I found you could actually place 12x4 sofas which saves alot of coins for rerolling, Easilly get the 6500 Main stat and 3500 sub stat without filling the whole room
Some of the other commenters have recommended the Messy Storage Rack in the cyber blueprints. You can put them flush length-ways next to each other and take up even less space! I am using those now, which saves even more space.
I like how the dorm in this game is actually good for something, not like in honkai impact where it's just for fun and the only outside benefit is a minimal improvement to your overall stats.
Thanks so much. The Liv maid skin is now in the coating shop. Rev up those Dorm coins! Also be aware a lot of people are posting triple S stats in one dorm when not having all of them unlocked. Not covered in this guide is keeping the investment as minimum as possible to hit the level cap for rooms with three characters first. Decor coin generation = lost time if you over invest in a room. :)
I'm doing a vending machine strategy. Vending machine blueprint turns a shelf into the smallest footprint large deco as far as I am aware, which means you can get away with lower rolled vending machines (B and A rank instead of S rank) since you can fit way more in the dorm to max the stats.

Getting that 6500 stat is quite a challenge, esp since I care a lot about the aesthetic lol. I still need around 1000 more to reach 6500. Thanks for the guide!
Great guide! I have been saving Dorm (300+) and Decor (10k+) coins since launch with 2 rooms and finally decided to optimize the setup for once and all so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Even if you don't optimize a whole lot, it's alright. I have many C grade couches and it still adds up to 12000 overall, 6500 primary and 3500 secondary stat. Just make sure the primary stat is 200+ and secondary is higher than the lowest value to some extent. It takes a really long time to create, reroll and place furniture but it's a matter of "do it good, do it once" sort of thing given that you have enough resources saved for it to decorate all rooms at once.
thx for awesome info. I didnt have time to dig in how Dorm works. I love coating so I invest time to build coins. I reach 5500 and got decent coin but this is more than I can think of. Thx for putting effort making video.
thanks for this! as others stated, no need to re-roll, just cram 30+ A/B/C plain sofas and it's enough to reach 6.5k and 3.5k with some room to spare. I was even able to get 6.5k, 3.5k, and 3.6k in the same room with the sofa method. Cheers!

Thanks did some rolls a few rearranging and sorting and already got 16 coins definitely a pretty big difference still optimizing but I'm not really in a hurry.
the second example is something I will do even if it isn't the most efficient method. I don't want to stuff 28 sofas into my dorm lol. Great guide though!

@@keiidt So from the Dorm button -> click warehouse bottom middle -> construct which is the middle left option -> you then get a grid of all your characters with brief annotation on their decor preference and what room they are in. You can press on one of their portraits and you get that expanded view with who they are friendly/unfriendly with, decor preferences, stamina etc. you can also spin their chibi models around which is cute and fun :) The button at the bottom of the chibi model screen says decor preference in a black rectangle. This shows their current level, so my Alpha is maxed out so shows she is lvl 5 and has 6 stamina recovery and 5 mood recovery per hours with >6500 comfort, >3500 utility etc. There is also a tab at the top right when you see them in grid view so you can see your transcendence, corrupted and collar characters.
I just learned about this. That’s sofa king lame for people who actually want to make nice looking dorms. There should be an option to make furniture invisible.

@@anonymoususer7286 That's what I was about to say, using shelfs is more efficient than using sofas (you can put more of those in the one dorm which means that you can lower the average decor rating)

Have fun with it! When you decorate it, you can always Reroll for pieces and swap them in and out anyway later to hit the goals. You can get triple S stats just decorating it normally so don't worry and have fun with it ^_^

