@@joyce_rx thing is a few days ago I went after gara's part bp from meso (bronze rarity) with 11 relics. I legitimately got every possible reward from the relic except what I needed. Including the rare gold drop
> Waste 3 rad relics in a row that ended being bronze > You ran out of void traces and you decide to farm more > You instantly get a gold drop in an unwanted intact relic that you don't needed the gold drop :)
Yea straight up, i got exactly what i wanted from relics and then the one time i only needed the one part for a prime weapon it decided, NAH FUCK YOU in ozzyman reviews voice
@@nerflv3428 A while back, I saw Titania Prime Systems were gonna be vaulted so I planned to run some random relics to get some traces. First run with a random, some other dude got it.
Spends 100 traces to get a rad relic , gets silver forma or a bronze part of an evergreen prime. Then randomly runs void fissures , gets all required gold parts from randos with no relic refinement.
There is something crazy too: running void relics with random players (all 4 with intact) and we get two rare items to choose hahahaha 2 rares at the same time is a waste lol
Ah yes. The cruel untasteful joke of a reward. Silver forma. Almost as frustrating as getting a bronze from radiants, which should be outlawed for the sake of our time....
@@eyywannn8601 you mean it had two chances to drop forma or it gave 2 Forma Blueprints? Because I think We need to start getting 2 Forma Blueprints on silver drops lol
Ive learned that the key to opening relics is not wanting anything or hoping for anything. That way you wont be disappointed & you'll eventually get whole sets without realizing it.
this is works really well with idea of farming for ducats. the early player you are, the more likely when running pubs, that someone will not only bring a relic you need but get that part that you need randomly.
I will also remember the moment I sold a nekros prime bp (or rather one of the rare parts) for 100 ducats. I didn’t know trading was really a thing back then, but I later found out it was selling for 100s of plat. Never again.
@@Doot-O but you did get a loki prime from last month's tennocon, and also because of that the price for loki prime(components) are way lower, so it is not that much of a waste I guess
Pretty much i does feel it do nothing because as you can see in the start of the video, the percentages does no increase the get even, so the same way, 2% seems ridiculously lucky to get in a normal relic, this only get 5x more likely to happen in a radiat relic, and the odds for the other options such as only uncommon and common loot get narrower, instead of you getting for example in 10 prime tier lucky runs 3 common items, 6 uncommon, and the rest rare, you could get maybe 4 rares and uncommon loots and only get 2 common loots, so technically it does nothing but at the same time it helps A LOT with the grind it would be to get the 2% rare loot, that would be translated to pretty much 5x higher prices of prime warframes, and little things like the 70pl Gara Set would be something like 560plat, even though it's quite rare to find someone playing her
Shoutout to the Redeemer Prime Handle, the piece that far exceeded the usual 99.9% chance when compared to relics opened. I must have spent nearly a year of on-and-off farming to get that stupid part. Eventually, I just became too stubborn to buy it, lol. It was worth it though, that thing is great.
The best strategy that I have been doing is to take the desire relic and *pray* that you get it. It has worked well to where I got ivara and titania prime, solo
I think relics are my favorite loot boxes. *Rarity* : Yes, there are 4 main types, and theoretically Axi are rarer. But once you reach all the best nodes, Axi relics have the same drop chance (14%) as lith relics. Also, there's no "rarer" axi relic except for the vault ones (which actually had better drop chances with Prime Ressurgence). *Loot table* : 4 items per relic, instead of 100-200. You can focus your farm for a specific relic. *Drop chance* : 25% for specific common, 11% for uncommon and 2% for rare. Once fully upgraded uncommon becomes 20% and rare 10%. In other games you're be lucky if a lootbox has 2% for rare item. You can ALSO choose your teammates' reward. *Duplicates usage* : You can sell the relics or the duplicates you got. You can also sell them to Baro and get some nice cosmetics, mods and weapons. Also, chances are that when you were farming for a prime warframe, you got relics for another one you don't have.
Nice video.👍 Another strategy for farming rare part is to farm void traces and common part through intact relics. Then a rare part that you don't need will come out eventually.=_=
Just found your channel. I'm glad you're still making videos. This was super helpful to me since I'm returning after a 2 year break. Can't wait to work my way through your catalogue of videos.
