I spent a lot of years in high school and college trying to figure out how to do what you did and I am truly humbled and impressed by your virtuosic talent and creative execution to the extent that I couldn’t let another moment pass without communicating that to you. I send videos of Ployphia to my band members to beg them to cover your stuff (as the drummer, I’m the only one who can play it {no offense to Clay- who I revere above most as one of the greats of our generation}). Sorry for the weird punctuation but my second degree was in English after theatre/music performance didn’t yield spectacular results.

I found you and polyphia a few months ago, I always wanted to play guitar but never actually went out and tried it. Well because of you and Cory Wong i decided to go get a guitar and start learning it and it was the best thing I've done in years. My only regret is not starting ealier. Though i may never be able to play like you its my dream to be able to. Keep rocking on!

An R&B collab album with guest voice talent would be pretty sick. I think it's totally fine to release albums that aren't directly aligned with your usual sound/genre as side projects. Call it Polyphia - B-Side or whatever. This track clearly still has a Tim Henson flare to it, I don't care that it's not the Prog Rock/Prog Metal/Math Rock/etc. that I 'expect'. Hearing Scott and the Clays lay down their own jam track to this would be awesome -- there's so much meat to the bass line and drums on the original track, and clearly enough to riff on the melody for both Tim and Scott to do their stuff.
