Hopefully it will be here this week , (ordered on 5/15) but with delayed shipping due to COVID 19, not quite sure when it will arrive . On a good note , my Jolly Bar 2 book and fabric has arrived . I love it! I am so far behind in my youtubin that I have been playing catch up. I just binge watched all of May (thanks so much for adding them to a playlist). I am a new quilter and learning free motion has been on the top of my list. I have so many panels, so I am starting with one that has two smalls and a larger panel. If it gets messed up I don't care! Thank you so much!

I think I'm ready for Tues FMQ will see. Like the clip board idea for free motion will try it out tonight after watching you. Finish up my small projects and cleaned up a little for tomorrow. Did all the sewing machine items oil, needle change etc. Had to laugh when you said cool beans that is my sons saying he uses all the time. Stay Safe and Sew on till Tues a.m.

Hi all, Just got a new Bernina 570QE and was surprised it didn’t come with a free motion foot. For what I paid it should’ve come with a walking foot too. I need to go get one.

There should be 3 feet that attach to the BSR. Any of those will work beautifully.

Miriam Moore I’m new to using the BSR function. I’m starting with the open metal sole. I’ll probably experiment with the different feet. Good luck! Also, the dual feed feature serves as the walking foot. A hint I found very helpful is to decrease the pressure on your presser foot to about 45 for piecing and general sewing.

I’m reading “Teach My to Machine Quilt”. Could you clarify pg 9 #2 Divide the Width-“68” divided by 40”. I don’t understand where 40 came from. Width of quilt divided by width of back would be 60 divided by 68??? Maybe it’s supposed to say divide width of quilt back by one half quilt length??
