True, I think it’s even on par with the Mox he took. I bet some decks would prefer it, especially in a green deck with lots of one drop acceleration already. *Oops, I read your comment as oko. But I agree also with uro, it does seem to be great in decks that are able to cast it.

I think the main reason for it not to be drafted higher is the strict mana cost.

@@bumpasaurus487 the issue with that tho is in a team draft, you can’t pass a mox like that, because the person you’re passing to *can* use it

Also so ok With tempo decks in Jeskai and grixis. Some success with reanimator. Lose a lot in green

The aggro decks tend to be the most successful. When they come together they are fast and consistent and they are good at fun-policing the nonsense that some people often try to get away with

@@cowgirlqueen2636 White is also generally somewhat underdrafted on MTGO so playing white aggro of any form tends to do well. In these team drafts, you see boros aggro do well but not in an outlier way, because people pickup the strong red and white cards or hate draft them.

I think oath of druids is just barely playable unfortunately. There are way too many good creatures. Taking it is similar to a very limiting companion without the 8th card payoff. You would have to pass cards like hullbreacher, orcish bowmasters, all initiative creatures, ragavan, fury, solitude, etc. So even in a deck with like 3 perfect fatties for it, it’s just not great these days, since u have to leave the great cheap creatures out of your deck. Or you can play them anyway, making oath much worse. So again, oath is just barely playable I feel. And I can’t even remember the last time lsv or any of his opponents played it, let alone won with it.

you need to account for the fact that flash itself incentivizes you to play that so called "derpy green stuff" since most of the best flash targets are green anyway. LSV is building around flash and he knows that the best version of the flash deck is blue/green so he's a lot more inclined towards green than white even if the white cards may of been slightly stronger.
