Chazz I'll be honest with you here...I can never understand a bleedin word he says when he mutters like that...seriously wtf is he SAYING at those times...
My friend has a cockatoo that says"No cage" if he doesn't want to go back. If you put him in his cage anyway, he gets mad and tells you to kiss his ass. She really needs to put him on RU-vid!
When we had our Amazon we got one of those robocalls from "Mr. Water". We put the receiver up to the Brutus and he started to "talk". Mr. Water thought our bird wanted to make an appointment to have the water tested. It was hilarious. Guess when they played it back they couldn't understand bird language.
Simiiformes OMG!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 This describes him perfectly. I’ve been trying to put him into words for over a year...I guess there just are no words to truly describe our dear Maxwell!🤣😂
And every bit as much work/responsibility. They can go insane if they are abused or even ignored. They should require as much regulation as children to adopt them.
I just noticed Max sounds like a ghost, like on Ghost Hunters, when they pick up a voice on the recorder. The ghost's voice is hard to understand, but you can kinda pick up some words just like Max's voice. Maybe they stole recordings from Max's videos as ghost sound effects!
@@zzoinks good point! That’s because Max’s previous owner was a police officer I believe, so that low, gravely noise that kind of sounds like a spirit box? It’s Max imitating a police scanner/radio! :D
@S M multiple personality disorder for sure my kid brother has the same thing....it can be quite fascinating once you figure out which personality ur talking to....
@@ewslxm6407 I never said max wasnt a bird I just deduced he had mpd like my kid brother it's not a danger to society...can never figure out what max says when he mutters like that except when he says I eat celery at 7 degrees ...I lose it then cuz it's too funny... ..
Max studied all the greats of physical improve comedy, Groucho Marx, The Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, Red Skelton, Jackie Gleason, Jerry Lewis, etc.
Corina Vigil YUP...and i'm sure you can imagine that is EXACTLY why he says it in that super sweetie pie way ( adding on the circular bowing motion) . It's definitely helped him his way with another human in his life -->either getting him what he wants or giving him his own way...exactly like a toddler or preschooler. Parrots are so special but people need to know HOW MUCH ATTENTION THEY NEED & If they don't get it they begin to act out in ways that with some human beings puts them at danger (I mean puts the parrot at danger even this beautiful cockatoo with the gorge six feathers if you picked him up you would be shocked that he barely weighs 3 pounds at the most maybe five they're all bones little muscles and feathers so, you can imagine the distraction an angry person can do to something so fragile and if they don't hurt their parent then they resort to keeping the parrot isolated: keeping the cage covered all the time with dark blankets and putting the cage in a distant part of the house to try to drown out the screaming and carrying on can you mention an animal with the cog The cognition of a 2 to 5-year-old child being treated in such a fashion? I really wish that people would learn about all these animals need to live a happy life BE FORE they give into their desire to get a PARROT ... human children who grow out of this phase BUT parrots do not and they live very long lives (depending on type: 40 to 80 years !!
angeleyedboidan It's a fantastic idea! I do have bird toys throughout the house and never even thought of putting them in boxes at ground level. Something I will be doing for sure!
angeleyedboidan Not spoiled, creative thinking.. or thinking "outside the box" LOL! I almost made a pun, righchair! We did the same thing with our own children :-)
@ about 2:17, Max says and accuses Dan of being "frustrated!" @ 2:37 Max says, "I'll bet you're sick of it." Max knows what he's saying and his shenanigans toward Dan are intentional.
Haha. Ya you can't really win an argument with a bird, you just have to employ a different technique. They're similar to a 2-3 yr old human baby but never grows up, thus, a caka cape hanging on the doorknob. They really do have gigantic characters.
I got a tip for you. Maybe you use these already, but if not.... LEGOS. I buy my YN Amazon Lego blocks, build shapes, and he takes them apart. He really loves it. Parrots are thinkers and so this stimulates his thinking process. For instance, I first got him a car made from over 100 pieces for like 10 bucks at ToysrUs... well, takes me 20 minutes to put it together and he takes it apart in 10, but it's worth it. Eventually, I ended up with a big bowl of these Legos and I often just make random shapes for him.
+Thegaming AC mine tends to chew the pieces a bit (where they connect) so many of the legos don't fit anymore. I should replace his soon, but thankfully its a slow process with so many pieces.
One of the best things u can do for them....give them something to do that will stimulate thinking. They will get bored otherwise,& u will eventually go deaf from their screams for attention!
Parrots are so emotionally complex creatures... and so smart XD I have budgies: one of them is an escape artist/acrobat that reacts exactly like a tiny human whenever she eats something she likes, falls or has to take medication and her boyfriend is constantly outsmarting any schemes we try to make him to things he decides he doesn't wanna do lool! He also teaches his girlfriend tricks of his own (yes, like a real teacher would lool! He's adorable!) and they both take care of each other whenever one of them feels under the weather. I also had a cockatiel that would perch on my chair and yell my name whenever dinner was ready and would snitch the dog. I miss him so much :(
Max and Dad you are hilarious, great entertainment. I love the interaction between you two, never disappoints especially Max deep vocals. Love 🌹 from UK 🌹 🇬🇧 ❤ 💕.
Every time I watch Max and yourself interacting, it makes me grin and laugh. Max is so cute and the way you interact with him is precious. I, myself, love cockatoos. Keep up bringing us precious vidoes! Blessings
Loved your video. I have several cockatoos. It's like having a house full of toddlers. A lot of people don't understand how much work and patience is involved on the "owners" end. I applaud you. Gorgeous bird!
