Nothing wrong with her getting fake tans if thats what makes her feel good. Doesnt make her racist or "black fishing" just bc she wants her skin to be a little darker. Many woman do amd for many different reasons. I personally self tan bc when i try to naturally tan it just burns then goes back to my original skin colour but i like the look of my skin having a slight tan. Yall be tryna find reasons to hate on everyone for nothing
It's most likely because she's around a certain group of people to the point where she mimicks their behavior. She is not black or whatever and she isn't trying to be. Cut the bullshit.
many have brought up that she is, in fact, italian, with heritage stemming from southern italy… meaning it could be possible for her skin to get that dark. HOWEVER - the issue many in the black community voiced was her using a clear blackccent, and African-American Vernacular despite never having been raised in or spent time in such a community. it is important to remember that black people have been shamed for YEARS for their various accents and terminology, whereas white people have widely been considered “cool” for doing so. i appreciate that she recognized in several interviews (perhaps a tad indirectly) that she was young and misguided in her actions during the thank u, next era. i hope future artists can learn from her mistakes and express interest in black culture more appropriately in the future. 🤍🤎🖤
