The Argus A2F 35mm camera was made, pre war, in 1939. It was the top of the line when it came out. It was the first American Made Camera that used the new 135 Format film. It has a Bakelite Body, Aluminum Backing, weighs 414 grams and has a cool leather screw on case.
The lens of collapsible and best guess suggest it’s a 50mm lens. It has a Helical Focus from 15” to Infinity and is Anastigmat. The light settings are F4.5-F18 and the speed is T, B, 1/25 to 1/200.
It has a really unique Extinction Light Meter to help get your exposure perfect.
