@@pietjepuk9575 There are plenty of 'real' people in every area of the country. The problem is the ruling class hates them and does their utmost to silence them and keep them down because of their common sense and independent thinking. They call it treason and insurrection.
On the Alaska program, I thought she was a ditz and it kind of made me sad. With Craig, she's absolutely adorable! She's no rocket scientist, but she's very quick in a StreetWise kind of way.
She still seems like a ditz in some ways, but that could stem from social anxiety. Even if it didn't, though, she's charming as all hell. The kind of person you feel like you could talk with for hours.
I flew as a bush pilot in AK after leaving the military, I flew for Hageland aviation, Era's predecessor. I knew little Ariel when she was about 7-9. She was just adorable back then, I swear she's gotten cuter, lol
I cannot believe I just spent 2 hours watching the most fun and wholesome friendship I have ever seen and them just talking. This is the positive vibes we all need :)
I like Ariel . She is genuine , totally innocent and honest about everything . Always positive and refreshing. She's definitely a product of her parents ... very nice people with great ethics . I love the show !
This is one the best things about Craig and how genuine he is. No disrespect to Ariel, but she is hardly what you call a "celebrity". So for Craig to invite her once is one thing for a Discovery Channel show, but 15 times is quite amazing AND bringing her to Scotland as one of the main guests. This is one of the best friendships you could see between Craig and a guest. I mean, Kristen Bell was amazing on the show and you could clearly tell there was a genuine friendship there. But for Craig to invite and promote her and her dreams like this is really cool. What other talk show host would do this? There is no real "draw" to keep bringing her on if you know what I mean. I mean when people would see who the invited guests where, probably very few would be like "oh, Ariel Tweto, I'll tune in for that." other than fans of the show already. Its a really cool and pure thing to see, if you know what I mean. sorry for the ramble lol.
I can't believe i've just spent 2 hours watching these two being adorable and funny. I liked her show flying wild alaska but didnt know she was such a sweetheart. and theyre really friends, so nice to watch, thanks for putting it all together.
well she isn't widely known unless you watch the reality show, she runs the business now, so she isn't one of those hollywood types that are just out and about in the tabloids to read about. Her dad retired so she's up in Alaska doing stuff at home. Pretty much we all know her from Craig's show, many didn't watch her familys reality show we know her from here.
That Ariel is absolutely adorable. The man she finds worthy giving her heart to will be very lucky indeed. Pretty on the outside, pretty on the inside, a real genuine soul.
I remember when I saw her stop in during the show once I had no idea who she was lol. Craig was like "Ariel stopped in" and for years I didn't know. Not until I started watching these old episodes.
Great! I had hoped that she would be one of your next videos. What I think is cool is that Craig and her are actually friends in real life and not only showbusiness friends.
yesman699 she had been seeing Craig's nephew during the end of the show's run, I wonder what ever became of that? She is still friends with the Ferguson family.
Ariel is such a genuine person. I can’t believe I haven’t watch this episode until today. It was worth the two hours of my life. Many thanks to Jay Leno Fly for compiling all these videos for us to enjoy.
I loved that compilation and always loved seeing her on TLLS. She is THE most pure and honest guest he has ever had. There has never been anything fake about her. I loved the way she was so honest and open and herself. Thanks for gathering all of those together and posting those, JayLeno Fly. =D
She is so cute and innocent. You can tell Craig likes and respects her because he dials back the baudiness around her, which is great,he didn't even do that for Katie Couric.
I think when the guests are as engaging as Ariel, he doesn't need to run his mouth as much. They have engaging conversations without him *having* to save it, unlike some of his other guests.
Looking at the Discovery show - season 1 most of all - I admire Craig even more. Discovery made a habit showing Ariel as the naive and less intelligent part of the whole family and business. Here's Craig, though, treating her lovely and taking her seriously, showing us Ariel as a great young actress and woman.
Ariel co-wrote an helped produce that show. If she had a problem with it, she had every oppotunity and the power to change it. She knew what she was doing. I do like her and enjoy watching their interactions, though.
The Scotland parts were great. I never knew anything about her or her show, but she's a pretty entertaining guest, and the perfect gal to bring along to judge the local smoked fish.
I was in the same seat as yourself, I did however watch her show out of curiosity, and it's actually pretty great. But one doesnt need doing that to enjoy this interaction, I didn't, nor seem you.
To the two or three cynical posters on here who think she's "naive", that's only because she's not sophisticated in the big city sense. She doesn't know all the cultural references that "sophisticated" cynics know. If you want a better sense of what a deep and good person she is, watch the episode of Flying Wild Alaska where she has to deal with the suicide of a young man she knows. It nearly breaks her heart. She's so destroyed by the news that she can't finish the scene in the moment she learns of his suicide. A bit later, she speaks from a deep sadness and bitterness about all the suicides of young people in the villages around her. When she says through her tears that she's "So tired of this", I nearly cried myself. She's a brave, strong, and good young woman. Anyone who has a problem with that can just go f**k themselves.
The suicide issue up there is a real thing due to the seclusion and lack of purpose for the kids. And I guarantee if we keep on this stupid path of shutting everything down and locking the kids out of school and social interaction its gonna look a lot like these secluded villages up there .
Once upon a time, I was in the Air Force and stationed at a radar site in Unalakleet. Two things: There were no women in that village at that time that even came close to looking like her. Secondly, I went on to a career in radio and her description of disc jockeys and their physical appearance is absolutely true, which may have factored into my first point; maybe there were women who looked like her but concealed themselves when I approached. Actually, in parka, snow pants and mukluks, there was no way to tell if the person you encountered was a woman or not until they spoke. Sometimes, not even then.
