I am very pissed with this whole Wicked situation. Like, yeah, it would be great if we could have, idk, Ginna Claire Mason or Katie Clarke (my favorite Glindas are Annaleigh Ashford, Kara Lindsay, Megan Hilty and OF COURSE HER MAJESTY QUEEN OF MY UNIVERSE Alli Mauzey - but they're too old to play her now :c). But, if they need the superstar from pop music who will increase the ratings and bring more people in... Ariana is PERFECT. She is a light-lyric soprano who has idolised Kristen since she was a child. So she has the talent and the respect for the role. And sure, she's mega famous but her dream of playing Glinda is still valid. People should stop discrediting her. I am 1000000000% behind her, she's gonna be awesome. I can't wait to see it.
Because in the south, when someone is singing and they have soul, they throw their shoes as a sign of respect, and given the fact that both are southern, it explains it
