Arena Breakout PC NEW Beta Details & Gameplay | More Shots at Tarkov 

I'm going to trust the process on this. My little brother is a huge Arena Breakout mobile fan and he was always trying to drag my ass into his lobbies. This game looks pretty gnarly. I'm thinking this F2P route is dangerous for the boys over at BSG because what they have to advertise now is essentially a more premium version of AB:I and if this game is even 75% as good as Tarkov, they're going to have to really hit the war room and figure out how to go forward.

I’ve played the mobile version and I can confidently say it’s not pay2win, the microtransactions in the game are for like weapon blueprints/skins pretty much or like clothes for your character (the clothing looks pretty normal too and isn’t immersion breaking). There is also a monthly subscription thing that gives you like some extra money, more stash space and like a secure container. The game is surprisingly fair and is actually pretty good and fun for what it is. (Basically just a more casual and accessible tarkov)

I think the launch will be better than GZW in my opinion and they’ll be fast to respond to their players needs.

That crunch joke was golden :) This might be good stepping stone for few of my buddies. Tarkov is too time consuming and complex for few some of them. So we usually play Hell Let Loose or PUBG( which as a game sucks donkey balls, but is fine in the background while shooting shait in Discord)

tbh, I welcome the teammate indicator. SO many times the coms are not on point in tarky and it gets you killed. I get it for immersion, and i dont hate it, but to know if its my team coming around the corner without saying anything is a welcome feature

microtrans i know about from mobile: season pass buying in game currancy skins and cosmetics gear packs stash boxes (there is a possibility to obtain them trhou tasks and the traders) thas all i can remember for now

I am SO excited for this game! I havent tried the mobile game either but i love how they got a lot of the details that i love.... really nice models of weapons and armour when you are in your character screen and i feel like they basically seem to have taken the best things in tarkov and with the graphics i just hope the gameplay will feel smooth and fun. Cant remember the last time i was this excited about a pc game! I tried Gray zone but it was kinda what i expected a game with potential but very far from finished and with a lot of problems they need to fix for the game to be fun. This game however could be the next big thing... i have a good feeling about this. Honestly i think everyone wants a good new shooter even Warzone players will probably get this if it lives up to the hype.

The game isn't p2w. skill is needed, all money does is speed up the process or gets you more storage and skins. I've played the mobile game for three months straight when it first dropped and had no problem without spending a single dime on the game. in game currently isn't hard to obtain as the market can get you rich without even entering raids. There's counters to everything in the game, so for example if someone has top tear a low budget mp5 can easily take care of them. Again you can have the best gear but without skill that doesn't mean anything. The game won't be p2w and is very friendly to new users.

If this game is even decent, we could be entering the golden age for extraction shooters. Pubg is working on an extraction shooter, the division, we have EFT, GZW. It’s could possibly be a really good year or two for fans of the genre. Being able ti bounce between games. We will see.

It's subscription based. They chunk it out there are different subs around 3-8 dollars. I would compare it to maintaining a battle pass with extra steps

It is unreal engine 4 but looks like they've customised or extended the UI interface to a more user friendly design

At least I can maybe try this since I'm confident my pc will struggle with GZW and Tarkov is too expensive and I'm probably too casual.

Currently waiting for this and Vigor to release. Had to refund GZW. It just didn't run well on my PC.

grey zone already has different versions which sucks, seems like they're taking the tarkov route. from what I remember the cheapest case in the game is 2.99 and the next one is 6.99, give or take a bit, I don't exactly remember the number. at least this is a full game were getting on release. you also can unlock those same cases and use them for limited times, there's tons of things the game gives you by just playing

I'm so excited for the future of gaming with UE5 and I'm more excited about the companies that are trying to capitalize on tarkov fucking up. I hope arena is awesome. I'm worried nothing will replace the tarkov experience but I'm happy with gzw and it's future so I think I'll be fine without tarkov for the rest of my existence.

Very much a more casual approach. At this point I prefer to support GZW and this than Tarkov

That's gonna be the end for Tarkov... Only a die hard player base will remain.

GreyZone Warfare has better graphic quality but the environment doesn't have enough immersion because of those very similar and blend color palette for the whole area.

I'm still waiting to see how the microtransactions play out but honestly... I don't see how it could be worse than the $150 I spent on Tarkov and especially the bullshit they're pulling right now with that probably being the definite future with BSG.

Micro transactions is buying ingame money gear and case and skin even but most almost 99% only spent money on case and skin and it rarely for people to spent money on ingame money and gear because the gear are cheap to buy with ingame money and they make it expensive with real money and for ingame money micro transaction is very small amount compared to price of real money and you can make those kind of micro transactions ingame money by simply playing the game so no one buy those player only by case like 2x2 or 3x2 case for 2x2 it 3$ per month and 3x2 case are 10$ per month they also give you free 1x2 case by simply playing the game grind for rank points and use it to buy a bunch of stuff and 1x2 case(my English is not good 😅)

Not gunna lie for as lil as i play mobile games its great just get your controls set up the way you feel comfortable

This is all unreal engine. Mobile game plays great. You have plenty of stash space but you can buy upgrades and rolls for rare loot as well as battle pass . Nothing I would really consider pay to win. You have access to the auction house early on so You can always scav and make money. Gunsmith is great. The game will be awesome.

The mobile to PC comparisons look more like PS3 to PS4, honestly, but it's still a noticeable difference.

From some gameplay, the ttk seem very long and seem spongy.

That was not a good before and after of the mobile to pc changes, stopping the differences halfway through was just piss poor effort imo

How big are the maps? Are they bigger or smaller than tarkov?

My instincts tell me that the game will not be a Tarkov killer.

Micro transactions don't effect gameplay other than being able to buy your buying power , and cool bundles and skins , emotes, voices and man when your on a losing streak and losing money from campers and snipers , you buy koen, but they have cheap packages as well 50c to 3.99 bundles to keep you fighting or you buy koen from 4.99-99.99 but with just the 4.99 you get 300k koen and that can last you easily until you win a match , it's easy to win just play your matches right as you would in real life and till this day I havent been meet with hackers yet 🤔 I'm just worried computers playing would bring better hackers into it

They never show the crazy skins in the trailers. They want them to be immersive and look good..

What about map sizes? most of the time they show the same places, I dont want to play Deathmatch, I want extraction tactical gameplay

Really hope this game is good not a shot at GZW but the gameplay loop imo was kinda mid and of course all the other issues mainstream has been mentioning. Fingers 🤞

Game will stand and fall with the microtransactions....if it becomes the typical mobile game way it will be dead quickly.

My fears are that this game is like EFT and COD had a baby. However, the baby is very high maintenance. The baby craves money and is full of microtransactions, unrealistic skins (Bruce Lee = Niki Minaj), and pay to win. Because the baby's momma works for a mobile gaming company and the father works for Tenzin. I'll stick with Gray Zone.

Have probably 3k tarkov hours and 1.5k of arena. Arena will be bigger because it’s basically the cod of tarkov. Its simple but not to simple. It takes every issue I have with tarkov and makes it simple. It had stash sort before tarkov…. Just saying.
