Messi does not wear size L. The correct size is M. Still, you are correct with the comparison... the jerseys identical to those used by the Argentine players in the 2022 World Cup are only available (or were) in Argentina, since they were 100% manufactured in this country and only They were sold here, so they have certain details (subtle but decisive) with respect to the t-shirts manufactured by Adidas in the rest of the countries. This makes them unique and extremely rare. Not to mention that they were sold out months before the World Cup and that a size M (Messi size) is worth a fortune, assuming you found someone willing to sell it, which today is practically impossible. I had the enormous fortune of getting one of Messi's "prop" shirts from the World Cup final (about 200 were made) directly from AFA, and I wouldn't sell it for any amount. The best player in history could have used it. Greetings.
Brother, you were very lucky to purchase a player's issued jersey from Argentina. You've gotten yourself a unique piece of history. I'm from Argentina and I was able to get one as well. It's the most precious jersey in my collection. Cheers!
“Unique”??? Hahaha they literally make thousands! Heck… you got one too!!! 😂 Without a doubt this is the World Cup Champion jersey easiest and least expensive to find ever! I just got a player version for $60, trust me, not that unique. If you find an 86 or even a 94 player jersey, then that would be unique.
Your video was very helpful to me, today I received Messi's shirt at half the price of what an Adidas shirt costs today and it looked very good but when I Googled the tag number the substitute Mexico shirt appeared on the page official from adidas and on Ebay, although I must highlight that this t-shirt says Made in Argentina.
Reasonable is up to the buyer in this case. If it’s a player issue in size M it’s incredibly costly. If it’s the authentic Vietnam version probably in the $300 range
@@theworldoffooty Thanks for reply. Yes it’s the rare player issue version in size M from Argentina. I’m having a hard time to find comparable sales price but was thinking $2k was reasonable. Seller insisted on $2.5k. Is that reasonable?
@@spriestrbiNo. That’s way too much considering the changes are that small. And if the seller won’t accept anything cheaper I would go for the authentic one.
Hello, I am new to buy jerseys all together and want this player issued jersey. Where is the best place to buy the. From? It there an official site or retailer? Thank you for any information you can give.
Sort of. The fabric is actually different and even though some say “made in Argentina” they don’t have the correct details like the lining on the neck or the shade of gold for the crest. But the fakes do look very good
It may be the official commercially available Authentic version, but it’s not player issue. To see if it’s fake google the article number on the small white tag. If it shows a variation of other shirts, and no reputable websites, then it’s a fake
It’s “Hecho en Argentina”. You need to be careful though, because there are fakes that say that, but don’t have the correct textured piece in the neck above the size label
