Maybe this video is aimed towards people that are tempted to get lean before they start doing calisthenics. So thank you for your kind words, they are encouraging.
of course not!!! I'm 26% bodyfat and I love calisthenics. Though I will say it's much harder to get into especially some of the more advanced stuff as a big boy, I'm aim to lose another 50~60lbs, but I'd been doing basic progression incline pushups and inverted rows ever since I was 330lbs and like ~50%+ bodyfat. If you got a body and you can use said body, use that body and no matter your size you can watch it become the strong body!!
Imagine how easy this guy makes it seem doing clapped pull-ups at his weight,he's massive and he's doing them easily, imagine if he lean how explosivly would he have done them??? Im seriously impressed
It took me 5 years to improve my pullups from zero to one. Now after 8 years, I lost 20kg and can do 10 pullups. It was a hard fight and pretty frustrating with little to no progress in the first few years, but now I am pretty happy that made it this far. And I definitely will continue...
Me: even though I’ve never worked out, wall pushups will be laughably easy… let’s try. Me after wall push ups: 😮💨😮💨😮💨😩😩😩 Any movement is better than no movement, and I can already feel myself getting stronger. I’m slowly decreasing the angle. 💪
I find this name of this short so dumb 😂😂 how can viewers or people thing in that way comon dude exercises are done to keep you fit and keep body weight normal and build strength so what fat have to do with calisthenics 😂😂
Pride gets in the way of people working out with the body. People think pushups are easy because they are the earliest and most used thing. Military, gym and especially in school. It makes people think pushups are beginner workouts but the truth is they are full body and if any one group is weak it fucks up the pushup. So people think if they cant do a pushup they are weak and refuse to knee pushups
there is a too fat and to heavy for calistenics if you ask a 600LB guy to do assited anything you think its gonna work? those bands will break in an instant. these type of workouts is best to do when your at a optimal bodyweight that way your joints and bones arent put through massive strain and injury can happen instead of asking a 400LB guy to do these movement you should behelping him lose weight to 200LB where he can actually do them without risking issues. when i was 18 i weighted 250LB, lost weight and gain some muscle till i reached 170LB and doing muscle ups and 1 handed push ups and pull ups came naturally i did nothing to even know i could do them, i went rock climbing and easily lifted myself up with 1 hand even i was surprise.
False im 350 started calistenics at around 380something first with resistance band help now i do 250 pushups in an hr,250 dips in an hr,250 inverted rows in an hr..only after 6 months ...but i use to lift weights and always had some strength
💯Facts, been doing it myself as oversized guy for last 6 months and Calisthenics transformed look of my body & strength, while eating the proper human diet “meat”
What if I have tendinitis in my elbows sooo painful that I can’t put any pressure on my arms? I can’t even blow my nose without it really hurting my arms
Ye sure u can always scale down but u can be 'fat' depending on your goals. I bulked up 8kg and lost a lot of my skills and even after cutting down 4kg i'm still much weaker then 1 year so yeah it all just depends on what u want
What about too sick? I m a 45 year old woman who has almost never done heavy excercise in my life. I have also run my calcium and vitamin D into the ground. I m obese and i want to lose weight. How do i do it without breaking bones?
@@deltalima6703 Lol. How is it "alright/fine"?. Would have taken u time to write/type the reply, right? ( Sorry, didn't get the meaning). Anyway, u can atleast direct me to some articles /videos or something... 😐
Personally, I think for heavier folks to handle pullups and dips with extra weight they get more out of it. I'm 227 lbs and still crank out plenty of both with pushups, rows, squats, and I've even been able to workout with bodyweight extensions and curls.
Why do assisted calisthenics when you can use a gym machine. It loses all the meaning of bodyweight exercises. Excersise is all about how you use the gravity. Terms as weight and calisthenics are human words we use and nothing more
@Un1234l You are answering to another subjects because I talked specifically about max strength and you are talking generally. You calisthenics fanboys don't fully understand a lot of things and just support it all the time
@@uchiha2441 You you don't mention anything about max strength, only speaking generally, and yet you act as if people can read your mind through text. Absolute clown.
@@uchiha2441fanboy? You can call someone a goku or OPM fanboy or whatever but how the hell do you call someone a calisthenics fanboy? What’s so about embracing fitness instead of playing video games in your mothers basement all the day?
try stretchings, like Yoga Sun Salutation, to get a better feel for your back. and do slow squats as far down as you can. stay in the down position for a while, to stretch and mobilize the back. and do CARs (controlled articular rotations), especially including the neck ( yes the neck), too. go slow. be patient. be careful.
@@darklight4867 Volume = reps. Basically think of it as imagine only doing 10 reps a week vs doing 200 reps a week. 10 max lift reps vs 200 50% max lift reps. You're not gonna grow much doing 5 max lift repss compared to 200 50% reps. Not enough stimulus for the muscles to be worked, grow and repair. Jeff Nippard, Greg Doucette, and other people have great YT videos regarding training volume for varying goals.
@@Un1234l Ian barseagle said himself that even when u train for strenght u will still grow but i dont i think u thought i dont know how to train for strenght but i do,i need to hit failiure 3-6 reps
Calisthentic is not for people who are too big or too fat Usually, people with an athletic, muscular build do this sport Older people would often get injured during the exercises or would not even be able to perform them
