I was wondering what I need to do to get to that point. Also any better way of getting coating sketches? If you miraculously just rake in the gold coins then go for it, but if you’re like me and can only realistically afford the 1 discounted sketch purchase every day, then it’ll take roughly 450 days for ONE coating in the shop. Sorry for text wall ._.
Dailies DO NOT give you dorm coins. Only dorm crafting currency and construcys gifts. To get Dorm Coins for unlocking rooms and buying outfit currency, you NEED to do the main dorm missions and sometimes get them from dorm constructs when you interact with them. NONE of the Dailies give the needed currency for cosmetic farming.
If dorms fed into useful rewards like pull tickets or some rare mats everyone would be playing it. But, it is boring for an action game so I'm glad it's purely optional
Every construct have a different decor preference(Beauty, Comfort, Utility). Eg: B liv likes beauty and comfort. You can check in details of each construct in pat menu or in members list of the dorm. The decor preference of a construct is divided into levels which have the rating requirements. Increasing your dorm rating allows you to fulfill higher levels of your construct's decor preference. The higher your construct's decor preference level is, the higher the stamina and mood per hour they receive. Stamina is required to do chores while mood is for gifts.
