Both were not strained, « strained » is a serious medical terme when a note is FULL of tension (on the board of not being able to be produced), in all case, So Hyang was actually more light than Ariana on this part (doesn’t mean Ariana was fuller).

let me tell u that unsuported doesn't have to be strained, Ariana was mixing freely and the note was clear, i wasn't stronger than soso because the aproach is different. so light vs balanced. Even when soso resonated it was just not as pleasant as ariana's

Sohyang is F#3/G3 now, she's been supporting G3 for several years, plus ariana isn't consistent with F#3, she's more like G3.

Ariana may have a chance on C5 and maybe C#5 because she supports them, However from D5 and above ariana loses support and Sohyang takes it all and it's not even close, her resonance and support are second to none.

How can you said that it wasn't fair, they were even added a limit a note which is Bb5, because why? I still love Ari's voice in the way she could phrase all over the notes of her range but, Ari only had been hitting that Bb5 just for several times and then haven't went to the higher note tho, But So Hyang has a High supported high note which is C#6 that she still can hit it til these days of , ariana is 31 yo has a soft belted voice now, and So Hyang 46 yo has a great technique and Free to go to the even more high tone... But in 2024 their own ranges are So Hyang, 46 yo (F3/F#3 - C#6), Ariana, 31 yo (G3 - G#5)
