@@joon8001there must be limited number of seats for engineering so that there can be 90% placement. But nowadays there are lots of private colleges offering more than 200 seats with just 10%placement.

Guys, hear me. I got into one the famous university in my state. There so many people who dreamt to enter the university. Because of technical issue I got informed one week before the 2nd internal that i got admission there. And then it was rush but i got only half marks in every subject in that first semester. I only got into the university just after two months my father died who was my best pillar who supported me in academics. I was heart broke after hearing that i only got half mark in exams and also I thought I would dissappoint my father's soul. I became loner in the college. There students of high status and they always look down on peoples with low marks they treat you like pushovers . I managed to survive till 3rd semester but after that i needed pshychatrist because i developed suicidal tendencies. I came from a below average family so i couldn't drop out of college. Also I could only visited the doctor 2 times because of financial crisis in family. I blamed my self for not being useful to the family. I realised that no matter how a top university or local university you get in, if you have bad memories there, that is just hell for you.

I never knew ki clg life aisi v hoti hai..3 sal hone wala hai yeh mera last sem hai...ek v naye dost nhi bane..bht koshish kiya maine bht zyada efforts lagaye fir v nhi bane..chote chote groups hai jinme shayad mai missfit thi....apna kam karwa lete the fir bat karna band kar dete the!! jab sare maze karte the mai kone me baithke canteen me khake Ghar chali ati thi..kisse bat karu kaha baithu kya karu kuch samjh nhi ata tha...andar ek ajeeb sa pain hota tha!!clg ki kuch ladkiya mock karte the mujhe maine kuch v nhi bigara tha unlogo ka fir v comment pass karte the gossip karte the mujhe dekhte hi...teachers v bass toppers ko hi dekhte the baki students ko janwaro jaisa hi treat karte hai...metro station me bht din baithi rahti thi chupchap ghar se bolke nikalti thi clg ja rhi hu baithke bass yahi sochti thi kaise niklu yaha se...fir khudko samjhaya sambhala ki yaha se nikal nhi sakti mai!!! now it is what it is..fir clg jana hi band kar diya bass exams dene jati hu last ek hi bacha hai.. bass degree k wajah se sahan kar liya yeh sab!

I hope it gets better for you. Mera life bhi kuch aisa hi tha high school mein. Thoda bhot baat to ho jata tha par dosti nhi ho payi. sab grp bana ke maze karte the aur mai ek kone padi rehti thi. andar hi andar itna lonely feel hota tha aur iski vajah se confidence bhi gir gaya aur kisi se baat krne ka mann bhi nhi karta tha aur anxiety alag level ki hoti thi. fir I took a year before going to college bcz I thought mai ready nahi hu cllg jane ke liye. and uss ek year mein I managed to make 2 very good friend and discovered my hobbies, gave myself time to heal from the school ka trauma and cracked entrance exam with a good score. I still feel anxious but I'm happy now. I hope aap bhi apne aap ko better karne pe focus karo and baki sab sambhal jayega. Good luck with your future!! Btw mai 2 months me college jane wali hu aur thoda darr lag rha ki history repeat na ho firse..

Hello @rups3081, I read your comment....... देखो इसे देखने के 2 नजरिया है.... या तो आप जैसे है वैसे रहिए और खुद में Regret करते रहिए............... और दूसरा ये कि -आप अकेले रहना सीख गए (खुद से लड़ना, खेलना, हंसना) जो कि life के Tough Situation के लिए बहुत important है...... लेकिन अब इसमें कुछ Change की जरूरत है 1.firstly be social ( धीरे धीरे Unknown किसी से भी बात करने की कोशिश कीजिए.... इससे आपको बोलने में Confidence & कुछ नए दोस्त भी बनेंगे) 2. एक या दो Good Friend बनाइए 3. कोई भी एक hobby develop कीजिए 4. & Most important .. ये सारी energy को जो भी कोई dream/Exam उसमे लगा दीजिए ..!! Note - I'm student of university of Allahabad... College के Starting में मेरा भी same Situation था.. फिरclg में Random किसी से भी बात करता था कभी कभी awkrard situation v हुआ है...But finally बदला हुआ महसूस करता हूं confidence & dost सभी आ गए हैं मुझमें.....! I can really understand you . I know the pain of being loneliness in college. Mere bhi college life mai almost sab log fake nikal gaye and I'm in 3rd year aur abhi tak mai feel karta hu ki mere college mai koi dost hi nahi hai sab matlabi hai apna kaam nikalwane waale bahut logo ne bahut use Kiya tha mera isiliye khud ko akela kar liya . Even aaj bhi meri school ke ek do best friends se baat hoti bus baaki koi nahi . Bahut school ke bhi change hogye waqt ke saath . Many a times I felt left out but don't worry have faith focus on your career everything will be fine soon🫂

I was thinking the same thing when I went to college. My hostel & college both were away from city, it looked very worst. But 4 years down the lane, while doing engineering I got to know reality much better, some hard truths slapped me from inside, got to know a lot of things and still I know there's a long way to go. I guess if I had choosen the other way things might have become worst.

