He has the exact same little giggle that Daniel Bryan had when saying how quietly confident he's starting to get and that feeling of belonging. He deserves the Wrestlemania top spot this year.
Sami or Jey Uso gonna win one of the title from Roman at Elimination Chamber. Probably Sami will win and defend the title Vs Jey Uso at WM 39. Jey Uso beats Sami at WM 39 exacting revenge for betraying the Bloodline. N Roman and the whole Bloodline will betray Jey Uso and beat him for wwe title at SS 2023 and throw Jey out of the Bloodline just like HHH threw Randy Orton outta Evolution back in 2004 cause of jealousy 🤔
1:34 I absolutely loved his answer for that while most ppl might take that as him being cocky or arrogant. It’s inspiring to me to see someone believe in themself and be unapologetic about it and actually conquer a goal that they visioned would happen. It’s good to be humble & never bad to be your own number 1 supporter
A great character, a great in ring performer and seems to be a genuinely enthusiastic and lovable person, nobody deserves his time at the ‘tippy-top’ more than Sami
What's even more incredible is this wasn't supposed to happen. But Sami Zayn has been getting massive cheers from all over the world from the US to the UK. The Philly crowd this week which is one of the massive ones gave Sami thunderous applause and all raised their ONES in the sky to save him from Roman wrath! Sami has that special connection with the crowd.
Agree completely, the likes of Bryan, Kofi and Sami who have got here organically without being pushed to the moon are incredibly satisfying stories they’ll never be THE guy in the eyes of WWE but they’ve made themselves that way with the fans
@@matttibos2562 exactly. Honestly Matt why does Cody Rhodes or Sami Zayn have to win only?? Why not have Cody and Sami both eliminate each other and we get another Brett Hart and Lex Luger situation! Have both Cody and Sami face Roman reigns on both WrestleMania nights. Code faces Roman for the WWE championship and Sami faces Roman for the universal championship. This would make everyone happy and prevent Cody from receiving negative fan backlash since Sami Zayn wasn't WWE original plan to face Roman. Cody can win the WWE championship for his late father while Sami could be the true to David to defeat Goliath. The storylines here write themselves perfectly plus Roman reigns doesn't need the world championships anymore. This would be the best case scenario.
I actually get why Sami reacted like that to the opening, it took me a split second to catch what Ariel meant myself but he was saying to him Sami was the best.
Whoever pitched the idea of Zayn in the bloodline deserves a pay rise and the people behind the writing of the bloodline storyline should have been handed GOT season 8 script.
I'm an even pre attitude era guy, which to this day was by far the best era ever in pro wrestling. Skipped most of PG, ruthless aggression era and stuff...and just started to gain interest in a wwe storyline. Can't believe it - good work!
@@AdventusQ best case scenario is Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes eliminate each other leaving everyone stunned and tuning into Monday to find out what happens. This could lead to the second time ever both men face Roman reigns at WrestleMania on both nights 🔥🔥🔥
I think the great thing this year is we actually have ppl that we want to win and they are in the position to win and it’s not some outside shot Hail Mary thing this year 😂
This is the story line! This isn’t ariels regular camera set up. Sami’s small digs at Roman, saying he can do what Roman does in his sleep. Saying he can hold the belt for months, watch this be shown on wwe and Roman turns on Sami!
As a wrestler, performer, human being , sami zayn has opened my eyes and the eyes of so many fans, obviously we knew he was talented, that was apparent from nxt and his relationship with the late great el generico but his work in the past 9 months has been electric, sami is one of the most natural baby faces in wrestling which is surprising considering he’s a great heel also, i don’t mind who wins the royal rumble but to not have sami win at least a title or have his mania moment would be a crime, my favourite current wrestler hands down
Sami's character work with The Bloodline has been top-notch and the most compelling storyline in WWE in recent memory. Whether face or heel, it's been so good that it's gotten him super-over with the audience. It's storytelling in wrestling at its best.
Just when I thought I couldn't like Sami Zayn any more than I already do, he turns up to an interview wearing a Propagandhi shirt. AND it's Victory Lap, their best album. Well played, Sami. Well played.
