I got my Tease SBH-HD tele style yesterday and I cannot believe what a great guitar it is. Out of the box it was setup perfectly and the color is beautiful (purple burst). Fit and finish as good as any guitar I’ve seen and I have several Gibsons, a Heritage, and an Eastman as well as others. The Tease is one of the few guitars that I won’t need to have setup. It was ready to go. Only thing I did was lower the pickups a tad for my taste and replaced the strap buttons with the ones I prefer. I had an American Strat last year that I didn’t bond with so I sold it. Had no plans to get another S style, but I’m so impressed with my Tease tele style that I will likely order one of these soon to check it out. And you’re right, the owner is a cool dude who knows how to treat customers and is very quick to respond to any questions. I emailed him a couple of times and heard back within 10-15 minutes. Great guitar, great company, great price. How can you beat that?

Happy new year Joe. Tease guitars are bringing a better instrument at this price point with EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I Had a question about the telecaster model and in 2 minutes I was texting with the owner of the company! This is unheard of today at any price point. Great video and excellent guitar and customer service. Also the electronics on these guitars are much higher quality. Using shielding full pots and better resistors. Can't beat the Tease guitars at this price point. Stay well my friend and have a Superb 2024.
Ooh, a Tease guitar! This is the 2nd review I’ve seen of one, and I’m impressed! Unfortunately, I just got a new Firefly FFTL (which I’ll be reviewing on my channel soon), but Tease is definitely on my radar now! I love Torsten’s personal story, too-after all, I believe a good guitar reflects the stories of the person who made it, and over time, the people who played it!
Great backstory on this guitar company. This may be enough of a differentiating factor (e.g. former 80’s musician, recovering alcoholic, now with new passion to keep sober and busy to stay that way) so that could help him in the crowded beginners/budget brand market. A lot of people can identify with that and music is good for rehab. Anyways, another good independent review.

Looks like a decent guitar for a beginner and that headstock is a much better shape than a lot of other strat clones. I'd want to see the pots, wiring quality, tuner ratio and quality of their mechanisms before I'd chance playing a gig with it without having he assurance of a back up guitar, but for a beginner at home it looks great and sounds more than good enough and at that price, you could probably get another one as a back up anyway and still not have spent too much. With a screwed on neck and a basswood body, it's not going to have the sustain of a set neck guitar made from some more expensive wood, and it probably would get dented more easily because of that softish basswood too if you were gigging around with it a lot, but for someone starting out, it's more than good enough straight out of the box and cheap enough to not get too precious about. Even so, like most cheap guitars made these days, it's waaay better than the awful garbage we older types learned on years ago - particularly for having a decent set up and some alnico pickups on arrival - which is vital if a beginner is to be encouraged to stick at it. We usually had to attend to all that stuff ourselves if we didn't want to end up with bleeding fingers from having an action like a cheese grater and frets which looked like they'd been finished off with an angle grinder.
I saw this Teace Guitar and Company a few weeks ago. It sounds terrific! A few bucks more than a standard budget guitar however many of the parts are much better so it’s a very good value imo. If Torsten continues his promise of a pro setup before the customer receives it then I think he’ll do well and the Customer will greatly benefit. I wish Torsten much luck and success. Not trying to be a Danny Downer but that headstock is awfully close to a Strat headstock. Slight bird's beak there but way less than the Monoprice Indio. Better looking than the Indio, frankly, but wouldn't surprise me if there's a lawyer letter in the mail soon to Tease from Fender.
