What a wonderful word you came up with: voice-abuse...I rescued my voice from long childhood trauma where I used to cry and shout most of the time. I learnt from my husband that they are people who talk from their stomachs...such a deep voice ❤❤❤
Can you please make a video on the musical instrument mobile apps that beginners and even experienced singers should use or should stay away from. I’m talking about the many different harmonium apps, piano apps, tanpura apps, sitar apps etc on play store and other app stores? Should we use those or be mindful of those? How different should our technique be when using those mobile apps that emulate those instruments rather than the instruments themselves. There’s not a lot of guidance on RU-vid about this particular topic.
pratibha ji my answer is no to your five questions ,but it happened once that i really got angry during a meeting and i had to shout to make others understand.for two days i could not talk clearly and also during my kritan bhajan session i could not sing properly.henceforth will listen to your advice .thank you pratibha ji.namaskaar.
I now exactly know where to sing. My habit of pushing is very hard to rid but I'm getting there. That s the reason I wanted YOU to guide me after an initial accessment which unfortunately your organisation does not allow. 😢
Its really helpful video ....because I am suffering from throat problem...your videos are really helpful to understand why I am having voice issues....thank you so much...
The first thing happens in me but only when i have to hit high notes i somewhat move my head upwards but not for the low notes... How can i correct it?
@voxguru, excellent topic, Yes , my head tilts up while reaching higher notes. Am not a trained singer though. But doing riyaaz few days a week has helped me a lot. I follow Anol Chakraborty sir on RU-vid , whose vlogs have helped me a lot. Jk Karnataka 🎻🎸🎼
Your voice is so good Mam can you please tell me some songs to practice because i am a singer in my school and i really like your voice its just so good😊

1 Head moves up and down - Yes 2 Shouting to sing high notes - No 3 Applying force on gamakam - No 4 Lower octave sound airy - Yes (for pa) 5 Voice abuse - Yes 😢
@@VoxGuruI tried to correct the first test, if I don't move my head up ,when I sing the high pitch it sounds like shouting which is giving a "Yes" for second test.
No mam ..bt still I don't know my perfect pitch... I practice pitch B and some times I practice in G# ... I always doubted which is great to me... Bt both pitchs also comfortable for me..bt sound is little lower in G#
Consciously keeping your volume down in certain activities wherever possible, proper breathing techniques and in general not crossing a certain threshold of vocal strain at any point could be a good way to track this. Hydration is also very important to avoid friction in the throat.
Even for the heavier ragas, Gamakas can be executed smartly without damaging vocal cords if we understand the nuances of the oscillations and glides. Instead of applying too much pressure on the throat, one should understand how to use the vocal registers to generate power. The Raga I sang in my example is Shankarabharanam, which in its pure form is considered quite a heavy ragam, but even such Ragas can be executed without vocal strain and will infact sound better that way.
I have started singing songs on Karaoke Tracks for a few months and now it has become my habit, no one likes my songs except me😂, I have determined if you allow I will learn some authentic music, meanwhile should I stop singing in Karaoke Bollywood Tracks to Preserve my vocal health or may continue with that?

I would recommend regular voice training at least for 6-8 months. We have a 6 month live course where we work on developing good vocal technique and vocal skills. If you are interested to explore this, please drop us a WhatsApp message at 91 98402 43715 and we can discuss further.
Hello mam... My voice has almost damaged.. I cannot sing properly and it's straining too much I had voice rest medication everything but not helping... How to recover with it...plz need help
Unfortunately I’m not qualified to treat vocal damage clinically. Please visit a good doctor and follow their guidelines for treatment and therapy. Often these conditions are reversible but it takes time. So try and be patient and let’s hope for the best 🙏
Hope you will work on them and get proper guidance for voice training. Drop us a WhatsApp message at +91 98402 43715 if you wish to explore our courses.
If there is a regular strain all day, please consult a doctor to find out if there is a physical injury to the throat. If it is fine usually but strained only during singing then it can be fixed by regular voice training and correcting your technique. Do WhatsApp us at +91 98402 43715 if you are looking for guidance on voice training.
Don’t be disheartened. Try to consult an ENT doctor to understand the exact problem. Most of these issues are reversible if you undergo proper guidance.

How much you would practice and how we can make our vocal to be stable.. kindly advice.. because many times when i would have improved my music skills because of this cold and cough i will be back a step again so I will have to again concentrate on improving my voice.. how can we keep our voice stable in these situations.. kindly make a video mam.. thanks!!🙏
Have u ever heard of a gana singers.Their voice is the perfect representation of vocal damage which means they usually used to shout and rip their vocal cords because they think that's cool or some bullshit .Thats why their voice is kind of rusty.I and suggest u not to do that❤

Each teacher has a different technique to gauge a student's skill and guide him/her to improve... But it is sad that we can only hear your talk here. You don't teach yourself. Other teachers teach in Vox guru. You are not even approachable...
Every individual teacher has human constraints on how many students they can handle. It is naturally not possible for me to teach everyone directly, though I would love to. But that doesn’t mean I can’t help other students who are beyond my personal reach. I have designed a great curriculum and worked closely with our teachers to provide the same quality that I would. I have created self learning courses that have reached so many students who are unable to learn directly. I read every comment on this channel personally and I’m very much connected with every live student at voxguru through master classes and open feedback channels. Hope you will be more reasonable in understanding the scale we operate in and the challenges that come with it.
@@VoxGuru your videos here are very useful, madam I must say. They are commendable. My gratitude for them. I was impressed and called Vox guru. And understood that you yourself don't teach. So I asked them to help me talk to you. But I couldn't get to you. So, didn't join