Thank you Jay leno fly for your work at imortalizing Craig on RU-vid. I watch regulaly as his was the best latenite show out there. Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming.
After watching 13 episodes, I realized I'd been watching all of them with a silly, goofy smile on my face. That doesn't happen often. Her enthusiasm and her joy of life is seriously infectious. I'd just like to say, 'Thank you, Ariel. May this world bring you all the joy and happiness you clearly deserve..'
That was almost the most entertaining clip I've seen on You Tube. Ariel Tweto is probably the most entertaining guest Craig has had on his show. I can't believe that Ariel is single. She is absolutely awesome.
I think many people like her. Shes open, funny, goofy. She of course grew up kind of a tomboy in the limited community, but thankfully she got popular and got out and did stuff, finally figured out that she's cute and people like her. Got out and got a little wild and had fun. Tattoo on the back of her neck, fixing up, partying, I'm glad she's out and doing stuff shes adorable.
fourbypete - I really like Ariel a lot myself. However I for one have no trouble at all believing that she is single. That’s because I have had the benefit of actually being in a relationship with a girl who could have been an Ariel Tweto clone. Sure, the energetic and childlike behavior is very cute an endearing at first. But, when you are actually in relationship with such a person for a while this behavior quickly starts to get on your very last nerve over time and you eventually just wish that they did not have to be “on” all the time. I’m a very energetic and spontaneous guy myself and I love to get silly and goofy, but I can also instantly which gears when need be and become more serious, mellow, and laid back. A person who can never turn it off though just gets annoying over time. Just imagine someone who acts like this even when you are watching a beautiful sunset, soaking in hot tub under the stars, or even when making love. And imagine someone who is not even capable of having serious heart to heart discussion, ever. What I’m trying to say is, be careful what you wish for.
Lol none of you live in alaska, so what you don't know is her family owns ERA air so they charge 400 dollers a person on them flights to anchorage 190 to 160 to fly to beathol so they are not helping the people much with them coastaly flights trust me we know, so that may be the 51 dislikes from people who know what it is truly like in a native alaskan village, real natives!
I live in the village dumass!where the fuck do you live? When you try to get people to conform to so called the new world you damn right they can make it costly and expensive, when there way of life was just fine befor they corupt and inforce a new way of liveing, the elders predicted this was going to happen and to watch out for the white man that would change the young kids and traditional ways, hey fool look at my channel I live right in the thick of it and know what the natives feel thay just don't speek out! Stop lighting people's assess with fire and get some real wizdom!
I love Ariel... She is such a fantastic person to watch and listen to. Their show is really entertaining if you are even remotely interested in aviation.
Wow, I have never seen or heard about Ariel before seeing this! And, Discovery is my favourite channel! I have to admit, I favoured Ice Pilots since they are Canadians. I will have to watch Flying Wild Alaska! Thanks for this video!
She is so good-hearted and adorable and overall an amazing person, she is like a unicorn in the modern cynical media landscape. Now I just wish this video was not already over.
That girl is a trip…she so funny. I watched Air Alaska all the time when it was on and let me just say their a very interesting family to say the least. Her father is pretty normal. 😂😂😂
Appearance 11 is almost a little spooky now. They're talking about Ariel and her sisters new helicopter, and how she's going to get her license for it. Craig mentions how much more dangerous they are than planes. Ariel then goes on to mention that in the future she could helicopter people like Craig and Kobe Bryant and others around L.A. and surrounding areas. I was just like, whoa! Anyway, another fantastic collection you've shared with the world here Jayleno Fly. Bravo!
Whatever people think about Craig and Ariel, they're BOTH pilots. If you're a pilot yourself, you know there's a basic honesty between these two- because each knows the other isn't a phony. Taking your life in your hands on purpose on a regular basis is self-validation of the first order.
I started to watch this, not knowing who Ariel Tweto was, and thinking there's no way I'll be watching the whole 2 hours of it .. But I found myself falling in love with this totally wonderful woman, and just couldn't tear myself away .. She is completely beautiful, inside and out !
I like her. Im at the part where she ran on the highway to the beach 🤣🤣🤣. In 68', i was about 7 in Hawaii and i wanted to go to my swimming lessons at Trippler Hospital. I hitch hiked to the pool and i was on the highway when someone picked me up and took me to my lessons. In those days you could get away with it, but i sure got in trouble 😆😆😆, i didn't know i was too young to hitch hike. 🤣 ✌️🦁 The amputee/colostomy meal was crazy. 😧 I was thinking, maybe the person was an amputee in another life, so she had her arms removed to feel like her old self? Just thinking. Last edit: just finished the whole video, and i feel like she is family now. 😊 Everyone have a blessed day. ✌️🦁
Always thought she was just adorable. Saw her on one of those wacky obstacle course shows once, long before I learned she part of a family run airline in Alaska.
Notice that in the Scotland special, Craig appears with Ariel and other guests at the same time.. Ariel is responsible for getting the most laughs out of Craig. And little details like shes asked the fish guy if he wanted to eat some fish and with Sedaris, she asked him what he wants people to ask him.. She does genuinely appears to be a naturally good and fun person to be around with
Star date...2021...pandemic...you tube brings life into our world through transmission of hilarious and nonsensical wholesome comedy. If spock were her he would appreciate and approve. Thanks
Sure miss Craig and Ariel. He was the best late night host ever, and Flying Wild Alaska was an eye opening show for this gal from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia!
