Really enjoy seeing these non-vintage cube drafts sprinkled in. To be clear, love the cube drafts. But it is good to have the variety. Hope to see these a little more often!

Hey LSV, I was your opponent - sorry about your unlucky draws and thanks for sharing this video - I get to learn and improve on my mistakes. Feel bad for you flooding out - honestly I thought I would lose game 3 there. I think I had to force you trade the Altisaur or I would be dead very quickly on 6 life, although you're right that earlier attacks have been terrible. I think I was scared of combat tricks, but it turns out I would've lost to them later anyways. Playing from Australia, I had to join draft 1 at 1 am and draft 2 at 7 am after a 3-hour sleep. Definitely made a lot of bad plays after that. Anyways, really enjoy your videos! Hope we meet again on the battlefield and you crush me hard :)

Great content, love the non Cube drafts! Especially when the stakes are so high. In game 3 when he casts the Explore X spell for 2 I really felt like there wasn't the need to rush it out as he was sitting at such a high life total. Obviously in the situation it's hard to see and I understand why he made that play.

I really enjoyed getting to see this video. It was really interesting to see you in professional mode. I'm sorry it didn't end as well as we'd hoped, but it was nice to get to be a small part of it.

personally i really like the non vintage cube videos a lot. i think it would be cool to see more of a smattering of different formats. awesome content.

Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but were you actually in any rush to play the spelunker for 2 instead of 5 or 6? Feels like the card selection + potentially bigger body was worth more than the tempo at that point.

I really appreciated this video. **SPOILERS BELOW** * * * * * * * It was actually refreshing to see someone, who many (including myself) consider to be one of the best in the game tackle a challenging draft with some stakes on the line. Even though the packs and picks didn't roll his way many times, it was very beneficial for me to see a player of his caliber approach this kind of situation. So often, I think that pro players always draft perfectly, find the best lane right away, and win every game after assembling the most optimal deck. This video showed me how challenging limited can be for anyone, and how sometimes you can make what you feel is the best decision with the information available to you, and still things might not work out. There's never a perfect path, and sometimes, despite your best efforts, things don't work out the way you wanted. Yet still, there's something to be learned from the experience, and as long as you gained knowledge, it wasn't a fruitless pursuit. I need to remember that more. Thanks for all the great content!

Cool to see you in professional mode LSV! Maybe as an idea you can make the videos longer with just a still image at the end as a spoiler block, looking at the video length I already knew this was not going to end up well. Idk if the algorithm likes that though.

I remember last time had the time to Day 2 one of these I ran afoul of YellowHat in my penultimate round for cash. My deck was a similar medium-good versus The Nuts.

Confluence is a 5 mana 6/6 haste as long as you have a cave in deck and have one on the field and it's a 9/9 I think it's alright, and has the other mode just in case.

You are the most land-flood cursed player I've ever seen! It's like watching a slow-motion train wreck... I can't look away. Ha. Still always enjoy the content nonethless!

In the draft you were quite unlucky to never see removals and combat tricks, you'd need them. Probably you could pick more 2 drops (e.g. p3p7 and p3p8), for being sure of casting etali's favor t3. The third game was insane, you played perfectly, but the mtg gods didn't help you... good luck for the next one, nice draft!

Sunken Citadel was an option as a manafixing land. Seems betetr than the mediocre merfolk.

kinda surprised LSV passed on like a million Idol of the Deep King, I dont think that card is great in RG dinos, but I would have definitely prefered to play one of those over the 35th kincaller but oh well I guess it doesnt matter when your opponent has a deck with 20 copies of Captain Storm, what a ridiculous card

Damn dude respect for staying so calm i would have raged ... rarely drawing carnosaur, discover into spelunking, so many land draws ... but i have to say i watch a lot of good mtg arena players and came to the conclusion that 17 lands is not ideal.. so many games lost bc of mana flood - i play 15-16 lands and feel better with it.

I'm surprised LSV didn't take the Sunken Citadel, even with 0 other caves it's an etb tapped fixing land. The deck doesn't have many one drops that would punish the tapped land.

I love LSV and I don’t usually disagree with his draft picks too much, but when he passed up the Earth shaker Dread maw for the 1st of 5 kin-callers I was screaming at my screen like I was watching a QB throw an interception.

I cannot believe you drew 4 lands in a row late game. Normally Arena detects if you're using screen capture software to adjust their shuffler accordingly. Must be a bug ATM, since you got the rigged-for-failure one (for whatever reason. I assume you won too many games in your last 9 games in ranked limited). Usually you get the real-probability-shuffler in best of 3 when you use OBS. still, though, LSV, thanks for uploading 0-X drafts Still you, still entertaining

And I called the mountain. Honestly MTGA is pathetic for lands. I more often than not count 8 - 12 lands in the first 14 - 16 cards. I've dropped down to 15 lands in each draft deck and have not noticed any difference in not getting lands.
