Are You Satisfied With What Jesus Has Done?

Are you satisfied with what Jesus has done on the cross? Or are you saying, "Jesus died, yes, but I must..." You must what? You must sit and cease from your doing and trust that Christ has done it all. If God is satisfied with what Jesus has done, then why can you not be satisfied as well? Why must you try to add some work or feeling of your own to try to complete His perfect work?

After several head injuries,broken back. Much physical and neurological and sociological pain and suffering for years I still remember Jesus revealing himself and the cross to me as little boy. The living reality that transforms a life has grown dim as though a heavy fog has set in by the seashore. I agonize that his finished work of love is still for me such a sinful man. I am more aware of my sins than I am of his living grace. I pray that he would refresh and restore me as I sit still as quiet as I can be. Without him theres no hope. No peace. No purpose. Theres nothing in this world for me.

The preaching of the cross, the message only gets sweeter, it only makes more sense every time, I only rejoice more in my lack, and rejoice more in His sufficiency. Praise Almighty God, Bless our Lord His Christ. God surely loves us

This was so sweet and comforting to my soul. Rather than a sermon, I was hearing a long prayer of gratitude and a song praise from the heart. To GOD be the GLORY for his precious Son - Christos. There is none like him.

My heart has heartened, spirit is quenched, I was born again February. I have blasphemous thoughts, negative thoughts, and I hate it! I use to feel my conscious heart, I have strayed away, I don’t don’t ever want to get to the point of suicide. Family doesn’t understand cause they think it’s lack of sleep and not eating, this is a battle in the mind! Yes that can help to a degree but no one will win in your mind but you. We fight against disobedient thoughts and put them to the obedience of Christ. I may sound like I know what I am talking, please don’t. But talking about other videos you come across from over RU-vid channels can say something and it can make you start believing in those “wisdom of man” than our Creator God Almighty! please pray for me, I am scared, lost, hopeless, but pushing on. I will make it to Heaven. With our brothers and sisters . Thank you and I pray to all who are going through any horrible battle, to please reside on the words of our Mighty King and Lord, Jesus Christ . Don’t lose hope, those who PERSEVERE THROUGH THE TRAIL WILL RECEIVE THE CROWN OF LIFE.

I have been there, Jesus Christ has given me the victory, we have the same sufferings across the world as the saints but Christ is faithful, He will calm the storm! Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. Go to His word my brother He will renew your mind.

Blasphemous thoughts are awful, yet by the Spirit, we can put all sin to death. Keep praying, and examine your life for idols, and flee from idolatry. Pray in between doing things, always pray, and seek God. Sharpen your mind with scripture and again, keep praying. Love you my friend, will pray for you now.

speaker reminds me of William Still, it is always good to see a short by I'll be honest. our faith is all about the Saviour. It is something we need reminding of every minute. It's endless the toil we make for ourselves when we take our eyes off the Lord and his works. And instead of fixing them firmly back on the Lord we look to something we can do. When we ought to realise there is nothing we can do. We must look to Jesus.

Obviously faith without works is dead.altho God will guide his people Into good works that please him!

Isaiah 64:4 “We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment.” Our works do not contribute to our salvation whatsoever. They are worthless. Romans 3:28 “For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.” Our works cannot please him. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:16). That’s the whole point. Salvation is completely of God. God saves us by Himself. But men would rather die and go to hell because they want to take part in their own salvation rather that to put their trust completely alone in Christ and His finished work on the cross. Galatians 2:21 “I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.”

This is what Paul meant when he said: "I have decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified" (1 Cor 2:2) and "We preach Christ crucified" 1 Cor 1:23

Verses like the verse in the Book of James talking about faith without works is dead sometimes makes me feel like im faothless because I examine myself and I know that I believe in what Christ has done and that it is enough, but there are a few verses that show us that if we aren't doing this or that, then we don't have true faith. I don't want to sound like I’m accusing God or blaming him for the way I am. I take full responsibility for it, but I am lost

I feel you. I think there is a difference between doing a work in order to be a child of God, and doing a work because you are a child of God. A plant doesn’t grow fruit to prove that it is a plant. It grows fruit because that’s what a plant does. So if you believe in Christ, then do! Just simply do. Do it by faith, by belief in Christ. Serve, love, preach, figure out what God made you to do, and do it. Don’t let Satan deceive you.