What I personally do is I have a list of relics from which I already have everything and spamming those with random groups. Then spending the void traces to RAD those where I'm still missing the pieces, and looking for a radshare. Actually I have like 90% of my prime parts from the fist option, dropped by the randoms :D
Was farming for a Saryn Prime set today to help out a friend. Managed to get a full Nidus Prime set from other people's relics before I got the *common* systems to drop. Could not believe my luck
10:32 I have a strategy for getting rare drop out of a relic easily without using countless radiant relics. 1. collect a few void traces, (if you already have some then you're good) 2. if you have enough for a radiant then crack a radiant but if not then crack an intact. repeat till crack radiant 3. if you didn't get your rare you're looking for out of your radiant then repeat step 2 till it arives from what I have seen using this strategy, if you have bad luck the max relics you'll need is 20. And you'll most likely get the rare drop from and intact relic then from a radiant one
What if you can run solo missions in 2 minutes and public groups finish in 3.5 minutes? Edit: Capture and exterminate missions in particular. Sometimes in public groups someone joins late and everyone has to wait until they get 10 reactant, or someone just doesn't extract. On top of that, solo you can instantly repeat a mission without having to wait for others that may leave the squad or spend an additional minute picking which relic to run. Ken, help me solve this practical problem!
Still open in a group. you have a much higher chance to get something of value. i would say if you only just to farm some traces fast then you could go some solo openings.
that varies between group, every group is different and so a run's time efficiency is hard to calculate. Even so, the extra minute you save is probably less beneficial than the other people in your group. You're opening four relics at one time. Also the traces you get from running in a group will shave runs too
@@finnryczek8161 there's a high chance on paper, but if I can run 1.75 times the missions, in an hour, surely I'll get more ducats/platinum per hour by the sheer increase of relics opened even if the odds of a rare is lower.
RNG can bite pretty nastily when it comes to these relics. Personal example: 30 Radiant Relics when I was trying to get the Aklex Prime Link (I wanted the Mastery and did this during TennoCon). Switched to "any tier" of that relic and got the link off of an intact relic after about 6 more tries. One of the few times I've broken into angrish over a relic. ...I'll admit also as far as Void Traces, I'm holding a bunch of them until Nidus Prime arrives. Will likely run quite a few Radiant relics then.
one thing about running in a premade group is if you are hunting a specific rare item, if you all equip the same radiant relic it increases your chance on getting said item in fewer runs ;D
Yup. If all 4 players have a radiant of the same type, it should only take around about 1 round for the thing they all want to drop to drop. Neat. Good luck getting a full group like that tho- 😂
literally radiant-ed my relics for Atlas neuroptics and got nothing, finished all my traces and just went with an intact one and finally got it, bruh moment :(
I don't really do things optimally when it comes to Relics. I just Radiant the ones I need, and try to get the parts I'm looking for. EDIT: You forgot the most important part. What Mission Type is most efficient for farming Relics, and which is best for cracking Relics?
I knew most of these things but I didn't really know the math on if it's better to make flawless or radiant relics for rare/uncommon drops, now I do, thanks.
Sometime I can't believe I prepared 10 relics and got gold reward in the very first try when I was not expecting. The other time I only have 7 radiant and played 6 radshare to get one gold reward. Thank god I didn't run out of relics. That relic is a pain to farm.
step 1: do some ESO and get a few Radiant Relics step 2: open those to get some void fissures step 3: farm a few of the relics you want rare drops of and refine them (2 or 3 are usually a good amount) step 4: say "H/LF [relic] radshare" in team finding chat step 5: prey and get frustrated gg
I love the part where you assume I can even get a relic from a mission. I don’t how many times it’s taken more than 18 times to get a relic only for it to not have the piece I need
It was on the tip of my tongue for a while watching your videos and I finally know who you remind me of - XboxAhoy, the guy who makes the Iconic Arms series. Very similar timbre to you two.
Helpful tip, if you are running low on relics I highly suggest you purchase them from syndicates using standing as they are in my opinion the fastest way to get relics.
Captures on void missions are faster. Always a guaranteed relic from them, lith always from the lvl 15 one, and meso and neo from the lvl 30 one. Just take a speed frame with your best wep, and rush it. you can get a relic a minute, or every two to three minutes depending on load times. Axis are bit rougher since they need higher level missions. Interceptions can be good for them if you have a good squad, or max range max duration vauban to hold enemies in place as you hold all 4 points with his vortex grenade. His augment is very helpful. Hope this helps some
@@sylphario4468 If you don’t spend your rep on getting the relics, what do you spend the rep on? The tip is useful if you want to get the newest prime as quickly as possible. Steel Path Honors also sells relic packs.