How will my ancestors look at me making a fictional house as good as possible so that my imaginary robot wife would use a maid outfit, doesnt matter anyway i want maid liv to wake me up, make me breakfast, make me lunch, make me dinner, make me childrens, and telling me a story before i sleep.
I found it funny that the dorm coin os a 5 star item and we buy a 4 star sketches with it to ultimately purchase a 5 star blueprint. What was kuro thinking when they made this🤣🤣
im always using 8:2 ratio when building furnitures and aiming for A rank with stat that i need + rerolling the stat for rank S with blueprint whenever i have decor bolt leftover, its work wonder and i never have to relied onto trick making same furnitures too much and still my room quite different from each other and able to reach 6500 main + 3500 sub stats goal. Im also using 10:0 ratio on some furniture for 2nd sub stat that i needed if someone have different sub stat from the other in same room. Got all my room to 6500/3500/3500 with this way (only have 3 maxed room for now)
Do they need space to move? I loaded my dorm with couches and sofas. Rather than max out stats and go through RNG hell, you could create fluorescent lights and stack them on the walls. Also, how do you tell which constructs like each other? I can’t see it. How many coins are you averaging per day?
Im not sure if it was mentioned in the video I dont remember seeing it myself, but im colorblind. is there anyway someone could tell me the range of each grade of furniture overall values. having a hard time telling the difference between blue and purple lol.
This is a good point, if anything you can ignore the colour rankings of items, as the number of each stat is more important. For example if you are rolling for a Beauty main stat and get a "purple" level of the overall total, it might only have a "blue" level of the beauty stat. Sometimes you can get a "blue" level overall and a "purple" level in the stat you want. I would focus on getting around 310+ in the stat you want which is the typical purple range, doing this you will also get a fair few 400-500 gold rank items in doing this with the stat boost blueprints get. I will be doing an update on my Dorm video soon as I have now got 4/6 rooms fully maxed and have lots of lessons learnt from doing so over the last couple of weeks and help from helpful commentators here.
Agree with you, after completing min maxing on a number of dorms, I think if anything focusing on the S rank messy storage rack and creating a small grid in the corner of each room lets you have the max stats while decorating the majority of the remaining space how you like. I think these bitcoin farms can be replaced over time as you can get all the items of aesthetic furniture you want after the fact while retaining the highest level of character affection throughout.
Great video on how to min-max the construct mood/dorm levels in however I didn't get from your video how increasing these will help out in actual DORM coin (not DECOR coins) generation? I'm currently almost maxed out on one of my dorm rooms (4939 comfort, 4408 utility) but I don't feel like they're generating more DORM coins as compared to my non-invested rooms? I check atleast thrice a day on my dorm and I feel like they all give the same chances of giving DORM coins on reset and as well as throughout the day during revisiting. Is there a speculated hidden math on this already? Not sure if I missed this info on your video if it was ever in it. Watched through the entirety of the video on background while on work but a 27 minutes guide is too long for an average person's attention span. The information is great but certainly it can be made better by making some segments shorter and just emphasizing on key points. Hoping for the growth of your channel

Also it sucks that a bed is required in every room. I just want my other room to be just a complete coffee shop setup :( but Kuro's just forcing me to slap in a random bed in the middle of everything.
I was wondering about that as well! I've only got 3 dorms my best has 3k, my worst has just 900 and in both dorms the constructs seem to give a relatively equal amount of coins.

Will do an update video on everything learned as people have mentioned the Messy Storage Rack is the most efficient rather than sofas. I have found generally my Coin return is higher when I have lvl4 constructs compared to lower level ones. I would get more gifts, or nothing at all at lower levels. I think the probability change is small but there and shows more when you have more constructs and rooms over time. Another way for Kuro games to trick us into thinking it isn't worth it :P You will probably have to see over a couple of week period the change in Dorm coin return, the recent buff to the coin generation helps a lot too.
@@waifu_enjoyer Oh no! It's not scuffed at all! The visuals and information were great and it's really evident that a lot of work went into this video! I really personally liked it so no worries :)) I also noticed the coin generation buff post-alpha maintenance but I have yet to feel the difference between a built room and a non-built one. I'll try to take note of the drops in the next days to confirm too but it's great to know that it seemed to have worked for you!
The gitfts or coins are given everyday regardless or because there's a high beauty, comfort or utility stat? After unlocking 6 rooms, do i HAVE to make the place better or i will get coins anyway?
Cute guide with all the doodles. But I don't know why you guys spend too much effort when there's a maximum of 11 coins per day (3 first login, 5 login later and 3 daily missions) no matter how much furniture u put there it's the same. Maybe if we make 12 rooms then the dorm coins would increase but who knows
I have all my rooms 6500 / 3500 sub stat for their corresponding constructs was even able to get a room 6500/3500/3500 (liv and lucia)!. I just wanna know, does increased mood recovery (5mood/hour vs lets say 5.5mood/hour) increase the chance of getting events/coins? And does stamina recovery just affect chores?
There is no info online, I checked the CN wikis and couldn't find anything. But anecdotally I found I am getting more coins and less gifts now my Construct's are higher level. Also when they were lower maybe only one would give me a coin a day, but now most if not all 3 give me a Dorm Coin each day.
Does it really necessary to maxing the stat of each dorm ? I found that with lower dorm score (around 8k) you'll be able to recover the stamina and mood.
I'm planning on making 3 rooms purple stats then the other 3 rooms max beauty, comfort, utility each. Is that alright? And so far, my constructs give me coins atleast twice a day