So amazing how wrestlers just understand their audience. Imagine a movie where actors/actresses have to write for themselves and make it make sense. Obviously the wrestlers get help but the majority of it is based on their ideas and they know the reactions they will get so it’s interesting the way Sami talks about timing the specific story progressions depending on where the shows are and who’s over
I really want Sami or Cody to win the Rumble. If Cody wins it's not a Batista or Roman moment because we still want him. Sami and Cody feel like The Rock and Austin in the sense not only are they top guys but universally loved and respected. Roman ( back then ) felt like a Young Super Cena being forced down our throat. I see the similarities but I don't think the crowd will turn on Cody. Between that HITC match, this being his return and he's already expected to win I think it's fine. I think theres 2 roads for Sami. 1 The one most people don't say is Sami v Owens... Or 2 Kevin and Sami beat the Usos hold the tag titles till like Survivor Series, have KO turn on Sami ( maybe have DIY beat them. Have Kevin beat Cody for the championship and have Sami beat Owens next year at WM in the Main Event. I like option 2.
He's so wholesome! I hope he wins a major title someday. And I do believe he can be the face of WWE in the same way Daniel Bryan was at one point of time.
the best storytelling in wwe in current years is definetely the bloodline roman reigns samy zayn usos solo sikoa and my god paul heyman all best people in the faction
Sammy is the man I've never heard anything but respect from his peers . I watch alot of interviews. Superstars who say sammy gave them the best advice and was kind enough to share it.
Sami still has the best match of the last ten years, in my opinion. His match with Nakamura at the NXT Takeover where Nakamura debuted. That was INCREDIBLE.
He is one of us. Realistic and honest. We all can be champions, but can we really do it for the long run. Truth hurts but it is better then lying and failing
This is Daniel Bryan/Batista all over again. WWE has a returning anointed star (Cody Rhodes) whose Wrestlemania shot against Roman was all but ordained but now the fans have someone they’ve chosen (Sami). It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
I loved it! Watched the entire interview from start to finish and I must say, Sami is a very humbled down to earth genuine cool guy! I never was into him but now he has my respect and I love him! I wish him the best and hope he succeeds in whatever side the storyline goes! I'm all in for the ONES, but if Sami does prevail He also has my full support as well! Go Sami! Go WWE
Sami deserves to be the one to beat Roman for the belts. Not only does he deserve it for being so damn loyal to the company but he’s so hot right now it only makes sense to make him the baby face to take down the unstoppable heel
Sami brings up Batista, and I think that's the key difference. Coy winning the 2023 rumble is more like if CM Punkwon the 2014 rumble, or Ambrose won the 2015 rumble. He's not the MOST over guy, but he's close. Batista winning in 2014 was like if Logan Paul had won the rumble this year.
The WWE is going to use this to fuel Reigns against Sami. He went overboard explaining how he could carry the title "in his sleep." Total work. Sami is a talented dude.
Good comparison. Loveable and earnest. But also known for being so entertaining that their scruffy look was irrelevant. They were so endearing people didn’t care about the lack of physique.
Having Sami Zayn in The Bloodline is the best thing WWE could have done. He's made them way more interesting and entertaining to watch. Everything he does is on point. Sami is a true great in WWE and will be a future Hall Of Famer💯❤️
Very true! And what's even better Jay is Sami Zayn wasn't even supposed to be in this position! Sami was just supposed to be a minor role player in the bloodline that would eventually get dispatched. Instead we the fans began enjoying the dynamic and we're hooked on it! And in the last 8 months we have gotten weeks of unpredictable storylines within the bloodline of Roman turning on Sami, Sami Zayn putting his body on the line to protect them, and loads of character development between everyone. Sami Zayn literally worked his way from the mid card to the damn top and is now in the running to possibly main event WrestleMania 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's 100% true but it goes 2 ways they've elevated each other they've made Sammy a serious character not Vince's comedy wrestler they really all work great together and Sammy is playing his role perfectly gotta love this guy but I love bloodline too Sammy is now in a spot that didn't seem possible with Vince.
what he said is so spot on ~ not everyone in the roster can easily pass a Paul Heyman test let alone be in his good books and go on screen with him in various segments on TV till Sami Zayn did it and had been hitting home runs with the delivery and chemistry that both of them shared within the Bloodline 9 months storyline ! thanks Sami and Ariel for sharing this interview with us much
Paul Heyman even said it after survivor series that Sami Zayn has that special connection with the crowd and the bloodline where he helped Roman reigns the usos and solo grow in their characters even more where they are even more seasoned and legitimate when they began this dynasty back in 2020.
