Dóna'm la mà que anirem per la riba
ben a la vora del mar
bategant,
tindrem la mida de totes les coses
només en dir-nos que ens seguim amant.
Les barques llunyes i les de la sorra
prendran un aire fidel i discret,
no ens miraran;
miraran noves rutes
amb l'esguard lent del copsador distret.
Dóna'm la mà i arrecera la galta
sobre el meu pit, i no temis ningú.
I les palmeres ens donaran ombra.
I les gavines sota el sol que lluu
ens portaran la salabror que amara,
a l'amor, tota cosa prop del mar:
i jo, aleshores, besaré ta galta;
i la besada ens durà el joc d'amar.

Dame la mano que iremos por la orilla
muy a la vera del mar
palpitando,
tendremos la medida de las cosas
con decir que seguimos amándonos.
Las barcas lejanas y las de la arena
tomaráun un aire fiel y discreto,
no nos mirarán:
mirarán nuevas rutas
con la mirada lenta del que percibe distraido.
Dame la mano y protege tu mejilla
sobre mi pecho, y no temas a nadie.
Y las palmeras van a darnos sombra.
Y las gaviotas bajo el sol que brilla
nos traerán el salobre que empapa,
al amor, toda cosa junto al mar:
y yo besaré entonces tu mejilla;
nos llevará el beso al juego de amar.
Dame la manor que iremos por la orilla
muy a la vera del mar
palpitando
tendremos la medida de las cosas
con decir que seguimos amándonos.

Give me your hand and we will go by the shore
near the sea beating
We will have the measurement of everything
only telling each other we are in love.
The further boats and these ones on the sand
they will take a faithful and discreet air
they won't look at us they will look for new routes
with the absent viewer's slow look.
Give me your hand and shelter the cheek
on my chest, and don't be afraid of anyone.
And the palms will give us shadow.
And the gulls will fly under the shinning sun.
They will bring us the salt
For loving, near the sea
Near the sea: and, then, I will kiss
You cheek, and the kiss will bring us the lovegame to play.
Give me your hand, we will go through the shove,
Very close of the sea, beating,
We will have the size of all the things only
Saying that we still loving each other.