I can get 30k rep a day, but others at lower master can maybe get up to 20k-25k. Taking into account that's 3 relics a day for multiple missions worth of effort. Relic packs are iffy. Augment mods are always desirable, as are syndicate weapons. and so are arch gun parts and melee parts.I usually end up helping either clan mates or newer players get augments, weapons or arch gun parts from the factions I'm apart of. So standing can be better spent helping others or selling mods atleast. As for steel path, if you're capable of handling that, you've earned the right to spend that on what you feel is best :) Also, syndicate medallions can be beneficial to find in syndicate missions, that's extra time for a potential 10k extra standing that day. Finding them can be a time consuming process unless you take a max range limbo to trigger cataclysm repetitively with a wide range loot detection mod on limbo to destroy the breakable on the map
The only thing that uncommon forma bp does for me is +5-10 traces when a friend has a common forma drop and I convince the others to select mine bc it's silver
I'm curious about the chances of multiple people in a rad squad getting the same rare reward. Of course you can only choose one reward, so the possibility of wasting rare relics and traces when two people get the desired part is enough to scare me and my friends into running 2x, 3x, or 4x the missions, with only one desired relic at once. If everyone has radiant vaulted relics, how many more desired rare parts can we expect to get compared to running 4x the missions with one at a time?
Running 4 times with one radiant relic each time does improve the number of rare rewards you could be getting from the relic. But it also drastically increases the time it takes to open them and is not worth it if you need the item only once. I believe you can find the math on the warframe wiki.
Knowing that I only have one chance at Garuda Nueroptics has been keeping me from opening that one relic. 10% chance to get what I want is higher than I thought it was tho.
If you want to get the rare from a relic, its good to hop in sup with 3 of your friends that also have the same relic (only one of you choses the radiant relic at a time) it might not be as effective as all going for the same relic on the same time, but if gives you a chance of getting more than just one of the desired item, something happend to me once that made me really mad, i went with a group of friends to farm a specific item that was rare and when we finally revealed the relics we all got the rare item on the same run... That means that 3 of those chances to get a rare got wasted ( I'm not sure if I'm being clear here)
Ducats isn't Do-kits it's duck-its... It's like hearing nails on a blackboard each time he says do-kits.. _(noun) Cash, money or bills, from "ducats": various gold coins formerly used in certain European countries_
A bit late to this and I'm certainly a new Warframe player. What I noticed about my relic runs is that when I dont look for specific rewards, I will 100% get them. And when I actually do need specific reward they just wont give me. But I've only been doing T1 Void Fissures atm so the range of rewards arent that big yet. But so far I agree that refining the relics seems to have help reduce the amount of grinding needed to get Uncommon/Rare rewards. Just need a little bit more luck after refinements.
tbh i just go solo in endless fissures because almost no public squad wants to go an hour, which is kinda lame. And I don't want to spend my time on recruiting chat as well.
In German servers we just play random Relic fissures. No private groups needed, because the mainstream relics or the new ones are hunted the most. Sometimes you get a gold drop of something vaulted. Which is nice too. English servers are a hassle with groups and all that. Like that changes anything
Supposedly running with less and less people boost the chance to get a rare or uncommon reward, not nearly as much as a dedicated group each running a radiant relic, even if that group only has one more person
in short. Only refine vaulted and highly desirable drops. you don't refine for avarage ducat runs. you could but unless you are in a radshare looking for the same drop, you could be in a radshare looking for the same drop and be in peach with silver and forma drops. its more rare to have only bronze drops without forma for intact squad than having a gold drop.
How to beat the percent of chance. 1. Haste of your game, get in, get the 2 task done, and get out. Haste adds to the the chance of a higher value reward. 2. Your first time playing a fissure mission, these missions change often, so go big on your first time on a mission as your chance of getting the top reward is highest. 3. Your mission is a problem, don't plan on a rare reward on a capture, excavation, survival, or defense. Many times, these type missions aren't designed for Fissure missions. Excavation issues are finding power cells as they spawn and the bots tend to hide or get stuck on the map. Survival and defense are on a 5 minute timer, so haste can't help you. Capture tasks are usually done in the first 400M, but the capture target is between 150M and 300M and the exit is 1200M beyond that, making haste difficult. 4. There is also a counter in the game that keeps track of the rewards you get. I bought 15 Volt Prime relics, then opened each in solo missions. I got the top reward first, then 6 Forma in a row, followed by a mix of rewards and Forma. On the 12th mission, the last Volt Prime part was given. This logic defies percent chance and basic RNG logic, which leads to the micro-management use of a counter. Remember to play until you see the code. Play a mission over and over until you see the logic.
