Sorry everyone for not including the video, I gave it a tried but my reaction got blocked right away! It's always the same thing when I do music from Warner or a label associated with Warner RIP... At least we have the music and I guess that this is the reason why you guys are here :P
Honestly, I'm shocked at how different the instrumentals sound. Very light and sounds more like electronic radio rock. The only thing that hints that it's metal is David's vocals. Other than that, it's typical Disturbed.
Yeah I think that from an instrumental perspective it's a downgrade from previous stuff. But the vocals are really an improvement compared to the last two. Sounds more like vocals from Ten Thousand Fist era. The solo by Dan Donegan was super sick as well!
Yeah, the solo was dope and David's vocals are still great despite his age. But, I'm gonna wait until they release some more stuff before making a final judgment on whether I'll be checking the album out or not.
Yeah, the instrumentals on 90% of ‘The Vengeful One’ were noticeably less gritty than *any* of their previous work. It made the album feel really lackluster to me. None of the tracks (other than the track) really had any traction or punch, no matter how similar they were in pattern to previous work. Something about the mixing just felt too clean cut. Same here. It really feels like they’re just writing worse versions of songs they’ve already done.
In my opinion the song is a mix of ten thousand fists and down with sicknesses the video I think is a mix of the threat is real from megadeth and spit out the bone from metallica. Still a good start to the album evolution.
It annoys me though how everyone is hating... they obviously dont give a damn about davids vocal cords "oh we want heavier" then go listen to all the saturated metal on spotify lmao
@@MetalBreakdown jte trouve pas, ton nom est fkg trop commun, add Raphaël Turcotte, j'ai des lunettes de soleil sur ma photo pis je viens de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu 😂
Meh. I think I'm done with Disturbed. They are just too formulaic now. Same song structure. Same vocal melodies. Same melodic solo. Everything they have put out since Indestructible sounds like it could be on the same album. Sucks. Their first 2 albums were amazing and were creative. Bums me out because they were my first heavy music band I got into.
Chazz Thompson-King I like the new song. It's more industrial sounding. If their pitch is accurate not every song on the record will sound like this one. Every band of all of existence has the same song structures. That critique doesnt work because even bands from the 80s use the same formulas.
