The problem is nobody is watching streaming services these days, Jeremy Piven is a capable and great actor, but HBO is no way dumb enough to pay hollywood wages for a passion project, won't happen...@@josephrogers1940
GREAT moments from a show that will never been seen anywhere again on any network or streaming service. I’ve played the “wife #1 and therapist #7 good day!” bit about 20 times.
My favorite little thing about Ari is how much he loved his wife. When he talks trash, everyone and everything was fair game, except his wife (and kids of course).
jeremy Piven's career was impacted by sexual assault allegations made public in 2017 and 2018, leading him to take a step back from the spotlight. After more than five years, he is now starring in his first noteworthy film. @@wrestlinginfodude2644
@@wrestlinginfodude2644 he was not punished for being "great at his job", he was #metoo'd. Which really sucks but I'll let others decide what's true or not and whether the blackballing is justified. Due to this he has entered the stand up scene instead of acting. And to my big surprise, he is fucking goooood. A lot of people who have been famous for other stuff such as acting who turns to stand up later (usually the other way around) tend to bomb as comedians but Jeremy has not
@maxholmgren7936 thanks for the info! That's cool to hear. I think a long while ago now I saw him on a podcast either with a comedian or a comedian was the interviewer but he was hinting at going into it.
I love how in the entire series, Ari's perspective really is just a few minutes of Turtle and Johnny throughout his entire career and story lol. Yet when you watch Entourage, Turtle and Drama are part of the best of the cast.
Best compilation I have ever seen!🔥 I laughed so damn hard, just would catch my breath, just to lose it again😂 Immediate playback and shared! Ari Gold is the best TV character ever! Thank you for this!
Even though it’s more dark comedy/drama, this leaves out Ari’s best scene, the deal he makes with Homer Simpson to get his son into the school. “I love this town!”
Casting agent: So Jeremy, how would you like to play hollywoods biggest agent who does and says whatever he wants with no limit in every episode? Jeremy Piven: say no more
I like how they realized very early on that giving him some redeemable qualities (making him a loving husband who cares a lot about his family and respects his wife very much, and giving him Lloyd) was essential for the character. I don't think anyone would have liked him otherwise, season 1 Ari was really annoying.
My favorite character from the show. Jeremy Piven was so good in his role, it's become an actual problem in today's world. Was part of that "Me Too" thing and got hammered from people looking at his role as Ari Gold and thinking that he was that way irl. Not going to say it was unfair or unjust, etc. since it's just an opinion, but it definitely stalled his career.
A Jewish man , let alone any man in today's woke world would be censored for the things Ari said in this show. Love this show! Ari & Lloyd were amazing together.
Telling his wife that he needs to take a call because it is the only way they can afford their home and marriage councilor really begs the question: what does his very rich wife do with “her” money?