A thing to note: if even one squad mate brings a relic that doesn't have any forma drops, then common formas on other relics have literally no impact on the expected amount of ducats compared to the "traditional" relic setup.
I find the best way to do relics is multiplayer railjack. You get no mission rewards and whatever relic reward you get offered is thrown out the window and you get a nice inbox message from DE after with your own personal relic reward. Still bugged 1 year later. Thanks DE keep making 'content'.
I’ve been playing this game for ab a week or so & reached mr 5, I’m genuinely enjoying the game, but the over complicity of this game is a major con for new players such as me. The mods don’t make sense. The damage don’t make sense. Opening relics don’t make sense. I’ve made it to Saturn going up against 20-30 lvl enemies & the most damage I’m doing is vv low & I die fairly quickly. I did the Saturn junction & literally the most damage I’ve done was 40. I do watch guides such as this one but 90% of what these ppl are saying goes right over my head & ab 10% of it makes sense.
People complaining about how bad rare item chances are lol. They should be glad that rares are so easy to get nowadays. I still remember Void Tower Rotation Rewards, where you didn't get to choose one of four rewards and to just get a CHANCE at getting a rare reward you had to do atleast 20mins of Survival/20 Waves of Defense. Some people just don't know how good they have it...
I believe the "real world math" had already been done somewhere else...maybe reddit or the WF forums, but the bottom line is...you always go for flawless. A full squad running flawless doesn't have much lower chances to get rares than a full radiant party, and the difference is that if you make the radiants and don't get it in the supposed 2 attempts, then you have to spend extra time farming more traces to make a third radiant, which are traces you'd already have if you were running flawless relics in the first place. I'd link it if I knew where I saw the graphs and probability vs time invested and why even though 4x radiant is theoretically the best option, running flawless is more consistent and better in terms of real-world application for reward/time invested (assuming you don't have an unlimited amount of traces to keep making radiant relics and have to actually stop and farm more void traces, of course) maybe it's in the wiki now, but I'm too lazy to go check.
I remember that a few years ago saryn prime was vaulted and in an event they give u 10 relics for every part and the chassis was a gold rarity , i farm 1000 traces to upgrade the 10 chassis relics and running a rad share team the chassis droped until the last relic we had in the team , in other words 39 rad trash relics and just 1 gold part
I find many players not knowing a common one can be 25 ducat or an uncommon one 65 ducat, they just picking by simply look at the sign of different class on the selection at the end of the mission.
i ran a fissure for the first time so I could open a relic, but I never got the option for a reward at the end. is this a bug? or did i do something wrong?
What is described is only the most optimal way to open a relic with the intention of getting plats. It is mostly irrelevant when you are farming for a specific weapon or warframe. The best information in the video is starting from 1:00 to 1:30.
When I started i had no idea I could pick the same reward as other people and was afraid I'd not get a reward lol. Just recently I noticed everyone gets it 😭
2:20 what do you mean by everyone can pick wichever reward they like? When it's cracked open and shows what I got, I can just click on the one of my group members? How does that work?
You can just choose someone else's yeah. So if one person's relic shows a rare item, everyone in the squad can walk away with that rare item instead of the less valuable item inside their own relic.
The relic system is the sole reason I wish there was a Pity system in this game, so I don't have to grind the Kogake Prime Gauntlets for a month and a half and only ever get bronze drops from all of those Radiants.
3:06 well most of the time people start farming a relic because they want something from said relic and odds are good it’s that rear item so their going to be trying their hardest to get them. Sadly if we are splitting it into numbers I run bog standard relics 90% maybe even 95% of the time as getting them traces is slow work and a bit disheartening when you need that Harrow prime system to drop for your syndicate rank up and it just won’t drop no matter how meny of that relic you open 😢, also if you have like 50+ of a relic odds are you will get everything from it sooner or later (I’m a little surprised I have so many of a single relic, but I have been running 1 mission a lot to level up gear).
If you have lots of the relic that's you're cracking, going Radiant for rare is an overkill if you only want one piece, I go flawless if i have 5+ relics and need only one rare. I'm not sure if exceptional is good, but it doesn't look that bad if you have time and relics, but no traces.
It'd be a short video. "Run relics as fast as you can. Vaulted or already upgraded relics are best so people choose your reward more often." That's all there is to it.
Smeeta + resource booster and avoid completing your 10 reactant until smeeta procs, just try not to waste time waiting for it if you're doing short runs like capture because the extra time might not be worth doing less capture runs.