Honestly ...the same thing is happening to me now...I passed 12 and opted for law ...as many of u know that almost all law aspirants dream about studying from a national law University by cracking CLAT(entrance exam) ...I also tried but I couldn't ...as a result I got admitted in a local law college ...I have always dreamt of studying from a top law school because I had big aspirations...but somewhere down I feel like I won't be able to fulfill my dream because taking drop year (along with college ) is difficult ...so I started to accept my life but nowadays I don't feel good because of the taunts and self doubts ...my college mates are not much serious ...and my school friends were all ending in much better colleges than mine...😭 I don't know what to do ...about trying CLAT again , I still don't know whether I would be able to prepare again or not😭😭

exactly not same but yeah this is too much relatable to me I also wanted to leave this college not because it is bad but I am not enjoying or interested in it. Like esha ho raha hain ki mujhe accha score Karna hain yeah mujhe pata Hain toh main accha score bhi kar rahi hu but I am not happy and it is also true that no one force me . I don't know mujhe kya ho gya tha .Ab man mein bohot bohot guilt ho rahi hain bohot I couldn't exam. college Jana Hain jaa rahi hu , parna hain par Rahi hu acche marks Lana Hain woh bhi le aa rahi hu but at the end of the day khud andar se Tut Rahi hu . Mujhe Mera dream achieve karni hain and I will change my life 🤞

That is a thinking bias for which many of us falls for, its called "Sunk cost fallacy". Ankur sir has already explained it very well so i don't think i need to. But I will suggest everyone to read the book "the art of thinking clearly", it explores on more such biases.

I've done my 12th and the very hectic problem which I'm facing rn is to what to do next? I'm very stressed rn because my plan is that I do not want to waste my 1 year or take a drop. Previously, i was planning to do BCA but after communicating to few teachers and professors, I've made the conclusion to do BTech CSE but here the problem is I haven't did the JEE or CUET for the same. I'm currently living in Gorakhpur and I'm planning to go to Delhi for better education. Will this Work? Will taking direct admission or going through Entrance Test Work? Will I regret it further by choosing this decision? Also, I'm doing Freelancing in Video Editing and Motion Designing from many years. When I was in my High School, I used to think that I'll not get into this rat race and I'll develop something & learn new skills by my own after 12th. Is my thinking while coming from a lower middle class background & living in Gorakhpur worth it? Will I regret if I will not be in the college? What should be the steps to choosing right career without having regret in future? Please suggest. I might help me a lot.

@@yogeshx6 bsc cs is not a bad option, I won't suggest you about the leaving if you've already taken the admission. The truth is most of the colleges in India are like that, if you wanna try different stuffs, you've to do time management, you've to focus on balancing things cuz you can't just leave the college cuz that's a total loss of you + your parents. if you're taking admission in btech cse, you'll not get much time too + I'm into the same stuffs - I'm doing freelancing, managing multiple youtube channels, I also know that I'll also have to manage my stuffs.

Same happened with me after paying 90,000 +17,000(bus-fees) and have to give 1,80,000 more but I've decided to take my admission off, I've spent 2 semester here and realised that continuing this college will only led me to waste more money and time. I belong to a middle class family, I was giving my fees paid up by loans and I'm sure its a correct decision.. Rather than wasting more time and money I'd prefer to leave cause I've already wasted a lot time and can't waste more.. According to me if you think about the money you already gave, had been wasted so just stop continuing, it will waste more important opportunities for you and keep you away from your goals..

Hello sir! Can you please suggest what to do when you are surrounded by dull and non performing students? It personally affects me a lot and messes up things really bad. Want to do better in life!

But there are few colleges who say that Whether you continue or discontinue college , the full amount to be paid for the course and it's non refundable!!! What to do in tat case??

Yes, and approx majority of colleges takes the all total amount of course whether you continue, leave or discontinue.

@@theyfwastro yess yes I'm over It, graduated this year with a good GPA... Earning now! I'd would still say that they were the worst years of my life and I would rather not if I could take that decision again... but the past is past!

@@theyfwastro oh god! I totally understand, it gets difficult but you will survive and enjoy too... It's just a matter of time, focus on your degree and do more things outside of college. Don't rely on anyone, try to make few good friends, but in college don't just trust anyone... On a different note, if there is some place better you can go to! Different college or even courses, if you're sure you will be happy there.. research a bit and get out, we have only one life, why waste prime years in a place that sucks your soul. If thats not possible, just go with the flow, take care of yourself and do more things that make you happy.

Sir, Same here...Mai ek electrical engineer hoon but ab mai MBA karna chahta hoon kiu ke mujhe khud ki company start karna chahta hoon so mujhe MBA karna hoga but mujhe bilkul bhi idea ni h ke kahan admission loo kiu ke mujhe lagta hai same as engineering, MBA me bhi outdated knowledge ko ratta lagaya jayega Jo real world me exist ni krte honge... Please help me...