I was literally thinking this exact thing the other day. And I've been watching Heyman really closely - it's not like he has to get Roman over any more than he is, nor any other member of the Bloodline. Heyman, in my eyes at least, is now laser focused to get Sami over.
@@randomlyfactual1943 all i do when Reigns and Sami are in the back stage segments, is watch Heyman. his expressions sell the whole thing SOOO well. reigns-sami interactions wouldn't be half as entertaining to me, without Heyman there smiling or getting horrified, then relieved...
Something tells me that this interview will be used against Sami. Didn’t Roman Monday say he didn’t wanna see Sami zayn on any other show, he only wanted to see him at Royal Rumble. Sami saying he could beat Roman can absolutely be a part of this storyline, which leads me to think Roman will actually tell Sami to be in the Royal Rumble and win it for him to have a day off at wrestlemania
I haven't watch WWF since the Attitude Era. But this whole Sami Zayn bloodline thing they have going on, is literally the only reason I even follow wwe anymore... They're killing it and I enjoy the hell outta it
@@phxaz88 after I saw Sami blast Roman I was like noooo, guess I don't need to watch anymore.... Until jey walked out of the ring on them, then it was like Ooooh this could get good too! Lol
Yes, he had chemistry with Roman, but I think it is the dynamic with Jimmy and Jey that allowed him to start shining the way he did. The hate one, love one trope worked like an absolute charm and that is what got us cheering for him. I know there are all sorts of other rumours and plans for The Rock, for Cody and whatnot, but for me, Sami should be the one to main event at WrestleMania
He's not going to. Cody is... The company is investing in Cody as the main man to carry the company flag and no better way to do that than defeat the biggest star.
Sami is the reason I started watching again. This is the truth. He’s the reason the WWE is getting my money this weekend for the Rumble. He reeled me in man!!!!!
Sami seems like an absolute sweetheart. I don't even watch WWE anymore but I've still followed this story on reddit and other mediums and it's been a fantastic story and I can't wait to see how it ends.
@@happilyeverstreaming8377 How? The two the fans want most to win being the last two would be satisfying for everyone. Better than those two being left with Brock bulldozing through them.
i met sami zayn at WrestleMania Axxess 2016 and he is such a nice guy, i even had my replica wwe championship signed by him, it was the very first time i spoke to a wwe superstar.
Storyline-Sami misses a chance to take a shot at Owens. Bloodline takes out Sami (Jey with some trepidation) because Heyman convinces the Bloodline Sami almost cost Roman the championship. Sami enters Rumble late, getting destroyed by the bloodline when Owens comes out for the save at 30 and Sami ends up winning
Sami is untouchable he is on whole another level, and bloodline is the greatest thing in so many years, everyone talking about them honestly most of about Sami and one day Sami winning undisputed title, this one of the once in a lifetime rivalry/ storyline It's the Perfect alignment ( just like Sami said)
Sami Zayn speaks so well and his honesty is great in this interview. Having him in The Bloodline has done wonders for him over the year and I personally think he’s going to get better and better. Maybe not main event level yet but he will definitely get the spotlight sooner enough.
I’ll be dead crying if Bloodline come to an End tomorrow night but I wouldn’t be surprised if The Underdog NXT Sami Zayn Return. My Two Favorite Characters Without A Shadow Of A Doubt.
Most realistic answers by Sami he will be in WWE forever. He could win world championship he could beat Roman , Brock etc in mania if done right but face of the company nahhh
Interviews like this prove that, unlike many other wrestlers, Sami Zayn is just Rami Sebei inserted into the fictional world of WWE. He's just himself, insecurities and all, on screen every week. It's real and relatable, and it's paying off.
I thought the conspiracy Zayn was really lame, main roster debut Zayn was cookie. I never thought he would become something I’d be more excited than Rock or Cody.
